In the spirit of giving back, here's my POE story...

I arrived New York about 10days ago, but enjoyment and the cold no gree me type since. Lol.

I flew Etihad, because that was the best deal I got for my travel dates asides from Arik. I didn't wanna use arik.
I had a 7 hours layover at Abu-Dhabi, and with the US - PRECLEARANCE located at Abu-Dhabi airport, my POE was at Abu-Dhabi.

I was a bit skeptical about flying Etihad, cos of the horror stories I had heard about POE and the airline itself, but I decided to take the risk, and the first leg of the journey was good, really good.

The flight from Lagos to Abu-Dhabi was excellent, in - flight services on point! POE at Abu-Dhabi was a breeze! Was just asked the basic questions, how long I was gonna stay, which state in the US I was headed and all, biometrics taken, and Gbam, I was stamped in for 6 months.
Flight from Abu-Dhabi to Newyork was very good as well, that I didn't even realise when the 13 hours 50 minutes journey was over. I got to New-York as a domestic arrival, baggage pick up was swift and I found my way out....

New York City has been good so far! Enjoying my stay here, and counting down to my return date. Last week was terrible though as the cold was crazy coz of the hurricane.

Ermmm... end of my story, goodnight from here!

Meanwhile am back to United Lagos State to enjoy my leave as plan B. Kindly recommend other ways of enjoying Agidi and Jollof rice.

Sorry but to be very honest you REALLY messed this up.
You used THIEF agent to prepare your documents but you clearly did not read them to learn what had been written.
You told the V.O. that you were using papers written by someone else.
You said Orlando Florida as a destination which has enough attractions to keep you busy for months but then state two destinations near New York
Over a thousand miles away!

All this rubbish now forms part of your record if you try again with a totally different story they may even suspect fraud.
You need to spend some time and straighten out your life and story.
Any application again now will be wasting money.

The same coy have built a good record with my coy for over a decade
They could have a wark staff who handled my form, (every firm does at lease one).

For a true tourist if you decide to visit 10 different places is not a crime as far as you can afford it and your leave at work can accommodate the days to cover all the places.

This second form i filled myself.
One thing i noticed again is that the white paper which is for approval is really thin meaning the vo has really given out visas.
Everything that happens is for a reason. I accept this as an opportunity God is about to reveal. I cross my heart i will be very generous to share the good news when it happens.

The VO knows my coy is a very big and reputable coy only a few at my age (30) could attain the position of an Executive. Mean while my HR got a call. And they know in my coy you can't leave the coy untill after 5 years of every renewed 5 yeras contract. And i am in the 3rd phase of another 5 years which after successfully working for 2 phases you can leave anytime.

I stand to be corrected. I guess the first time i was banned for 5 years. Because if the vo said in a couple of years means 2 years. That is 2013-2017.

To show the VOs, don't really care how much money one has in his/her account. They have their reasons.
But what I don't get is why you were told to try again in a couple of years... are you sure you heard right? Or its the heat of the denial that kinda deafened you. Or were you banned the first time? Like someone mentioned above, would you mind posting your first denial transcript? Let's see if we can put 2 and 2 together. And what year was this denial.

My advice, you can just try European countries or even Canada (but the visa wait time na die! ). Or you might have even visited these places since you said you have enough travel history. You have the money like you said, so tour the world and make yourself happy. Whatever the case, just give America a chill.

Note: a reputable coy filled my Ds 160 form and i was carried along all through. But i guess there was so many typographical error. And the Coy said no specific travel plan, but i responded to the vo yes i had specific travel plans.

This is rarely used, at least from transcripts and info on the internet. Could that be a clue as to why you were denied? Probably the VO doesn't expect that your circumstances (at least what could make her change her impression) is likely to change in the usual 90days minimum wait period to reapply. Could it be your age, marital status, family relationships juxtaposed with other things? Please bear in mind that these are just wild guesses and I don't have the intention to pry or insult in anyway. It is well.

The vo really felt bad for denying me visa. But then he has to. I think they sometimes don't belive that young minds could achive so much (with proof). It is not just my day. Because all questions were dully answered. But then am not that young. I graduated at the age of 18 and have worked for same company for 12 years which the vo him self confirmed. Mehn their background check is real you can't hide anything.

Hello Allen, unfortunately we do not give interview candidates prepared responses to VO's questions. All the questions asked are based off what you filled in your DS-160 form and nothing more. Go prepared and be as honest as possible while being articulate in stating your case.

One last thing, try no to be nervous, just an interview that you already have the answers to. Good luck
