Why do most Nigerians feel they need to change their accent when they speak with a foreigner? Nigerian accent is rated as one of the sexiest in the world. People should learn to embrace it.

Actually with our accent they find it difficult to catch some of the words we say, so we just have to put some phonetics to make them understand better

Following the usual end of years prophecies as characteristic of Nigerian preachers.. prophecying various prophesies..
My question is, how come no preacher saw the covid19 coming; a problem that is crippling the whole world is too big to go unnoticed if truly they see the future and prophesy(or predict) things about things.
