To Avoid problems do the parapet, wood work n roofing in nearest interval. Not too long. I have seen a problem like DT in Ikate. Since qualitative work is not sure. I even have a house I want roof in Ikorodu now and some part of the parapet is like falling and has not taken long time.

Don't even risk that with pre-cast fixing type.

You're indeed a saviour. Even though am disappointed for not getting any input by some other prominent commentators, engineers and building professionals on this thread. Block laying and setting is presently ongoing on the lintel and work would stop here until am present for parapet and roofing. Certainly a pre cast parapet is not on my list.

My annual vacation this year might not hold due to the continued Covid-19 flight ban and other measures in place. Too bad that half way into the year, we still face uncertainties about 2020 especially in DIASPORA. And as a result, I might not complete my planned roofing of my 6 bedroom duplex this year.
The question is:
Could I do the parapet now and then the roofing next year?
For how long can i leave the parapet bare and exposed?
Could 10 days be enough to do the parapet and then the roofing if they must be done together?
Materials are no problem as a pal who owes me a favour is providing them from his shop.

I think in construction term we have foundation tie beam as ground beam
And foundation plinth beam as chaining or at natural ground level?
Am I correct,because a nairaland ask of ground beam,base on pictures for the foundation work,I didn't see groundbeam but plinthbeam overhead the blocks u laid,
