Its just common to see a history student wasting his time memorizing about the great wall of China instead of studying how to build a wall(or a railway) in his country.

very true especially Togo.That country have been really exploiting both the two biggest markets in ECOWAS.They have established a free port system so their port is currently more busy and takes more imports than even the Lagos port and due to it's strategic location right in between Ghana and Nigeria, they easily smuggle over 90% of these imports to both Nigeria and Ghana because they barely have a 5 million market themselves and much more they are a low income country so ask yourself,where do all these imports which are even more than the biggest port in Nigeria have go to?.And Benin too have been doing same hence totally crippling the infant industries in Nigeria.Due to their free port policies,the goods are very cheap to import and sell and are of low quality.The local manufacturers can't compete with that.About Glo,they had a very bad plan as you just said.They were too eager and happy to enter into the Ghanaian market they were blinded by the hijacked market by MTN,Vodafone,Airtel and Tigo.Even Airtel and Tigo couldn't stand the competition so they had to merge and form the AirtelTigo network.About Dangote,the cement market have been monopolized by Ghacem for decades we got soo tired.Ghacem were even controlling cement prices and could declare national cement shortage.Now the cement market is somehow level although Ghacem is still far far ahead and in charge.Diamond cement which is also a local company is giving ghacem a run for their moneyDangote cement has still not found a stable ground in Ghana yet although they have the potential.
