deji2009: How did you set the time ?
Did you went to the bios
to carry out the diagnostics

guys pls help me. The time of my system has stopped working and i don't know what to do

What's the time right now on your laptop ?

Does the laptop keep the time when
you set it or does it keep it and then
looses it ?

Have you or anybody else tempered with
the bios settings ?

Any recent service to your laptop and what ?

We need answers so as to narrow down what might have
caused the laptop not to keep its time/clock.

I take this is windows xp ? right click the time and check your
time zone. what is it set to ?

Restart laptop and keep pressing f10 for bios
scrool down to mains and check the time. the
clock is somewhere there search for it.

Note down the time and f10 to save and exit.
let start up as usual and compare the time
with the one you jotted down earlier. what's the difference.
It might be you need to go back to bios and set the time
then test it in normal windows. if no joy
it might be what we refer to as Cmos battery is faulty
and need replacing.

robonski15: Met a nairalander last week.. I have been following her comments for sometime now because she is someone that has a good sense of humour.. I decided to drop a pm and we began talking then later exchanged bb pins..

We decided to meet on a particular day Though she reside in another state,just a couple of hours.. On that day she told me she was on her way, I doubted her at first but later I realised she was truly coming.. After some hours she finally landed at my place, she is the most prettiest girl I have ever met.. She had a good height, pretty face, plush skin infact she was totally gorgeous..

We went out to eat and came back and we began talking about so many things, and the way she analysed every topic made me wonder her level of reasoning considering her age, this made me liked her so much.. We chatted till mid night and slept off... The next morning she had to leave, I tried persuading her to stay one more night but alas she is a very principled young girl.. I escoreted her to the park and she left..

Since she left, every day and night I think about her and am already in love with her, I just hope we carry the relationship to the next level..

Please house, I had little challenge with a female friend of mine. On my visit to her place since she called me to say she was not feeling too fine, I got to her place a bit late cos of trafick from work that particular day wc prompted me to sleep over. Exactly 1am in the nyt, she woke me up to say she is feeling ache in her tommy that I shd help her rub it wc I did. Suddenly she told me that she "needs me" of wc I said NO bt she started crying that I shd nt let her down wc I later sucumd.
