Please i have a very delicate question,

Is is possible to get a solar and inverter only system without battery?

The function of this is to use only solar during the day and switch on nepa/grid at night without having any backup battery in place.

It's important to note that the PV should be the only one working during the day with drawing power from nepa,
And it should be automated in a way that if sun goes down or more power is required it can tap small from grid

Why I'm saying this, is so we don't need to start disconnecting nepa during the day,......

it is possible,but u need a premium hybrid inverter like deye,with more than enough solar panels. deye hybrid inverter has such automations.

This is my point. This is Nigeria where there is 0 safety enforcement. There is a company in the west - underwriters laboratories. Their sticker means a product has been thoroughly tested and reviewed and can be used safely.

Do any of these lithium batteries have a UL sticker?
You have no ones word that they are safe.

The fact that people are putting them in wooden boxes means nothing. We know people who drive without seat belts for years also.

all lithium are not the same bro. i will advise u research about lifepo4 lithium. thanks.

lithium batteries are far more dangerous than any other kind of rechargeable battery technology

poorly packed, stored, designed batteries are at risk of thermal runway - spontaneous and very high temperature combustion
when you see a swollen battery pack, thats what is happening, an it should be disposed of immediately

we have fake/low quality alkaline batteries, NI CD, VRLA, Deep cycle - etal - but the low quality translates to shorter runtime and charge capacity
low quality Lithium batteries translate to MASSIVE FIRE HAZARD

all those videos of people with phones or battery packs on fire - thats whats happening - poor quality lithium batteries

amazon allows people to sell all sorts of dodgy stuff - but they draw the line at products with non UL lithium ion batteries
airlines do not allow any non segway hoverboards for the same reason.

so when i see batteries that are already unsafe - then packaged in a combustible box

not all lithiums are unsafe. there are many types of lithiums and lifepo4 lithium is the safest of them all.(try read up about it) it is not dangerous like other lithuim chemistry. i couple lifepo4 lithium cells only, it doesn't heat up like u put it, this is not 18650 lithium li-ion. watch youtube videos, many people has been using wooden boxes with it for years. and i created more than enough ventilation on the bottom and by the sides

Might actually suffer from excess heat due to improper ventilation. I think they should have considered and analyzed that in their design though.

i used thick appropriate wire guage, this is lifepo4 lithium battery cells, it does not suffer any excess heat, it not 18650 li-ion lithium cells. there is enough ventilation on the bottom and by the sides. thanks
