spetsnaz: This year's exercise will be the most transparent many people petitioned army HQ on the lack of transparency in the last exercise especially for dssc. Majority of the people that will head to screening will be on merit, godfathers will have very little influence at this stage they may come in when you pass the exams except your godfather holds a very respectable appointment then maybe he/she may muscle his way in from beginning. Some senior men's candidates have already being dropped from the exams so nothing can be done in such cases only an extremely few select candidates that didn't meet certain requirements were smuggled in and it wasn't a funny process for their godfathers. So Pray, Prepare if it's yours you'll get in. Baba I hail oo. e sure me say some people go don see the list as we de talk. I just hope my kiddo made this first list shaa. It reminds me of university days. There are colleagues you will just call to tell you your results even when faculty board never sit finish. |

It was shiites, later ipob and now lekki protesters. Who knows where it will be next.

Even the left eye that I said is blurry can still see, just that I can't read with it... Lol Please I would prefer you go and have a proper eye examination before going for the screening. Vision problems go beyond seeing things in front of you. Your visual field might be constricted as a result you may find it difficult to see things from the periphery. I wish you well bro. |

ugo4u: Bloody hell. No wonder any soldier you ask e go say if you no come you no go understand Boss man I want to ask, does it mean bullet proof is too much for NA to provide for all men in the theatre? Including helmet. Or is it that I watch too much Hollywood movies. Cos American soldiers in the theatre don't even wear normal uniform. All they need is a verse and bullet proof. In that picture, I can see some head shots that helmet should be able to protect at least for the time being. Check out those soldiers with COAS, there are always with bullet proof. And if there are bullet proof, it should be compulsory for all the soldiers. I don't want to here it's because of the heat cos when there are with their bosses, they wear it like forever. Rip to the fallen heroes. |

OCKEHINDE: Any legal practional candidates in the house? This question is for you. Anybody can also contribute your opinions.
*HERE IS MY QUESTION.
*A woman had a violent quarrel with her husband who then disappeared untraced for a long time. The "witnesses" to the quarrel alleged that she killed him, even though his body was never found (it was felt that she was too clever in hiding the body)* *She was, eventually, arraigned, tried and sentenced.* *She served a strict jail term for the murder. And, after she came out, she found out that her husband was living with another woman.*
*She traced him to the other woman's house and shot and killed him; he died for real this time around! So, she was re-arrested and re-arraigned for the murder of the same person.*
*IF YOU WERE THE NEW JUDGE, will you look at the case as a fresh murder or will you look at it as a crime for which she had already served an appropriate jail term??* *(GIVE REASONS!)*
Let's have your view please. This is murder(fresh). In the first instance, she was erroneously sentenced. Which means if the case is to be reviewed (neglecting the new case) she will be exonerated and possibly compensated(in sane societies). As the judge of the case I will sentence her for the murder. I will just try to be lenient on her. Instead of death sentence I will prolly hand her life sentence or something less. For instance Sergio Ramos who is known to be a harsh defender fowls Diego Costa. But referee mistakingly thought it was Costa(who is also known to be rough) that fowled Ramos and sent him(Costa) off. And this happened when there was no VAR. The ref relied on the assistant ref(witness) for such decision. Then Costa attached Ramos violently afterwards. The referee then recommends Costa for a possible ban by the FA for misconduct. Since Costa has been sent off, it then means he has served a punishment he is not supposed to have served. This should not and will not stop the FA from banning him for some matches even though it can be reduced(for violent conduct). NB: Anger should be managed, for if not managed, you will pay the price for it. P.s: I am not a lawyer neither am I planning to be one. |

Retiring in the Nigerian Army is as simple as ABC. Guess what? You will still be entitled to pension. 2 things can be done. 1. You can refuse to convert if SSC, in that case Lt col should be the highest you can get to. 2. You can decide to fail senior staff qualifying exam or Capt to major written exam. Without this you will end in "Major" rank because no senior staff college for you. I know officers that have used this format. |
