Start in very early in the morning from somewhere Jankande, Agungi, orchid, you will get better surge ride to phase 1, Admiralty. dont go to ikoyi or VI in the morning because most times, you won't see ride back because most people you take from lekki to VI are going to the office. Run the whole of lekki, Ajah, Sangotedo, etc till around 3. By 4, any trip to VI or IKOYi is good, you definitely see rush time trip back to lekki, if you get another back to vi or ikoyi, run am, you'll always get trip back till 9-10pm. For a start, you no go too stress with that time table. Avoid all those hoodlums by the road side urging you to take short cuts, it's always police trap. Stay safe man! Biodun1929: What parts of the island do you advise one to focus on...Victoria Island, Ikoyi, or Lekki/Ajah express? |

Bro, you can drive on the person's name, but if police stop and ask you who get the car, don't tell them its your own, always the remember the name on the document. Tell them you're on hire purchase or rental. But the best thing is to have docs in your name. I know wetin police use my eyes see on that level before I did the change of name. Djdamian: I need some help or advice.
I have a car whose current plate number and vehicle details are still in the name of the previous owner, and it will expire in January next year. I applied for a change of ownership and chose Abuja plate number, but it’s been more than one month now with delays and excuses about processing time.
My question is: Can I continue using the old plate number while waiting for the Abuja plate to be ready without getting into trouble with law enforcement?
Also, if the Abuja plate isn’t ready by January, can I still renew the old plate? |

Another reason why I can't use Indrive. I'm on Uber 24/7, if you like stay 10mins after your waiting time expire, Uber go start charging you. If your trip get Surge, they'll state it there categorically that they're charging rider for the waiting at surge rate. People wey no like stress lie me, na Uber we dey use😂 And Uber riders dey different from indrive, most of them will even apologize for the time spent, but wetin concern me, both your apology and charge dey my opay account😃😃😂 Kumuyiii: 😂😂😂Walahi, another one na waiting... Omo, once you pass 5mins,you fit even dey door, i go cancel... These girls no dey respect person time at alllll...maybe cus of my rating and performance for indrive, them no wan block me, i too dey cancel 😭😭 |

Bro, let's not waste time on this, na Inspection report you go upload there unless you never ready for approval. JoaoPedro: Hi, they requested for vehicle inspection report or vehicle license, it’s stated there at the top of the screenshot. I only have the vehicle license and they are not accepting it as apparently it doesn’t carry the car model on it. I just want to know if everybody else has issues with registering with the vehicle license and had to use the vehicle inspection report instead. |

Bro, my advise for you, try and get Uber and bolt. Stay mainly on the Island for now. Mainland will stress you as a newbie. It's easier to learn and earn on the island than mainland. Jamie90: Good morning gentlemen. I started this hustle on Monday and the turn out has been fair. But I realized that some pick up locations in the mainland have death traps as road. Should I work only on the island and can I only do this with inDrive? Because that is the only app I have for now. Which other app has easy registration? |

Na you get time to dey reply these guys. Some of them are lazy ppl. Even the office work, dey no fit run for 6 months straight. There many people living in Ikotun, Sango OTA that are working in ikoyi, VI. They get home 11/12pm to be back on the road by 4am on 200k or less salary. But because someone sat at my back and I'm driving them means it's not a noble job even if I earn more than them? All what you typed is highly disgraceful. You're exposing your reckless spending lifestyle and a bad saving culture. I can tell you that even if you work for Chevron without proper discipline, you'll still experience all what you highlighted. Making progress out of a job youre doing isn't just a function of how much you're earning alone, but also how well you do it and how disciplined you are with your finance. I attached those 2 screenshots for you to imagine how much from that gross went into savings. If you do this work raking grosses like this with proper financial discipline, every month, like me, you go dey smile when you see you savings. I have active savings model with a company where you can't withdraw until certain months, by 15 December when I go withdraw all my savings, no be the same language me and you go dey speak o. So it's about you not E hailing, I can confirm if you're hard working and disciplined, it's one of the jobs that can give you good life balance. ( Mind you, I do not work on Saturday and Sunday at all, I spend those days with my family). franksam209: you are actually not getting any return in ehailing,, it might look like you are doing well, but in reality you are not making anything... 1) you ain't learning any skill or improving yourself anyway because the work and movement will not permit you to. 2)you cannot save for future because there's always one expenses you are trying to sort out, plus up coming school fees, house rent. Mechanic.. At the end of the years you have wasted, if anything goes wrong, even aboki selling iron condemn will be more better than you are. Because you have wasted your whole life not acquiring any skills because of your busy working schedules, and you have also become poor because you couldn't save for the raining day after paying the exorbitant commission from the useless app company that still charges it's customers cheap fares at the detriment of your fuel and car, which you still end up fixing and maintaining from the little money you having!!!!
After this I'm not talking about this anymore,if you still don't get, then forget about it

