aadoiza: I seriously doubt there's any country in the world more corrupt than Nigeria. They may have their own problems and some highly-placed people who are corrupt but that would be nothing compared to systemic corruption, which is what we're grappling with. Well there are even on the corruption index, Russia case is very bad, if you follow the news recently an anti corruption activist who expose corruption was arrested and framed by the police of possessing drugs... Most Russians have dash board cams because police there deliberately create and accident and then accuse the victim of being responsible leading to them paying bribes. My point is that a corrupt leader should really be the last person sermonising about corruption. |

As if Russia is not a far more corrupt nation led by a president who has amass so much wealth. The truth is many people just deflect from their own fallings by pointing hand against others. It is quite sad if you read the sort of crap that goes own in Russia. |

Besides, Abia a PDP controlled state promised to pay #42,000 as minimum wage.
PDP increased the minimum wage to 18k.
Now crawl back into your enclave. [/s] PDP should ordinarily encourage its controlled states to support a higher minimum wage rather they avoid this because even their states are finding it hard to actually pay salaries.

jayfolarin: HSBC (master money launderers) and UBS (Switzerland, Oga patapata of safe havens for looted funds e.g Abacha, babangida etc). Fuckd up banks that have absolutely no use to the common folks on the street.
Besides politicians and oil magnates that constantly seek easy ways to move stollen monies outside nigeria does anyone know of any hardworking Nigerian banking with HSBC or UBS? Buhari might have failed in very many ways but I am MOST happy with how he has made life difficult for the looting and thieving status quo!
PDP and his thieving elites is a NO-NO! Buhari is wayyyyyyyy better than this bastardss.

[s] Reference: Will you shut this brazen stupidity. People who have what you need are telling you what they want and you are talking trash. You cannot pay your workers. You borrow to build your roads thus mortgaging your childrens future and here are people willing to partner and you are insulting.
You think investors don't have conditions and will just throw their money into any hole they find. If you go to a bank to borrow won't the bank give you conditions. If you borrow dollar will you repay naira. If I told you to bring money to invest in my business and I told you that you cannot get it back, what will you say. Did MTN bring naira into this country in 2001.
If this silly government cannot sit up and clean its investment house then it should hang up a sign that clearly reads "closed for business" and we should go a borrowing. Thr same conditions these multinationals give us is the same they give to every country they invest in. Nigeria cannot expect to be treated differently.
If this government is concerned about capital flight they should turn their attention to multinational contrators who come briefcase in hand and are awarded multibilkion dollar contracts to offer services we have not been able to localise in sixty years of independence. Some of these contrators came into Nigeria in the seventies and eighties and have laid down to skewer the economy being a constant feature on our annual budgets while ferrying scarce forex back home. The government has no problems withthese since their slices of the pie are guaranteed but because investors don't 'shake body' they are subjected to frustrating, vindictive practices and policies.
Continue down to the path of destruction with jaudiced thinking . Shey strike is coming. You will beg for investment at any condition. He said American investors have issues with how policies are made and changed, noting that it has the capacity to discourage investors into the country. He cited regulatory issues, such as the one involving MTN, which had led to the directive for the telco to return cash allegedly ferried out of the country without recourse to laid down procedures.
The envoy said it has the capacity to discourage any investor as there seems not to be a clear-cut obedience to rule of law to protect investors.

CilicMarin: Ever since this unnecessary hullabaloo about a Muslim-Muslim ticket by the APC in Kaduna started, some questions keep crossing my mind anytime I read about the outcry in some quarters.
Consequently, I am confused and at the same time disappointed by vain emotions being fueled by some people instead of going down to plan on how to vote the Candidate/party that "balanced" his nomination.
On this, I ask the following questions:
We keep hearing on the Social media how unpopular Elrufai is Kaduna, that he can't win any election there etc. Then why can't the opposition seize this opportunity to vote him out?
Why are they crying over an own goal by the APC/Elrufai?
Did Elrufai violate any section of the Constitution?
Are there no longer 97 other parties in Kaduna who have Christian Deputy candidates, why the fixation on Elrufai? Is there something else, we don't know?
Have they conceded defeat to APC even before the first Ballot is cast?
lalasticlala Mynd44
Can we have a healthy debate? It is just bitter politics, you have a choice, simply vote who you want instead of making noise about a candidate you had no interest in voting. That is how SE tried blackmailing PMB into taking their son as his VP, when they had no intention of actually voting for PMB. Thank Goodness APC saw through their blackmail and choose Osinbaba. Today we are better for it. Politics is very simple, choose and live with your choice |
