This guy is so arrogant. You should understand the pain of experiencing such a scene. How much pain it must have caused the guy, physically, emotionally and even with physical assault. You're doing the same thing people did to him by siding the girl without considering his own side. So learn to be sensitive when talking to people even when you're saying the right thing. Tone matter a lot. Pearl1910: We are all in the game, so u can't tell me it's easier said from afar. I know it's painful but the result is that one person can make u lose your job. So it's better to avoid it than remedy the results. U know it was an error on her path, but u also have a blame cos u didn't confirm destination at PU point. she was directing u to d right address. It's not as if she wants to swindle u after taking her to her destination. The right thing to do is renegotiate a fair price to the right destination. If it doesn't work for u then u drop her and let her go. Cos in this case u haven't gone up to 2km yet. There will be problem if u are asking her to pay the 5k by force, even if that's d right thing, ones fight enter u are now on d wrong side. There is no app that will not block u ones u get physical with a rider irrespective of who is at fault. But if u feel u are right and didn't do anything wrong, continue and repeat it with Bolt and Uber since u don't want to take advise. |

Imagine another irritating thing I saw today, where I went to pickup up, a guy on indrive said he has being waiting over 15mins, he doesn't want to cancel because indrive will deduct charge, he was calling the girl, the girl dey para back with strong voice that she is coming. No waiting time charge inside hot sun. I really pity the guy🙄🙄 Kaymax2222: sorry about your experience you don't have the picture frame that has her full picture? That address mismatch something is one of the downside of indrive |

I see why my decision never to use that yeye APP called Indrive is the best. If n Uber, I no go even mind, I go drive straight to where she dey go, by the time I end trip, no story. For me, it's not just about the profit, but my sanity. The calibre of people you'll meet on Uber sef, hardly will you see corporate thug like this one wey wear glasses come look like who normal. Biting a man till blood goshed out is the height of it. Sorry bro, abeg just move on, no let am spoil your plan . PuZZyNegro: Well, it's easier said from afar. Are you saying that if you take a rider on Indrive from where they are to where they want to go and the person cancels, you'll just drive off?
My problem is not the payment, my problem is the act which is cancelling the ride and asking me to show her the price on the app. It made me look like a fool.
You know when someone destroys an evidence and be asking you to show them an evidence? It could be painful.
If I wait for a week without them opening my account, I will create another account.
It's easier to create another Indrive account than on Bolt |

Charge 120k, make e price go 110, but don't take less than 100k Incase you meet unforseen traffic Jeoman: thanks a lot bro, we are actually going to like 2 places but it will take the whole day, I’m thinking of charging 100k including fuel money. What do you think. I actually net 40k dailu |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Vela01: 9:30am On Dec 20, 2025 |
This guy don talk am finish. It depends on the amount of trips. There was a day I got that kind of client, he asked how much I make a day. I told him 100k(I no dey net 100k a day o, I only told him that) So we ran the Business, he was going for 2 meetings, both lasted the whole day, not much fuel used, it was just money for my time. This morning too, I picked 2 ladies from phase 1 to VI, trip of 7k surged to 18k because we were in traffic for about 1hr 45mins, they gave me 20k, then asked if I can wait to take them back home, I charged 30k because I wanted to sleep too, but I made sure I collected 10k deposit Incase they find another ride. Eventually by 6, they came out and we concluded the trip. But if it was driving for the whole day from one place to another, you go add like 50k fuel join am PuZZyNegro: I net a minimum of 100k per day after fuel and commission this season. So calculate the person's movements and check how much fuel that will cost, then add 100k to it. I personally will charge 150k for my peace of mind. This is so you are comfortable that no matter where they choose to go to, they cannot exhaust 50k fuel.
A guy wanted me to drive his car to the East with him and take a bus back to Lagos. I charged him 250k, 50k for my transportation and other logistics and 200k for my profit of 2 days. Although he didn't get back to me, but that's how I do my own calculation.
I could earn more working here with lower risk. |

