God1000:Why not, if not? |
Op dies Biafra sound IGBO to you? I dare ask you, what has been the lot of minorities in Nigeria? Have they been wiped off the face of the earth? Do you even know what is called constituent assembly? |
Sangoamadioha1:Bro, ďo they have a different Oro Festival in Ikorodu? When election was conducted in Lagos last year, they forgot that Oro was only celebrated at night. See below screenshot and judge yourself I guess a simple Google should have helped. Never mind, I got you covered.

Trump is still winning 2024 election. His guilty verdict is subject to appeal. |
It is sickening that some tribal and political jobbers and ethnic chauvinist like Reno Omokri keep fooling themselves with issues of national concerns. These same ethnic jingoists are always mum when Nigerians, especially the female folks are barred from movement whenever the Yorubas observes Oro festivals. Reno has never condemned any Yoruba politicians for not condemning oro festivals. Neither have these ethnic noise makers ever come out to tell us us of the economic impact of locking people up for purpose of some traditions that are alien to theirs. If Nigeria is a responsible state, May 30 should be a day to commemorate and honor heroes of both Biafra and Nigerian forces who laid their lives in the course if a civil war. Trying all it coukd to obliterate that part of our history is simply foolhardiness. If I may ask, how many times has Reno call out any Northern politician when Boko Haram strikes? Which SW political figure did Reno hound when some people declared Oduduwa Republic last month? Which SW politician did Reno castigated for Oto festivals lockdown? Who has Reno called out when pipelines are busted by militants in his home state of Delta #Reno-it-is-Time-to-Stop-the-Stupidity @NL mod in the interest of balanced reportage. Move this to front page like Reno's post. https://www.nairaland.com/8109900/reno-omokri-criticizes-oby-ezekwesili |
We saw more tgat this in 2020, yet PDP defeated APC in all 18 LGA |

yommen:Was WAEC senseless enough to fix exams on a volatile date that has ALWAYS been a Flashpoint since 1970? Are you a hypocrite not to know that same WAEC avoid fixing exams or rather respect Oro days in SW? Are you not aware that WAEC closes their offices on such days? |
Did you just wake up? Thought you have been sharing bed with terrorists. Have you asked yourself why there is nothing called Christianophobia in Islamic nations, but only Islamophobia in Christian nations? When Muslims are in minority, they shout Islamophobia When they grow to 20%, they demand equity with other religions Allow them to reach 40%, they demand Sharia or death Once they are over 50%, they demand "conversion or death to the host. It is called TAQQYA |
easzypeaszy:If you are not a hypocrite did you call Obi when the Yoruba declared the Republic of Oduduwa last months? May be you forgot, let me remind you to provide Obi's comment on YORUBA SESSESION AGENDA

The defunct Biafra was established on 30 May 1967 by Igbo military officer and Eastern Region governor C. Odumegwu Ojukwu under his presidency, following a series of ethnic tensions and military coups after Nigerian independence in 1960 that culminated in the 1966 anti-Igbo pogrom. The declaration was an aftermath of the reversal of the Aburi declaration, wherein Yakubu Gowon backed out of the Aburi declarations. In the heat of the tension, Southern Nigeria thought of breaking away from the North to form two countries or perhaps a separate Southern Republic. It was reported that there was an unwritten arrangement that Obafemi Awolowo should also declare the Republic of Oduduwa as soon as Biafra was declared. This informed the decision of the Biafrans soldiers to attempt to help Yorubas liberate the South-West, otherwise, the incursion into SW up to Ore in today's Ondo State, was not necessary. However, records have it that Awolowo and the South-Westerners buckled at the last minutes and reneged on the arrangement, or better still thought otherwise. Looking back now, and with hindsight of what we now have as a Nation, Nigeria, would the Southern Nigeria have fared better now? Did Awolowo and SW's decision to remain in greater Nigeria confer any advantage to the South or a lost opportunity? Please., this is not about tribe, session or a call for same, but a discussion about our history as a people. |
komekn:Bro, you took that off my mention. What erong with this country? |
Asue Ighodalo , Governor of Edo State (2024 - 2032). No other candidate is recognized in Edo State, even LP. |
Tinubu has nothing to offer. He will dig Nigeria into bigger debt in 2025 and even worse in 2026. By 2027, they will start cosmetic governance for elections. Dollar will hit N2500 by 2026, Mark it.. I know you will say that I am an enemy of Nigeria, please go and check back in June 2023, I said $ will hit N1500, nay sayers abused me. Now the curse is on them. |
Reno is irrelevant |
Rapmoney:Fear go let am talk? Igbos will skin him alive, it only online them get mind and mouth. Even in Lagos, he dare not wear a T-shirt with "Igbos -Go back to your Yeast". If he dares it, Igbos go throw him into the Lagoon and use money close the useless case |

kestolove95:I do not want to say that your reasoning is agbadoriscally baterialistic and zombistcally ... pathetic. However, it is your opinion. |
helinues:Nobody took the annulment to court. Except you are referring to another election that happened in Jupiter or Mars. |
A lot has been written and said about June 12. That election was said to be the freeest election in Nigeria democratic journey. However, would we say that June 12 was the fairest electionin Nigeria history? My answer would be NO! Here are my reasons; 1. Option A4: June 12 was based on Option A4. That is the system that allows voters to queue behind the candidate or party of their choice. It behoves transparency and devoid of ballot box snatching. However, political actors were against it because, the open ballot system does not give room for privacy. Hence, if you find yourself queueing behind a loser, you could switch while counting was still on-going. 2. Credible candidates were unecessirily disqualified to pave way for two "amenable" candidates, who were friend and acquaintances to IBB. 3. Both SDP and NRC were Federal Government institutions. Using government institutions for political offices and indeed using civil servants to run those institutions meant that the winner would stiffle the opposition party of funds and survival. 4. Tofa was a mere LGA chairman, who was pitched against a business mogul and celebrated sponsor of Museveni's coup. Hence there was no challenge. 5. IBB did not want to leave office. No matter what anyone like to say, the military did not want to hand over. This informed his decision to strategically position his two friends as candidates of SDP and NRC. Unfortunately, Abiola appears to have reneged on the part of the arrangement, hence the annulment. |
Fubara and PDP should start playing clips of their defection on Rivers Radio and television daily before any news. Soon the foolish commissioners will start saying they did not resign. Wike is just an empty barrel |
