Safitu: TO Break the truth to you. Once a man is 34,35 etc that’s when reality will hit most of you. In our Nigerian culture, if you’re not settled by that age
You are an outcast and there’s something wrong with you You can never hold certain positions of importance and wealth You’re not respected as much People will compare you to your married counterparts You will begin to feel isolated
So many things. So unfortunately life doesn’t just begin at 30 for a man, infact that’s when you will really start to feel the pressure to accomplish and achieve the things you need to do, if you haven’t already: That’s when you will start seeing the achievements your mates have accomplished with their families and you’re still there living baby boy lifestyle. A man can form and play at 20 but once 30,31,32 etc hits and you’re still forming and playing, you will see the way life will brisk right by you and you will be left behind. This is Nigeria, the pressure of marriage hits both genders particularly around 30 plus. My sister forget those achievement wey you dey talk. We are putting man and woman into perspective and you are here telling how I feel if I have not built house or whatever. Who goes to shilo more. Is it men or women. Pls answer. Go to church and preach about marriage and see how attentive they become. Like I said before at 30 a man is just getting started vis-a-vis women. As a man I can tell my younger sisters to find me a wife, can you do same as a woman? You know the truth. |

ebonyggurl: women will learn the tricks too and wear poker faces. Sorry for interrupting the elders. If women continue to wear their poker faces and by the time they turn 30 and above, they begin to feel the pressure, running from church to church. But for men at 30, they are just getting started. You see the difference? I am not trying to imply that women should stop "forming", all I am saying is let's keep "forming" till age 40 and see who wins. |

YOLO I am working on changing that mentality. Tbh it has saved me a lot, judging from the place I lived- Benin city. There, sex is rampant. You call a girl, the next thing, she is asking you "is it just sex you want"? |

ubunja: I can believe you but even you have to admit it's not easy to believe
So you now a hermit No it's not like that. It has no religious connotation. When I was in the university I had female friends who thought I didn't reason them because I had other girls that I was dating. In fact one babe once confronted me in night class saying, I am wicked, I am this and that. When I sought to know why she said so, she told me point blank that the cold she is feeling is because i don't want to help her out- that is by warming her body in the midnight. After that day I promised myself not to go to night class pass 10pm No matter what. |

Romance › Re: Keep The Girl That Like You For Love And The Girl You Like For Lust. Ubunja 2019 by Valleys(m): 7:12pm On Jul 30, 2019 |
Mine was far back in ss2, third term to be precise. I was just 14+. I was staying with my sister who was in ss3. She was writing her ssce that time. One time like that Na im this fine classmate of mine came into the house around 8pm. My sis was outside receiving fresh air. NEPA no dey my area for months. I didn't even know she had already fallen asleep when this babe entered. For the record, she is like 3yrs older than i was. Of course I was one of the smallest boys in my class. When she entered, she asked me to give her my notebook so that she will copy what we learnt that day. I was very serious with writing note in class unlike in the university where all you do is stand Infront of the patients and listen to that long talk from the consultants. That said. I gave her my note, she sat on our reading table while I sat on our room chair reading my book. Once in a while she will come to the place I am sitting to ask me to clarify something for her. Of course my poor hand writing didn't start now. She continued doing this until she was excited, i guess. She sat on my lap and asked me to tell her what I wrote. Oh my goodness, my people stood firm. Immediately she sensed it, she started rubbing me and as a sharp guy that I was, I took over the game. We touched each other to a point I started pulling her pant out. Then she whispered to me to get a condom. I was confused, who dash me condom? Never had anything to do with such. Sensing there was no condom, she gave me one last stroke on my Deek and wore her pant back. Mennn, my "people" was firm for like five minutes before I regained myself. She gave me my first and only kiss up till date.
Now I thank God she didn't allow that sex to happen because anything could have happened (STDs and/or pregnancy) In another thought, I blame myself for not being ready to fuuuk her cos now I have developed apathy towards sex -not women oh. |

Ukoabasi: Please excuse my grammatical structures and concord. I am a 500l student of the Department of Animal Science , Faculty of Agriculture. University of Calabar. My life had been going on efficiently, until I was assigned to the Dean of the faculty of agriculture, university of calabar, as his project student. Being that he is a dean, he said that he will not be chanced to be attending to me, So, He assigned me to his associate professor friend who is 50 years of age. This man now became my supervisor, all the people who have worked with him told me he is a wicked man, this man punishes students all the time, makes students repeat courses and years in my department, doesn’t attend to his project students and above all, most all lecturers fear him. This man seeks to destroy me academics, my first semester seminar course which I started writing in February, this man has refused to attend to me, do corrections in it to enable me to bind the work and submit . This man is giving me a project that will run up to 500000 thousand naira. When I told him that I won’t have money to run the project. He said that I will not graduate. He is always telling me that I will have problems in my project. I have talked to all the christian brethren, my pastor, my parents. I am always going from one church to the other to see a pastor but all to no avail. I have prayed all I can pray, but God is not helping, I had long forsaken all my known sins; I am totally helpless and above all , my friends have left me because of this same issue. I have gone to meet other lecturers, but they are just telling me to do what he says. All the students working with him are facing the same thing. I don’t know if its because of where I come from, because Northern cross riverians do not like people from my state. Now, second semester has resumed and am yet even finish my seminar and start my project. Please, a kindhearted person advice me on what I should do. Report him to servicom |

Edcure1: John Kerry, Jeffery Sessions, current secretary of state Michael Pompeo...and a very long list of names that obviously sound alien to your ignorant self. It's good to know. But then John Kerry that served from 80s to 2013 is understandable. And pompeo as CIA director compare that to a mere minister commissioner in Nigeria. |

I would prefer they prove me wrong than to be disappointed. If this makes me less of a Nigerian, then, all of you that are more Nigerian should go and receive a national honour. |
