Guys something sensitive happened. I don't know if na me dey overthink am o, but let me know your view on this.

I picked a guy around Igbo Efron to ado road. Very close to destination, I picked another trip and the rider was already calling, so I was in a hurry. When we got to destination, I ended the ride and the charge was 8k. The guy asked for details, I called my opay account, and as usual, the payment sounded from opay. I didn't even check the amount, I zoomed off to the other pick up, while waiting for the rider, I checked the transaction, I found out the guy sent 80k instead of 8. I quickly called him back because I had called his direct line when I arrived. I was surprised he didn't pick my call on direct line, but he immediately called me back on WhatsApp. I told him he made a mistake and he should send his details for refund, he said I shouldn't worry that we will use it to run another ride whenever he wanted to go out. I was shocked but insisted, because I no dey do offline with guys I don't really know..My rider came and I left. I chatted him on WhatsApp, he keep reading without a word, of I call his direct line, he won't pick because me I want to either chat him or call so I can record for evidence. But he only call on Whatsapp. Na so I Borne.

So today, he called and said I should come take him to mainland, I immediately told him I am fixed, and again, I told him to send his account for refund, he insisted although softly that I shouldn't worry. I never see this kind person before o, Andi am so reluctant to have anything to do with him. What do you think guys?

Saying weather doesn't matter is where you goofed bro.

dru23:
If you really want to protect your engine

Mobil 1 10w40 high mileage is what you are supposed to be using. 10w40 engine oil are designed for older vehicles in mind... This is a Fact

We have cars in the USA on e hailing platform that uses 0w20 . Plz don't tell me Yankee weather is different from Nigeria weather.....

When you buy quality engine oil u don't have to worry..

U can also use 0w30 instead of 0w20.

At the end of the day baba Mobil 1 10w40 or well known brand will be a perfect choice. High mileage specifically .. 10w40 Full synthetic not semi synthetic

Let's us be guided.. If these oil matter spill for debate. I will win the debate.

I dey tell u
Especially the sudden surge in the number of MRS, na water many people buy wey dey think
Say na dangote fuel.

tobby98:
Get it from reputable Mobil filling stations on major highways/roads like the one at Ahmadu Bello Way, Awolowo Way, the one on Ozumba Mbadiwe and Ikeja. Those Mobil stations inside close, streets and off roads mostly sell fake oil/palm oil...Just like for MRS, all are selling for the price of 739, but not all have complete meters, the ones with complete meters are only but a few like the one on Ahmadu Bello Way is very complete, one on that Festac Access road, the one on the road to Ojota to mention but a few. This observation is as a result of experience and experiments.

This one don smoke Cana on a Sunday 😂😅

dru23:
I go talk am now with my full chest now .. Hardex na poor man oil. I talk am come beat me for my house in Yankee.... grin

First of all you e hailing drivers are supposed to be using high mileage oil . Any car that has over 75k miles is considered high mileage. The benefits of high mileage oil is to protect your engine and the oil seals. High mileage oil is specifically formulated for older cars.. And the also the viscosity is a little bit thicker to offer more protection.. it is not recommended to use high mileage oil on a car that is under 75k miles...this is to show you that high mileage is highly formulated for older engine...
I explained to you that my daily driver infiniti G25x has over 204k miles and I roughly do 20k miles a year. The engine is has quiet as a new engine. This is due to high mileage Mobil 1 . My car no dey short oil and I dey change am every 10k Miles. Your hardex cheap oil can't do that. I have not seen an Hardex oil with high mileage formula...

Now if you really want to protect your engine because of old engine.. Mobil 1 has 10w40 and 10w30 all in high mileage. These vicosity are formulated for older vehicles and would be perfect for e hailing cars with longer intervals....

Hardex no get this kind formula especially in high mileage. And if it does you should be using it

This time around I dey shade you and that nonsense oil you call hardex.. instead make you buy better oil make you save money and get rest of mind.. na Hardex you dey buy grin you fit use hardex on a rolls Royce car or better cars that cost millions....