I have the policy of canceling rides that I feel I can't take. Like yesterday, I arrived a location, I saw 4 ladies, the 4 of them are plus size, you need to see the 4 of them, absorber and sob go just break, I humbly told them that I can't take this ride, I'm sorry🤌 Biodun1929: LMAO
I've noticed that people have started trying to use uber/indrive/bolt to goods, instead of chattering bus or van. They're trying to cut cost. |

My bro, when you're coming to Lagos, drive straight down to lekki, this is where I advise newbies to start from, if you stay on the mainland to hustle, you may find it difficult. There are places in Lekki you will see over 50 cars parked and drivers sleep in the cars every night, you will even find it interesting when you interact with drivers. Osapa, Chevron, phase 1, ShopRite sangotedo. Start your hustle from there. For a start, start with short trips within lekki, Ajah, sangotedo. After few weeks, you fit dey face VI and ikoyi but don't go beyond there, especially, avoid Marina like say na leprosy. From there, you'll learn on the job Orlanray: And about accommodation. Will I be going from sagamu to Lagos every day. Or sleeping inside car. I dnt know anyone in Lagos. Pls guys advice me.
I want to take this as a fulltime job for now. Untill things get back to normal for me |

You clearly don't understand Uber pricing. By the time you get to destination, rider isnt paying 4,130 shown on your dash board, what you're seeing there is your own. Mind you, you'll eventually earn more than that if theres any level of delay or traffic on Uber, while it's fixed on indrive, with the traffic these days, I can never use Indrive during the day. PuZZyNegro: Same trip on Indrive that no one is accepting, see the price on Uber
Uber can do better abeg. Long pickup, ridiculous prices |

You for no reply this thread, they'll come out for you saying you're lazy. I use to say, it's possible to net 100k in a day, but not always. But make we no start the topic again. My advise for people, don't follow mouth o this thread, if not, you go drive yourself enter. 3mb water. If na 30k/40k you dey net comfortably per day, dey your dey dey grind o Most of the people making mouth of higher net no even get car wey them dey drive. Any Job you're doing where you're comfortably saving 20k per day, 10k going to family. Every weekend na Christmas for my house. Wetin I dey find? God bless ur hustle. Merry Christmas and happy new year in advance. Glithronix: I don't believe that woman. 100k net daily for where? On Sunday wey I merged Uber and indrive to work, my net was 108k after commission and fuel money, and I quickly retire home like around 9pm. The work wey I do on that Sunday, I no fit repeat am daily, upon say we dey surge period oh. Except the said man is using Lagride, cos na that one go give person x2 of whatever bolt/Uber is giving. But with bolt/Uber/indrive, nobody fit repeat 100k net daily consistently. But it is well sha.

I don't understand why people complain about the long distance pick up, must you pick every order that come to your screen? It's always funny when I see people make that complain 🤣😂 Biodun1929: The benefits of Uber over indrive...
1. Times of traffic.
Imagine you're using indrive and already agreed on a fixed price, then the unforseen happens, and a trailers falls on the express, and you spend 3 hours in traffic, will you be begging the rider to put money ontop? With Uber, they automatically increase the price of the trip the more time you use on the road.
2. Bonuses
Bonuses on Uber are more mouth watering and you can collect the bonus money immediately (cashoit is instantly), not like with Indrive where you have to use the bonus money to pay indrive their commission.
3. Generally better prices.
I uses the two, and forget that Uber gets ridiculous commissions, but your own money is still high compared to money you get for same trips on indrive.
The only bad part of uber is the long pickup points, but that's already put into consideration when calculating the money you get per trip. |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Vela01: 12:26pm On Dec 09, 2025 |
You know where people have issues with Uber. Comot eyes from their commission. By the time you're accepting the ride, the next few that shows on your screen is your money. They'll charge the rider their commission. If to say they have a way of getting their commission without passing through you, you won't have issues. If the trip no pay you, don't accept. Glithronix: At the bold - Maybe make uncle Vela01 come share with us the secret on Uber. Abeg dem dey collect over 30% commission Cc; Vela01
