How can u order for gcms note when u file is still been processed? All u can do now is wait for cic to process or another option is u withdraw ur application, by doing so means denia. I will advise u wait to hear from cic and if ur application has exceeded the processing time then send them case enquiry mail or so then wait for their reply. Best of luck .

It's 100% possible, you can order for gcms file while your application is being processed.

Original passport request this morning. After a denial, to all those who got delayed, please address the Visa officers concern in a detailed SOP and provide all necessary documents to support your situation. God would guide you through. I applied on July 4th.

I got problem with an application fee paid with Master card, so the school is demanding that i should purchase *Money order* Please how do i go about it?
I have no knowledge of money order.

The University representative that contacted ask me to purchase the money order and send it to the Graduate school address but he never provided the account number and name, i asked him but he told me it's not needed.

Please kindly inform with any information you have on money order in Nigeria.

Bro, The master card u used for the payment is it your's why was it disputed after payment? apparently the school suspected fraudulent transaction that is why they requested for money order not CC anymore. i hope you sort it out. goodluck

Hey guys, let me quickly mention this. I seem to be getting lots of questions regarding career change and time frames.

Visa officers don't use their mind to approve or refuse applications. They are guided by an ACT.( you see this mentioned in most correspondence from them) which also guide their discretion. They can be dragged to a law court if their judgement is out of these provisions. While we trust God and pray for a positive outcome, we should endeavour to CHOOSE RIGHTLY to avoid giving them any reason to test the microphone with our application. They are humans to and also trained to scrutinize applications especially coming from Nigeria where majority have intention to migrate under the guise of study.

Yes it's, after that you get to eligibility review then approval.

It's during the background check CIC normally request for more document or contact you if there's an issue of misrepresentation in application.

Your background is strong. Based on given information I can not see an obvious reason for refusal ( except for well establishment in career and no further need for study to improve it?? Not sure though). It may very well end up being a silly reason (somebody got rejected because bank statement did not have a stamp on 2nd page!) which can be fixed in 10 min but you will have no idea what it is unless you get your Caips.

Background check involves,

1 documentation check
2 If applicant has been refused visa before or have had any immigration related issues.
and so many other tins.

Expect medical mail after this stage, But it takes time to be completed not all take such time anyway.

Any application without upfront medicals will be showing "we are processing your background check"

After background check if all things been equal they will send you medical mail while they are reviewing your eligibility, if everything works out fine during your eligibility check next approval. tell your friend to take a chill pile, after this stage medical mail will come. my 2 cent

Exactly. Background check alone consume most of the processing time.

Review of eligibility" is the last stage after that approval. For upfront medicals, background check starts immediately medical is passed. mine reads "we are processing your background check" background check takes time because it involves many things, I stand to be corrected.

I have heard nothing about a change in status for any June applicant to " We are now reviewing your eligibility".. Fingers crossed shaa.. I got a mail on Friday on my account and when I checked I was certified ineligible. I know this means that my visa has been denied. I paid CAD20,000 a year school fees, SOA of spouse was 25m (in and out 100m), I also submitted personal SOA of 2m and 10,000USD. hubby reviewed my strongly worded SOP , didn't apply with kids. All relevant documents submitted.

Please when will I be able to get my passport. I guess I will see the reasons then.

My people how una dey....Longest time. I'm indeed very sorry for being MIA.

I have been superbusy at work lately and a lot of have happened in the past few weeks, my visa application delay being one of them. I give thanks to God. I didn't learn my lesson from my previous refusal apparently . I took a calculated risk in using a program that is not directly related or consistent with my previous study to apply for trv. Despite the patent inconsistency. Before I applied for visa, i was given an offer of admission for a program that is directly related to my previous study but because of fees and no hope of funding from the program, I opted for another program that is cheaper but not directly related to my previous study. I knew the risk, yet I took it. It was plain stupidity but I learnt my lesson. Although I managed to convince myself that the two programs are connected, however, it appears the VO does not share my view as enshrined and contained in my sop hence purpose of visit. This does not in any way undermine the importance of an sop. After I submitted my application, It became dawn on me that I messed up, I should have applied with the LLM program notwithstanding the fee. More importantly since a colleague of mine was earlier refused because of the same program. So it is fair to say that I kinda saw it coming

Now I have learnt my lesson.....never take risk whether calculated or not, the VO may not understand the formula you used in arriving at the conclusion when it comes to Canadian Study permit application.

I have moved on sha ......EE is the new deal for me.

To all those whose applications have been approved, I congratulate and celebrate you. Particularly my brother from another womb osemigho, God bless you abundantly my dear friend. This is the beginning of new achievements and success to come. I'm really proud of you baba. .