Make all of you come for me .. I dey ready..

MOBIL 1 USA BIG PASS HARDEX

Dikemover:
Is this business really profitable? My brother want to get a Nigeria used Corolla cost about 4.5m for me can 1 pay back his money in 2 years? His not adding any profit just the money he spend in getting the car for me. I'm currently doing a driving job of 120k monthly with no off day so I actually work Monday to Sunday with a Lebanese man, he gives me off anytime he likes. Pls I really need advice because I'm planning to resign from the job next month ending should I take the car? Or continue my work. I'm a very hard working person I just want to know if I will meet up with his payment consider that I also have family to feed if I take the car, pls advise is need I can also bear any kind of insult thank you all
BusinessRe: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Vela01: 6:04pm On Jan 18
As simple as this comment is, it's exactly the summary of the point many of us have been trying to make.

Like what normal person deliberately want traffic for the sake of making money.

Mental health, car engine ware, fuel consumption, health threat to the driver etc.

Offcourse, ridiculous offer and prices MOSTLY happen on indrive where riders are allowed to ridiculous reduce price to the lowest, it one of the reasons why I avoid the App, I only use to destination when going home.

Jamie90:
Just to wade in, I realized traffic burns fuel and stresses one’s mental health. I try to avoid traffics but I avoid ridiculous prices twice more. I would go to a place that has 50% surge, if ETA is twice what it should be.

One thing I vowed never to try is to belittle myself by accepting ridiculous fare price. I would rather blow 70km empty.
BusinessRe: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Vela01: 2:54pm On Jan 18
The way you dey avoid traffic, na same way I dey avoid the Molue agbero, e just dey call my name up and down looking for who he go drag into waiting in traffic for hours.

People don't even care about their health, it's just the money.
As a man, excessive driving dey cause prostrate cancer because of long range of sitting.

It's my custom, after every trip, while waiting to pick another, I'm out of the car either standing on stretching.
Na him agbero dey look for long traffic because of money😂😂

Mentality different Sha

Happy Sunday everyone

XGhost:
I abhor traffic like a plague and it's well documented in some of my posts. I don't need traffic to make money.
That's burning your candle at both ends
BusinessRe: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Vela01: 6:22am On Jan 18
For where? Indrive na yao Yao app ma. You can only work with the bonus.
You only get money on your App with Uber or Bolt.

2RightHands1Coc:
Can I withdraw money from my indrive app straight to bank account
BusinessRe: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Vela01: 7:18pm On Jan 16
If you ask me, this is not bad, that's about #355/km. and by that time, you're driving against traffic. By the time you get to ikoyi, you'll definitely see better surge trip back because it's the rush hour.

Yes, acceptance rate matter, but not as dangerous on Uber as it is on bolt.
100% ignore trips you're not comfortable with.

Azertise:
Good evening bosses, I greet una. About uber, do they show the price net like bolt or it's before commission? And is acceptance rate important?
Like the ride below should I have taken it if my car burns N100/km for fuel?

BusinessRe: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Vela01: 2:33pm On Jan 15
You dey always say 9ja is this and that, shit hole here and there, but same you want them to close coastal road for your selfish interest so you can make more money. You see there's no difference btwn you and the ones you're abusing, it means if you have the chance to be in government, you'll deliberately put people into hardship as long as it favors you.

Like I said, na Molue you supposed dey drive or make you dey oshodi dey cut ticket.

