HealthRe: Should Abortion Be Legalised by Valentinooo: 5:38pm On Dec 04, 2013
I read an article on this same topic 2years ago on tell newspaper. The writer was claiming the abortion rate in Nigeria where it is illegal is greater than that of America where it is legal. I was like *WTF*.. since pple have decided to legalise it illegally, I will advise govt to legalise it, train medical personnel well in that field and let them do it in a professional way rather than doing it secretly wit quack doctors and continue to take the lives of our females. My opinion though

Ok then. Maybe you writers on nairaland should find a means of dealing wit these plagiarists. I really enjoyed it, just for the little parts i couldn't read.

LiteratureRe: The Tenth Generation by Valentinooo: 10:50pm On Nov 26, 2013
1. is there any link to where i can get the last part of it??

2. In your analysis of the tenth generation you used 100years ago, looking at it critically it should be something above 250years (assuming each father give birth to his son at age 25). Though it's not necessary but it's still worth pointing out incase of publishing.

If you've been following this ASUU/fg saga from the beginning, you will realise that prof. Ruqayyalt was giving her support for ASUU one of the reasons i believe was responsible for her sacking. It's just that you can't oppose the cabinet you are feeding from in Nigeria. If you read the outcome of the meeting the two parties held last before ASUU pulled out, it's obvious in that news that the prof had her support for ASUU

PoliticsEx-nema Spokesman Sacked Over Okonjo-iweala Article by Valentinooo(op): 1:56am On Oct 10, 2013
The Federal Government has fired a former Public Relations Officer of the National Emergency Management Agency, Mr. Yushau Shuaib, in connection with an article he wrote that was considered critical of the Finance Minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.

In the letter communicating Shuaib’s removal from service, the government also referred to him as Assistant Chief Information Officer even though he was promoted Chief Information Officer with effect from January 1, 2012, suggesting that he might have been demoted as well.

The former NEMA spokesperson was sacked for writing an article, published by an online news medium, PREMIUM TIMES, alleging that some appointments by Okonjo-Iweala were lopsided.

The article titled ‘Still on Okonjo-Iweala over Controversial Appointments’, published on March 6, also called on the minister “to ensure that appointments into important positions should be done in credible and transparent manner that can withstand public scrutiny.”

Shuaib was initially transferred to the Ministry of Information after the minister had called him on the telephone to tongue-lash him for having the effrontery to criticize her method of making important appointments.

His transfer was said to have followed a complaint by Okonjo-Iweala to Minister of Information, Labaran Maku, on Shuaib article, and a demand that the civil servant be disciplined.

RomanceRe: Should I Go Ahead And Marry This Decent Lady Who Approached Me First? by Valentinooo: 2:23pm On Oct 08, 2013
@op, there is nothing bad in it, you can go ahead and marry her. Forget all these old and archaic mentality you are thinking of. To clear your conscience, propose to her and let her give you reply. Which means she approached you but you propose her. It is that propose i see very important and not the approach. But i like her courage, pls tell her i'm giving her two thumbs up cheesy
