stop d hate! D Croatia that Argentina won is it ref? D Saudi Arabia that beat Argentina is it ref? It's normal to have your preferences but it's a shame to hate on someone. I'm a diehard United fan, but right from time I like Messi even though Ronaldo played for us n even broke the barrier of a player from EPL winning ballon d'or. He gave us fond memories; we love him, he left when he's in his peak going to Madrid to shatter records (no love lost) even though it hurts seeing him leave then.
As for Messi, it is a normal thing not to like him cos he had broken our hearts (TWO UCL finals). I always love and appreciated his contribution to football. Watching him is magical just like a work of art. The only thing I didn't like about him is that he's in Barcelona. Most united n Barca fans are not friends.
As fans of any club, We always want to see best, he has played his part.
One of the things that has made people like Argentina is not always about Messi, for years they always have a star-studded side even for Ps2 grin

One thing to know n like about this present Messi is hardwork; He now marks, dive into tackles not waiting for people to do it for him. He leads by example as a captain.
As for Ronaldo, even though most united fans don't like how it ended recently, we love m appreciate his work for football n d world. We wish him all the best. If wishes were horses, we would have wanted him to face Messi in the finals.
All the same football is all about teamwork, Messi n Ronaldo can't do it alone, if they can they should play alone v11. It's a great thing to have witnessed both of them, the best for you may not be the best for me. As for me, I'll take Messi any day any time. He is my favourite player, the best in the world and the greatest of all time.
This Sunday regardless of who wins today, everybody deserves to win. In 2014,they played well in the tournament but unluckily lost in Extra time. They haven't played as explosive this time around but they always find a way. On Sunday, we hope and pray they win

I'm short of words to describe Messi, he is something else, he has been playing sublime passes, dragging players out of position and what has surprised me the most is: Messi is diving into tackles which is unusual. He is everywhere....his movement for the 3rd goal is something else. It's a privilege to witness this greatness; I thought when Mbappe turned up n knocked them last world cup was the end but we've had one last dance. Let's forget sentiments and appreciate him regardless of who you prefer. If Brazilian Ronaldinho bitter rivals n sworn enemies will watch n appreciate by clapping on LIVE TV we too should do better. Expected a very defensive Croatian display today with little chances but this game has gone well, 2nd half will open up well, having d pace n craft of Di Maria, d game go sweet kiss

It hasn't been easy at all, Mexico almost killed the dream if not for Messi's individual brilliance, against Netherlands the moment d Dutch scored one Argentina survived to reach extra time, if d Dutch had played half of how they ended the game they would have won. Against Saudi Argentina played very well but lost. That's the game. As much I support them, forget all the noise you hear. This semis won't be funny but we HOPE to scale through . When ref was adding TEN huge minutes for nothing v Netherlands none of you complained. Croatia didn't lay a glove on Brazil, they were lucky cos Brazil thought it was their birthright, Argentina mean business. This is our cup! Past Argentine teams had looked very good on paper but this team doesn't look inspiring but are equally efficient.

the referee lost control of the game, truth is players need to be sanctioned for their conduct sometimes. Players crowding refs put massive pressure on them. As much as I support Argentina and like Messi as a player, it is not his fault that the ref didn't give him a yellow for a blatant handball. Nobody is above the law.
Argentina won we move but there are more controversial on field issues to deal with. For a start, nobody died on that field for them to add TEN extra minutes.