Everything isn't about money, you don't even think of having soft life while making you money.
People like us, wey love soft life and are not selfish love it the way it is.
Enjoyable rides while still making the cash.
I took a ride this morning from Airport to Agungi, oh, how I love the ride, engaged in beautiful conversation with the couple riders, smooth drive, and cool cash, an agbero like you can't relate because riders go just keep mute once you don open Molue mouth😃🤣😂

Kundus for you👐

Kumuyiii:
Lol you be werey, i prefer a bit of traffic... I don't know about you, but i hate when someone pays 3000 4000, na wetin dey make them look uber drivers less, lol imagine taking a 2500 trip, what's that? .. I'll sit in traffic if that means you pay over 18k to wer I'll go without traffic for 6500... Besides, the traffic wasn't that bad, 1hr:15mins from ajah to vi-17k.....sometimes 20 something k... Engine wear na engine, regardless of traffic, so what's the logic? I make significantly more with traffic. But i won't blame you, na uber you dey use, so you no understand... What I'm saying is for indrive. In ur bid to just talk, you fail to think critically... When there was traffic, it kept more drivers occupied for longer thereby causing surge, now everywhere is free, drivers plenty, causing y'all to take dumb trips, demand and supply, simple economics applied. No one likes traffic, but in this field, it is necessary evil.
BusinessRe: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Vela01: 12:45pm On Jan 15
Which will you prefer? Traffic and spend more hours in traffic which means you burn more fuel and more wear on your engine.
Or straight road less pay which will easily be the same profit if properly analyzed, car and the driver are less stressed.

I say this guy go don drive Molue before😃😃
Na MC oluomo mentality he get😃😃

One love bro👐

Kumuyiii:
Lol what's the correlation between the 2 things? Traffic creates surge(most times) and better price overall, so what are you saying? Prior to opening coastal road, i dey take 16-20k to vi from ajah, every morning... And it wasn't October /nov/December.... Just normal months... Now to see 10k na by God's grace.
BusinessRe: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Vela01: 1:34pm On Jan 14
Bro, honestly, many people don't know what it means to be a "Billionaire".
Asin, it so irritating, you go tell person like Obi cubana to relocate abroad?
You don't know what Billions mean?

To even be a billionaire, it's means you have chain of sure businesses that gives you money a daily basis. Na that one you dey compare with paycheck because you want to live abroad. Abeg, make Nigeria win Morocco tonight, na only that fit ake me forgive all the ignorance I've seen here, if not😃😃

Biodun1929:
Bro, that guy blabbing since is very ignorant and not exposed that's why he is talking like that. I have an old class mate that deals in roofing sheets, general house materials. I've known this guy for 30 years. There was a time he lived in America for a while, so when he came back to settle down in Ondo state, I was shocked.

Every freaking year, this guy travels with his family to like.12 countries over the 7 continents of the world. But he still lives in Ondo state, not even Lagos. But his house is like something you see on MTV cribs, pool, tennis court, club etc. He told me he won't live anywhere else but Nigeria. He lives a lavish lifestyle off of doing business in Nigeria...why would someone like that leave naija.

The people i know that relocate/japa are high paid 9 to 5 people...but most of the businessmen i know that are making a killing in naija are not going anywhere.
BusinessRe: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Vela01: 8:49pm On Jan 13
For ease of choosing where you want to go, I give it to indrive. Also, Uber also give you that ease too. But you see Bolt, there's no way you'll use their app a whole day without going to where you don't like.

chidifrank:

Country ruined you abi you ruined yourself.
From the way you typed, one can easily detect that you're a rough agbero guy.
Na your recklessness go ruin you not the country.
Even if you're on your preferred paycheck in Switzerland with this agbero style, you'll still make nothing out of it.

When you made your comment, you said you know many "Multi-millionaires", since the argument is on billionaires, shey you no know any billionaire? Or you clearly don't know what it means to be a billionaire? Talk true make we educate you.

