Not again, we have gone past that. So, no need explaining the obvious idiocy in the presidency of lies and Bulaga.
We are now trying to resolve the Living Wage brouhaha. If Cornfused government cannot pay a living wage, let them pack and return home.

There are states in Nigeria who are still paying the old N18k minimum wage as they are claiming they can't afford the N30k.

Would those states also be expected to pay N100k minimum wage?
Leave that to those states to sort themselves. FG that is still subsidizing Hajj should pay living wage.

Politics › Labour Is Right, A Living Wage Should Equate $300 Or Nothing. by Validated(op):
A federal government that can spend about half a Trillion on Hajj, spending N15T on highway to no where, bought expensive and over priced SUVs for NASS every 4 years, where local alternatives exist, should be able to pay a living wage. Labour has been magnanimous in giving government one year to put its house together.
Afterall, subsidies on Petrol has gone.
- Electricity subsidies are gone.
- Naira has assumed her correct value.
- Customs are now raking in Trillions
- Our tax bracket has tripled.
- Our oil production has exceeded OPEC quota
- Our refineries and Dangote Refinery has boosted our foreign reserves.
- We now earn more than all previous administrations.
- Tarrifs are now tripled
- Federal, State and LGA allocations are now quadruple
- We are now the choices investment destination
- Oil outputs are in more states like Ogun.
- We have a fish first class accountant as president

So, let these gains trickle down so that the people will atleast feel the impact also.

You are not being realistic with your N474k demand. If Labour union table N100k, FG would negotiate to what they, state and Private sectors can pay

Make una be reasonable for once
Common sense is no longer common. If you are not wicked, how can you be supporting a government that removed Fuel Subsidies, removed Electricity subsidies, yet spending over half a billion on Hajj subsidies . Buying expensive and overpriced SUVs for NASS, whereas we have local alternatives and flushing N15T on a highway to nowhere. Now, pay workers, you are offering a pitiful $40 a month. Anything less than $300 is not acceptable.

FG is not serious, Since N30000 was $380 in 2018, the FG should atleast offer Labour that equivalence in 2024. That is N120,000.
This is even low considering that in 2019, FG was subsidizing fuel by over 50%, subsidizing electricity by over 70%. The meeting point should not be less than N150000 - N180000

If Tinubu cannot pay N250K, let him resign. What is he doing with a bloated list of aides? A bloated list of useless ministries? Paying N90b for hajj? Why use our scarce resources to massage the useless ego of a useless NASS?
He increased fuel from by 300%, dollars increased by 300%, he is wasting N15T on an unprofitable and unfeasible costal road, he is busy sharing money to idle people in the name of fraudulent 'cash transfer". Yet he cannot pay those who drive the economy their wages?
Politics › Re: Nigerians Should Sue Organized Labour To Court Via Class Action. by Validated: 11:51am On Jun 01, 2024
MASTAkiLLAh:
Organized Labour has vowed to go on strike by the third of June 2024 which is by Monday. Nigerians have been front sit eyewitnesses to the meaningless strikes which Labour has been embarking upon these past few months with even critical infrastructure being affected.
I therefore implore Nigerians to institute a class action lawsuit against Labour unions and their leadership if their strike actions affect us negatively in any way especially for services we pay for ie critical infrastructure like electricity.
I've not seen or heard anywhere in the world where a bunch of unionists keep frustrating the people they claim to be serving. We all know that Nigeria is in a deep mess now and no government can pay that over 400k MINIMUM WAGE they're demanding even if the FG cuts frivolous expenses across board so who are they kidding ? Their planned strike should and must not affect critical infrastructure if not we as Nigerians should sue the NLC and other Labour leaders to court to test what authorities they have under the constitution and the FG will have to follow suit because, the Tinubu led has tried it's reasonable best in this case.

What do you think ?

Cc nlfpmod
Since Tinubu got the most votes in 2023 elections, those who voted for him "massively" should go about the class action suit. Nothing concerns the rest of us who voted for PO. If he stole the msndate, then let empty air and INEC pursue the class action.
