I think that the proper thing to do now is to begin probe of Buhari's administration. Many scams are being unearthed in the last one week since Buhari left office. The unfortunate thing is that the place-holder president lacks the balls to do that.

Point of correction FCT is not a Federating state, but has a status of a state. A state is governed by a Governor and state legislature and judiciary.

The President (akin to Governor of a state) governs FCT by appointing a minister (proxy) to act for him. He CANNOT assume the position of FCT "governor", without 25% votes.
That is the constitution and that is the LAW (QED)

Based on bolded above I believe supreme court or tribunal will discard one of Peter Obi's and Labour Party's prayers relating to this issue of Tinubu being indicted or convicted in the past because it happened over 20 years ago whereas the constitution sets a 10 years limit

Simple fact is that Tinubu was NEVER qualified to govern Lagos based what you pointed out above. So, he violated a bigger constitutional provision which permanently disqualifies him from holding public office in Nigeria. You people no sabi law and consequences of violating laws. Once it proven that he was a druglord, which he was, his Senatorial and governorship offices become null and VOID ab initio. Just like Ben Johnson was stripped of his Olympic gold medal, Tinubu would lose his senatorial and his Excellency appellation. Only a pardon would save him from jail.

He could have given countless responses when the hateful campaign of Peter Obi kept using the drug case to campaign and discredit Tinubu.
He literally gave them the silent treatment such as is advised when a court case is going on to avoid self-implicating.

1. He was not convicted
2. He was not found to deal drugs, he was an accountant that was likely paid with drug money from a client
3. You cannot stand trial for the same offense in two courts in different countries.
4. Out of Jurisdiction - If a crime was committed it was not in Nigeria and no court had prosecuted him for that in Nigeria
