BrideOfDracula:I couldn't help but respond to this. Psychiatrist do help people to know their source of depression and thereafter will come up with the most suitable treatment. Secondly a hypnotist is is usually used for people who for example have a suppressed memory and they help you remember or if you have a bad habit that you want to get rid of something along those lines and a psychic is similar. So it would be utterly pointless for her to go to such people when she knows why she is depressed. It seems the only clueless one is you. Leave the gal alone if you don't care and try and at least research what you are saying before you come across dumber than you are. |
@ op firstly you posted on the wrong forum. Here people like to insult and castigate rather then give a civilised reply. I think you should google depression forums and then join those who can provide adequate support. Firstly the problem is not your weight but your depression. You say you are an emotional eater and that's why you keep yo yoing. If you can get over the depression I believe that you can lose weight. There are different types of methods you can try medicinal since you don't want to talk to a professional. A psychiatrist can be very costly depending on which country you are per session so the medication could be a better option Secondly don't go for these fad diets, quick weight loss nonsense. It didn't take you 1 day to put on all the weight so don't expect it to go off in one day either. Weight loss is 80percent diet an 20% exercise. You can gym all u want but if you don't change yr diet you won't lose weight. I personally know how it feels like to be depressed and people esp africans don't understand that's why you need to join forums where people will understand you instead of insulting and putting u down. Being fat is not the end of the world imo.You can always lose the weight. |

JiggamanGh:Jiggamangh come on man. Clearly you can see they are not Ghanaians and am starting to get the feeling they are the same person(maky and supremo) They just both happen to be ghanain born Nigerians who speak and act like Nigerians and have nothing good to state about Ghana. Real ghanaians are very patriotic irrespective of where we are born or grew up. Ghanaians are not tribalitic like that. I have been observing a lot and ......just open or eyes and see clearly. Don't let them fools get you all hot and bothered... Superhombreno often times than not has nothing good to say about Ghana, ghanaina men and women. Like seriously would a true Ghanaian say that? Am so over these fake wannabes. We know ourselves ![]() |

Another thing in mind is its not always easy to compare one country to another. If I start comparing and saying price of food in Ghana is way cheaper than South Africa therefore Ghana is better is a fallacy. South Africa has a higher cost of living and thus things will be more expensive but if am in the country legally and am earning an income that is sustainable to meet my environment than I will be be just fine. what should be considered as well is the money derived from the business/employment you will be making in Ghana. For example if I am working in a company in Ghana and I make 3000 cedi's and I go to South Africa which has a higher cost of living and am earning the same amount in rand equivalent than I wont survive as things are more expensive. Same like I cant relocate from South Africa to Ghana and expect the same salary that I am earning there as the cost of living is cheaper in Ghana. So these are the things you need to consider. The decision you make today does not only affect you but will also affect your future kids etc Personally the things that I also consider are education, crime and safety, health sector are there good hospitals etc, peace and the people. If for example you do not like the people than you will never ever fully enjoy the country you stay in. |
phibetakappa:Yes I am a Ghanaian |
Fury007:You were spot on with a lot of things but just want to address a few misconceptions. 1. All over the world you will find that women are generally more friendly an excepting to outsiders than their male counterparts. If you go to America, South Africa etc you will find that you will get more "love" from the woman. If a Ghanaian man and a Ghanaian woman went to Nigeria who do you think would get more luv? the women would get more luv from the guys more likely than not. This is the truth and if you travel more you would understand why. 2. Just like you have some Nigerians who hate Ghanaians you will find some Ghanaians who hate Nigerians. That however does not mean every Ghanaian or every Nigerian. I know some Ghanaians who went to Nigeria and had the worst experience ever. Does it mean all Nigerians are bad and that Nigeria is a bad country with bad people? Like I said many Ghanaians tend to be wary of Nigerians because of experiences. It does not mean that we hate you. If you are a good person and you come to Ghana to do legit business or are gainfully employed than you will not suffer or have any issues in Ghana. 5. People should try and be objective and provide proper advice. Everywhere you go you will find some things that are better than your country and some things that are worse than your country. This is why you need to analyse what you want to do first in any country but the best experience is visiting the country itself. Life is tough everywhere and its even tougher in another country if you do not have some steady flow of income and are not legally residing there but if you do than you will enjoy it. This goes for anywhere in the world if you are not legal and don't have steady income you will suffer. 6. Not all Ghanaian women 'love' or are interested in Nigerian men so just becareful because I see a lot of generalisations here. Yes you will find some girls that will like Nigerian men either because they had good experience dating you, bad experience with ghanaian men, want to try something different or the money hungry ones who love the flashy nature and the spending. Those are not the majority so saying Ghanaian women love Nigerian men more than their own men because we feel they are more responsible is a fallacy of the highest order. The reverse is the case besides most women prefer their own men then others so this is normal. In conclusion Ghana is not heaven. It's still a third world country just like Nigeria but will obviously have some things that are better than Nigeria and some things that are worse. The grass is not always greener on the other side. I always believe that if you are doing okay in your country then unless you can go and do better elsewhere, its better you stay in own country than go and suffer in another country. The good thing about Ghana is that its close to Nigeria but for other people who relocate to far away countries, its not as easy to come back home bearing in mind costs and all. Btw I was not replying just to you alone just in general. |
Coming from a real ghanaian woman and not a fake wannabe. The truth is ghana is tough, things are expensive and ghana has a higher cost of living then nigeria. I believe the best advice is from onatisi. He has said it loud and clear. If you are an artisan or employed and have stable income then ghana will be best for you but if you are planning to go to ghana just to hustle or to do yahoo Yahoo then you better stay back in Naija. I believe the best thing to do is to visit ghana and see how its like and perhaps Togo then you can decide what you want to do. Ghanaians are friendly and hospitable but it also depends on your approach. If you are going to be rude , insultive and condescending then don't expect a good response Also yes we tend to be a bit skeptical when Nigerians are involved but if you are good person doing legit business then all will be well. Wish you the best of luck with your relocation if you do decide to move to Ghana |

zudozz:It appears a lot of people here lack basic comprehension skills. Veteran Ghanaian based Nigeria music star, Obiba Sly Collins Ghanaian based nigerian means a nigerian based in Ghana but he is a Nigerian guy your own fellow country man. Obiba sly collins. I know quiet a number of Nigerians with the surname collins. Its your own foolish country man that you people have been spewish trash about. There is no Ghanaian that will be happy to brag that he fkd 150 Nigerian girls. Smdh |
LecciGucci:lol @ if i am a real Ghanaian. Just go through my history and you will know or ask the fellow Ghanains here. I can talk for Ghanaians cos this is what a lot of Ghanaian girls say. I'd say 8 out of 10 times when a Ghanaian girl marries a Nigerian its a Yoruba guy. This is the truth. Ask @popowaa, royalpearl, slicqyprissy, cocoama,chocolatecandie,trapqueen1,ghgirl, lilyomi and am sure they wont tell you any different |
