Lukas47:A whole lot of obese officers in the military. It's alarming. Especially those in the support services. Office duty makes them lazy. |
@saggitarius01 don't worry yourself, you still have like 5yrs to become a complete bitter feminist. Your response(s) has/have shown why you are where you are in life. You are filled with bitterness when no man has "crushed" your heart. What will happen by the time 2 niggās don chop clean mouth. |
Some people are not happy with this topic. Even before ubunja I never believed in what people call love. Now ubunja just added some spices to it. On a norm I would have lost 10k last week on a female friend that wanted me to supplement her money to buy phone. I almost did but on a second thought I asked her just one simple question-- "what do I stand to gain from all these"? Babe just verse end de call. I just used my 10k play 1.5odds and the rest is history now. |
dukeprince50:You are talking about my monthly allowance in school. Where I want see give woman. Abeg that guy ain't broke. |
ChiefS:Bros, go to any nearby teaching hospital, just enter 2 or 3 departments. Ask them their status as regards accreditation (national and west African college). In my department, our seniors go to a 2nd gen university to learn and prepare for part ii. Why because no accreditation for almost two yrs now. This is one of the first gen universities. If I hear MTN and Glo... After almost 20yrs of mobile Telecom in Nigeria, little or no tech advancement and you are saying something about their workers. Those guys are there to service the companies. How many cities can you get 4G network? Remember the world is now talking about 5G. Do you remember when broadcasting corporation said we will soon Port to digital broadcasting? Have we done that? Pay per view is still foreign to us. Don't just mention banking because majority of our banks are not "healthy". It's just a matter of time you will start seeing it. Go and find out the failure rate of POS across the country. You talked about having a government that is willing... But we the people make up the government. Profs are in government. Medical doctors are in government. Why are they not doing the right things? Because the people get the leaders they deserve. About universities being cheap. Bro, go to German public schools and check their fees. Forget about American universities. The state can afford to subsidize education just like petrol product. Go to oil industry, no advancement at all. We just mine and export. Then buy the refined one on way back. About the boldened, is it not the same universities that don't care about their own students. When I was Uniben, there was a time police shot a student on his way home. Do you know that Uniben deleted his account from their database. They denied him. And you want things to work? Because those in government have finished enriching themselves. Like I said before Nigeria was not meant to progress. Go and check history. This is a fraud called Nigeria. So do not expect that education will work. The bold step should be to seek people's consent as regards the government they want. If not there will be no patriotism. Without this no government establishment will progress. Look DSS, they serve the government in power. Nnpc is almost useless. And the list goes on... |
CotenantNIG:We have all it takes to be one of the strongest nation in the world but tribalism and religion intolerance is the biggest hindrance to it The day Nigerians stop calling themselves by their tribal affiliation or religion we would move forward .. Politicians are using this to divide us whenever something doesn't go their way and make it feel one tribe hates another tribe Everything that's happening is politics been played wrongly , for example sowore wants to lead a revolution but northern politicians have interpreted it as a coup against the north just to make the south look bad and hold on to power whereas we know it's not true I discovered that every Nigerian tribe have it's own strength and weakness but we exploit each other weakness, so has to prove we are stronger than each other whereas it's not suppose to be so When we succeed as a tribe we celebrate it so as to belittle the other tribe so has to show our tribe is better than the other tribe causing problem for the whole country What all this breed is bitterness and jealousy ,we don't need all this at all I can't bliv Nigerians would be happy when one tribe something I'll happens to them ,I can't bliv we are happy and call ourselves name when someone is caught for drugs abroad or when one of us is used for rituals I can't bliv Nigerians youths would be going to internet to search for news so has to belittle each other tribes so has to prove who commits crimes the most The whole world doesn't know igbo Yoruba or Hausa all they know is Nigeria[/quote]We are already one of the strongest nations in the world (that's if you are talking about the strongest 150 Nations in the world. One thing we fail to realize is that Nigeria was not formed to prosper. Rather, she was formed to make some certain countries prosper. Right from pre independent era, Nigeria has always been a fraud. It is not the fault of the politicians(minor) but that of the people(major). Remember the people go on to become politicians. Remember Arab spring? It was started by the people. Look at sowore, some peeps from the Eastern part think he is fighting his on course. And the list goes on... |
HigherEd:Until this brings any fruit, it's just like any other in Nigerian universities. About BBN, I am not that type. I know what I am telling you as someone who works in a tertiary hospital of a supposed first generation uni. |