If e sure for you, post dash board. People like you, na wetin you read on blogs you dey cap here. 40k is possible on some days, but not everyday, I can guarantee that. Dabadwela: Oga sir
I dey drive and I make more than 40k daily. I am just being reasonable like the person I quoted. If everyone is fair , 40k weekly on rentals is a crime and day light robbery.
Drivers will use excuse of damaging car to push this nonsense narrative.
Wetin concern me, if you get your own car you can give it out for 40k weekly as rentals ( like say this will stop wicked drivers from still damaging your car) |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Vela01: 11:17am On Nov 04, 2025 |
Then, the guy in question should take his car to work, park like every other person and drive home after work. But if anyone take offer of 70-80k a week to drive, he go soon kill himself. ReadaDream: If you like collect 30k rental. When it's time to fix the car, the owner will still be at loss.
Collect 30k rental today, spend 150k on repairs next week. How many weeks will the owner wait before he recoups his expenses?.. una too they funny.
Make AC just pack up, 150k+ don go.. I go come they wait for your 40/50k weekly.. okay now |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Vela01: 7:48am On Nov 04, 2025 |
Who did you confirm it from that minimum Net is 40k daily? Yes there are days you get that, but not everyday. The implication of chocking drivers with returns will eventually land on the owner because it'll reflect on car maintenance. They'll just drive you car mad and drop it for you after 6 or 7 months. Be fair in your deal. 40-50k weekly is the fairest rental deal for any driver. There's no way he'll work everyday, he has to have days of rest too and it can't be only Sunday, that's the truth. Dabadwela: Since it's confirmed that driver makes minimum of 40k net daily which amounts to more than 1m monthly, please help calculate 35% of that and divide into weekly sir |

Bro, "You'll surpass 400k" This statement na him dey make many drivers dey sleep off inside traffic. I remember when the whole f my body hold 2 weeks ago, I spent 4 days at home resting and treating the pain because na me get car wey I dey drive. But when you're expecting to share 400k every month, what happens during the months he can't work all days. It's I said, monthly renter plan works for both. Kumuyiii: Depending on location in lagos, sure, if your car is sound, you'll surpass 400k... It's best you keep the arrangement that way to avoid strife, but transparency go be koko, if he's not born again, it's a toss |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Vela01: 7:22pm On Nov 03, 2025 |
He will definitely Net 400k or more in a month. The only issue is "To share". My advise Is for you to give me on rental, with this schedule, have a fixed amount you're receiving. Then let him handle maintenance. This Job no be office work. It comes with a lot of stress and body pain, there's no way anyone will work every days of the month unless person wey do sign warrant. Have a fee he should pay per month, that way, he can calculate and schedule himself. I don't know how to explain better Sha, but I hope this little works. reverendfather: Giving out my Honda accord 2011 4plug to a friend to use for Uber on office hours and weekend. Is it something that can get us both 400k at the end of the month as profit?
He gets to drop me off at Ikeja, at 6:30am and then goes out to hustle with it and comes back maybe from around 7 or 8pm daily and on weekends, I let him use it, but on Sundays I may only grant him access from 12pm after church movements.
Is 400k doable as profit that we can both share either equally or depending on the minor charges.
On my car, 70litres can easily take me a distance of 350 to 400miles.
My location is Lagos |
