EgunMogaji2: Hello Chief, the design wasn't special to me, just that I was adamant about the quality of the materials and welding work.
If you shop the picture around I think you can get it made readily down there. It's extremely heavy so shipping will be an issue.
PS: It was actually first advertised for sale on here by one of us @Muyesky but I then found it being manufactured in my area so I approached the welder with my specifications.

EgunMogaji2: Up for sale is a used but in good condition 14 feet metal gate. Due to its heft it’s more appropriate for someone in Elebu area in Ibadan.
Made up from 2.5mm checker plate of yesteryears.
Thanks. Guv'nor, I understand it's sold. Could you perhaps permit me to have same design produced in imo state? Regards |

spyder880:

What can man do that to adjust, and keep adjusting. I was born in Nigeria, grew up on the streets and still walking the streets, I may never own an intentional passport, talk less of travelling out of Nigeria in the next few years. The hardship in Nigeria has toughened us, to the extent that we might not cope if things ever get better, why? Because we are used to things working upside down. It's funny true.
No light - I switch on my battery powered appliances to play music or just read. (I hate generators) No roads - The SUV or any car with a very high frame No fuel - find a small car with good distance per litre of fuel No security - Join the neighborhood security outfit and participate High inflation - Buy in bulk and turn your house to a mini store. No water - I dig a well or borehole.
We must survive in this country and even thrive here, whether they like it or not. We must keep doing the good work, and believing that our children will not suffer what we suffered. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going indeed. Nigeria is a failed State, sadly her economic adversities are a product of high-level dynamic enterprise that cannot be manipulated by prophet or pseudo- technocrats. Only war economies run by failed state that operate a “war economy” become a huge segment of the 160 million people has been disempowered. There is also a legal vacuum and this has forced many Nigerians to adopt coping strategies of survival of the fittest. It is illicit businesses that thrive because law and order are not enforceable in our land (apologies to the apostles of the rule of law). |

EgunMogaji2: Is very hard for sure and why expectations have to be set.
I have friends who refuse to build in Nigeria or gave any plan in Nigeria.
They come home twice a year, lodge in hotel and charter unmarked taxi.
No worries about electricity, water, vehicle, omo onile, COFO, etc
In life one must have a plan. And a prayer. Again, you read me through! I come once a year alone. Once in three years with family. Bring in a naija favourite vehicle for sale after use (4weeks) during vacation. Lodge in a friend's hotel (i buy my foodstuffs, they charge for cooking for me). Supervise my 2kobo retirement home. And return back to work. Humility has always guaranteed me security. Am not planning to relocate or settle in naija even during Pension. Just holidays. I no want palava with myself or anyone! 9 inches blocks sold for about 1 naira 45 kobo in 1991. Dollar sold for 6 and 7 naira in 1991. What happened to us?? |

https://www.nairaland.com/6253248/used-14-feet-solid-metal I just checked it out. But unfortunately, am not around. If it's still available, could you please arrange transportation for me to Onitsha. Finishing touches would be done there before final delivery to my home town in IMO state. Thank you in anticipation. |

Jasobry: This wooden door is made in locally... I want to use same design for my entrance door. How cool is it? Nice choice in my opinion. Especially from the most solid wood and the bricks ideas for the frame. I'll be following your progress as am looking at such entrance door too. Wishing you God's blessings. |

Japiloma: U are now misreading me. It's not wrong if u are new and it's not a crime and that was why i still answered the questions u asked concerning the price. But for asking me again if i have fund or not sounds somehow especially after telling u that i have sold the $84 and what i have now presently is another $120. Beside, the point of me telling u to chat me up is that if u notice, this is not Ecurrency trading thread, the MOD can ban us for derailing the topic of this thread, anyone that wants to learn about Ecurrency Exchange business or wants to trade can go to Ecurrency thread and can talk as much as he wants and nobody will BAN u. So don't pick offence on my reply it's for the safety of both our accounts. You can always chat me up if u are serious about buying the fund. I'm open to deal with u anytime u are ready. Shalom. Noted. It's rare to find this constructive and responsible response on this thread. I apologize for the misinterpretation. I'll reach out quite soon. |

Japiloma: It seems u are new to buying funds on Nairaland. So let me state how things are done, but first of all, i told u wen u quoted my old post of $84 that it has been sold and i have another $120 right now for sale if u are still interested and u are still asking me if i have fund or not. Also, price is negotiable and can only be discussed on Whatsapp but if u insist. Asking price is #355/$. U can always chat me up for negotiation. This is a forum, not a sales point. Thank you What if am new, is it a crime? What's wrong if others learn? Everyone is careful and each transaction would assist others. Besides, you must not sell to me and I must not buy from you. Thank you. |
