The Question came into my mind while i was on a Trip. You are very Correct, it will take a Parabolic path, it will move horizontally at the speed of Light but at a Point it will start descending vertically at 9.8m/s^2 which is acceleration due to Gravity. I set the Force Ma= Gm1m2/r^2;The masses cancel, this shows that Acceleration due to gravity does not depend on Mass. That also shows that Special Relativity does not have any role to play as i expected since the initial speed will be the Speed of Light and Einstein's Theory of Special Relativity shows that as speed increases towards the speed of light, mass increases.
