My Fellow Ibadan man😂

I started this job this year too, I had not driven well in Lagos, except for few trip into Lagos. I lived in Akobo Area of Ibadan and relocated to OTA. So I believe I was like you when I started.

There were lots of challenges. The first few weeks were my learning time. Yes, you will always work with the Map, but it is not always accurate, but most times, it's 80% good.

You have the right information by only wanting to stay majorly on the highland, for a beginner, it's the best advise you can get out there.

The only thing/person that will help you is YOU!

You have to be determined to succeed. It is important to start and test the Waters and then, there are many things you'll learn on the job.

Here’s the question;

“I have never driven before in Lagos and am planning to relocate from Ibadan to Lagos so please, CAN I DRIVE WITH GOOGLE MAP WITHOUT ISSUES?” (Though, I don’t mind using/practicing with it for 2 to 3 weeks before I start fully - even if to practice for 1 month to be familiar with the roads)

As someone advised and even helped with house agent’s contact, I want to get apartment in Badore, Ajah and I PLAN TO WORK AROUND ISLAND “ONLY”. I also plan to work for 8 days daily and hope to be netting at least 20k daily after all expenses.

If that guy was on rental or HP, he would have found a way. Some unnecessary question needs no entertainment. Make we know wetin we they do.. 2023 when fuel scarcity was at all time high sef boys still they work. OCT 1ST, fuel was in abundant on the Island and some parts of the mainland.

So guys this is my dashboard for last month. Did some really cool offline trips too. I started newly a month prior to this, I spent approximately 372k on fuel alone. This hustle was really helpful to meeting my short term needs, bills and clear some debts. Thanks to all the senior men that helped. My advice to young men especially those with personal responsibilities and that of families is never to wait for better days, that's a losing strategy. Get out of your comfort zones and eke out a living till you get back on top, don't see it as demeaning or beneath you, what is beneath you is living from hand to mouth, being unable to pay bills and begging people consistently thereby being a bug. Adenuga also did Cab/Uber in the streets of London before he is what he is today. Just keep the vision alive and never let the hunger die. My contract job has started so i would be willing to drop my car for a committed lad here. Reach out!

It means they have deducted their commission from the trip bonus they gave you.
But, commission taxing on every trip is a must.

Started doing Uber for d first tym after over 5 years of driving (just weekends) and I think I have abandoned my bolt app. Something is quite different. Some Uber rides are not taxed on my account dashboard.... Some not even up to d 25% I heard of. I am guessing kus I am on trial for Uber pro gold or am I wrong??

My brother, you really helped me reply this guy and there's nothing much for me to add.

I didn't post to put any other person in pressure but to encourage anyone who needs it.

To make that dashboard, I did 16 trips that day running the whole of lekki. So, I'm not saying it's easy, I'm just saying with hard work, we can stay levelled up.

On a daily basis, we encounter different kind of people, the Polite, Rude, wicked and uncultured people, but I'm never moved because I'm just all out for my daily bread and to feed my family.

I am not here to boast, I'm a just encouraging like I got some encouragement to start when I wanted to few months ago.

It has NO SINGLE EFFECT on you or your life than maybe making you feel either insecure, jealous and lazy.

Is that how you currently feel after seeing his post up there? If so I believe you should just work harder and earn better for yourself instead of trying to shoot him down from his 'happy place'

In ehailing the sky is big enough for all birds to fly meanwhile in the labor market we are still waiting for the government to create more jobs to accommodate just below 20% of our current unemployed labor force. You think getting a job is beans? even 1st class graduates will find it hard because of nepotism and 'man - know - man

If you feel comfortable going out to net 40k and the next man feels glad going out to net 100k . . . Why tell him to cover his mouth when he's gleeful? He deserves a pat on the back isn't it? The silly thing that causes the traffic is so sad. A small truck fell at the exit road to enter Marwa since 8am this morning, they couldn't find a way to move it till closing hour when traffic built up.

I have few questions please
1. I got admission with in Klaipeda university with neco results and PGD certificate from Uni. But my neco is 2020, the certificate is not yet out so I had neco send notifications of result to the school and my university sent them transcript as my university doesn't give transcript to student..However, federal ministry authenticated my neco print out, can I submit this at the embassy? What can I do? Should I authenticate the certificate alone? Please help