So funny how we masturbate about these rankings. Universities (esp American Unis) are ranked based on based on so many things (like the ones you wrote up there) including achievements. Things like Nobel prize and faculty breakthroughs. Nigerian Unis are nothing to write home about. Even covenant, how has all those their research papers benefited Nigeria. Let's not even talk the world. They are mostly abstract for the sciences or the humanities. To develop a nation, you need to up your game in science and technology which Nigeria (covenant inclusive) is not ready for. Imagine Nigeria is faced with insurgency since 2009 no school has been able to produce a metal, as in metal detecting device (correct me if I am wrong). Look at our highways? What happened to highway engineering? Glo network! |
Foodforthought:How did you know? You must be a prophet. |
Nairaland is for children(on average). What did you expect in the first instance? Especially romance section. Some sections like career, auto ... are ok. But then, I don't think it will be nice to convince you to stay. Just do that which you think is good for you. |
7victor:Visit different departments in udus and the rest may just become history |
Three phones at once |
It reminds me of those days when men were boys(little children). After talking to a girl about friendship, when she finally agrees, you will now be worried as to what next to do. Sometimes you will just walk up to the girl and tell her that you have changed your mind. |
Chichinaija:Just kill yourself, then if he kills himself it means he loves you. joke! |
From kaduna to Abuja by road and I will thank God for saving me from the hands of kidnappers. |
In Uniben(faculty of agriculture), if you don't get up to the required attendance, no exam for you. This will obviously lead to poor Gp. Guy you need to examine yourself. I have friends who where given same zoology. Even though they didn't like it, they put in their best and had good grades. In fact some had first class(truth). Zoology is a biological course, if I may ask, what course did you go for in the first place?. Or is it that you are one those who are not meant to be in the university but are there because of peer/family pressure. |
There's a difference between being at least comfortable and a billionaire. Your father was prolly a money-minded person. This doesn't mean we men should hurry into marriage with you ladies only to be told "common diapers you can't afford" when things don't improve. However, different strokes for different folks. |
peggywebbs:Bros/babe, but the first person he quoted called the pastor a rapist. Then you jumped in, kind of to defend the earlier statement that called the accused a rapist. On what ground are you basing your attack on him. Just asking. |
Na to go buy 2 PhD be that o. It's so cheap. What a country. But wait o, the nscdc official blamed it on the importance attached to paper certificate. Isn't that what Nigeria wants. |
pashiano: DaddyMorenike:Pls everyone be guided, this is a joke. |
Who do you think is providing services for military men in the north? No go there oo. No part of Nigeria is free from aristos. |
I smell serious arrangement here. |
Saying the truth is like cooking with bitter leaf. As my guy will say, "Dey your dey". If as a lady, you want to marry @35, I wish you well. |
People like the op are loved by the ladies. They open office for their head. They hate people like ubunja and co because they are always ahead of the game. There was no lessons learnt here because he will surely fall prey again. |
They are going to "work" why their lawyers are here defending them. Shamelessness has taken over. |
Heavance:Thanks |
Bros make money and marry the younger babes. Leave those in their 30s to continue going to Shiloh. Let me give you an insight. Go to universities and look for the girls in their finals. Or you can look for Corp members. These are the ones that will behave well. Majority of them know what's soping. |
ubunja:Apologies boss for letting these women derail these threads. One thing I found out with women is that they like to twist fact to their opinion. Imagine someone saying that a man cannot reproduce at 50 when she has seen 70yrs old men marrying 20yrs old girls. I won't respond to their illogical comments again. |
Safitu:OK, accepted, that both sexes are under pressure but one is even facing more pressure from nature. From menarche at the age of probably 14 depending, you ladies begin to shed your eggs. Remember it doesn't replenish. And the earlier you start shedding them in the name of ovulation and mensuration the earlier you approach your menopause. This is not same with men. In fact baring any health challenges, men can run matter even up to 80yrs of age. However, it tends to decline. But that of the woman ends at around 45 depending. In fact some women get to menopause at 40. So tell me who feels the pressure more, is it the one that has peer pressure only or the one that has peer pressure plus nature to contend with? |
Even though I believe it's government's responsibilities to provide these basic things, i ask, what happened to community effort? I asked because in my time in primary school, we once stayed under the tree to learn. In my village(no electricity and road) the adults normally contribute some money to provide some of these basics. In fact that effort has propelled my small village to produce doctors, first class engineers and many elite members of the society. As I speak no electricity and road network in that "primitive village". |
brother break it down please