Kumuyiii:
ur country ruined me, destoyed everything i worked for in a mattter of months when yr emi lekan entered...yeye man. So me ,motivating you to leave is to save u...but i guess u dont even see much wrong in nigeria to begin with, unless it affects u... like u , i thought i could come back and make something good in this god forsaken country but it quickly reminded me why i left in the first place, i know countless multi millionaires, business men who lost it all or are barely hanging on ....those saying i shouldnt say i want to live pay check to pay check in switzerland or norway...lmao, 80% of nigerians no even see paycheck to paycheck live on, na borrow to paycheck, borrow b4 salary come, use salary pay loan...plus insecurity , poor healthcare, terrible roads, dirty, mad dirty environment(lagos), poor air quality, lawlessness, people protested about too much kidnapping in edo, governor arrest them, one dodoyo is telling me about how is bad to work in snow and racism...70 bandits pardoned 2days ago, making deals with terrorists, releasing them so they can come carry ur family next, every day on twitter , missing person....na paycheck to paycheck in SWITZERLAND!! una draw line, una no well...billionaire, but u have to always be watching ur back, do u know how paranoid they are when theyre in nigeria? dont think uve interacted well with any of them, theyre mad paranoid, like say person wan kidnap them' ....always on guard...that one na life? mtchewww
BusinessRe: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Vela01: 11:26am On Jan 13
You're never logical in every of your comment and always speaking out of context.

The point isnt about if Nigeria is better or not. No one is saying living in Nigeria is better than staying abroad.
Offcourse I won't be a cab guy if I am a billionaire.

And if you ask me, will I take the opportunity to Japa legally through study or work not visiting, my answer is YES!

Why? Because I'm not a billionaire.

If I am a billionaire in Naira, if I travel abroad, na business trip for one or two weeks, not to go dey hustle paycheck inside Harsh cold, enduring racism, etc. That's the argument.
Do get now? I know say you go still reply this out of context o😃

Kumuyiii:
u dey talk pikin nau, which one be you have to work in snow, racism, its not all rosy.....na heaven u dey go b4? u prefer driving uber in lagos sun then abi ? na u dey talk anyhow... i think say u wan talk real matters wey go make person say oh no, nigeria is better ohh. But no, working in snow is so bad....ur politcians use tribalism to divide una and put u in suffering, but na racism u no fit endure, mcthewwww

I don't know if you've traveled our lived in Europe before. If you've not, well, I have and I know for sure that it's not as easy and rosy like it seems. When you have to wake up always early in the morning in very hard cold weather to go to work or sometimes work in snow. Rasicm, tax etc.

However, being a billionaire means you have stable/sure sources of income, flexible work schedule and being a boss of your own.

Billionaire in Nigeria is a big deal bro, you can afford whatever you like including guaranteed security and health care.

Nelochukwu:
You don't get it bro. Billionaire in Naira is not billionaire in dollars. You will be shocked how many billionaires we have in Nigeria. In festac alone sef make we no go far and I'm telling u that the average billionaire will not pray to be treated in Nigeria. Cases of high profile hospital still doing rubbish talk less of normal hospitals.

Do u know how many people die in this country from nonsense? Either substandard drugs, injection etc. even with ur billions u will still purchase fake products at a premium price.

What I understand from his definition of pay check to pay check is not what u think. He means just a regular average worker in a place like Norway etc is far better than a billionaire in Nigeria grin esp as regards to basic amenities available to both.

That average worker sef no small ooo. Prolly earning 200k euros per year. Not bad bro
BusinessRe: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Vela01: 2:35pm On Jan 12
People die anywhere. Negligence happen anywhere. This one, him mama na doctor, na the same hospital wey him mama dey work he died of error o.

I'm not saying things are okay in Nigeria. But this syndrome is allover.

When the Liverpool footballer died, Jota, did you read how long it took for medicals to get to the scene? Things happen.

But comparing a billionaire life with paycheck-paycheck person get as he be.
If you can't get proper firstclass health care service here in Nigeria as a billionaire, then you're a foolish billionaire.

You know what it means to be a billionaire or you dey whyne billions??

Nelochukwu:
Alaye I'm not fighting you but is clear. Isn't Joshua a billionaire in naira and isn't Chimamanda billionaire in naira. Pls talk another thing.

Do u know how many Igbo millionaires died in that greater Nigeria building collapse. No emergency response. People trapped for days huh huh

Fact is fact. Nigeria is a proper shit hole. Sad but true.
