If you like, have relationship for 10 yrs. My own is, keep you language, arrogance to those you have relationship with, DO NOT BRING IT HERE! Pearl1910: How do u know I don't know him? U just started contributing on this thread last year, u don't know people who have had a relationship for 5yrs.
As for opinions, he can air his, u can air yours and I will air mine. But let no man's opinion be such that will say another user is lying. Just talk ur own experience, simple. |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Vela01: 6:48pm On Feb 11 |
You be holy spirit wey dey enter man? You're the only one who uses unacceptable language on people in this thread. How can you say someone you don't even know is SO DULL, and you think you're a grown up doing that? This is a forum, people have the liberty to air their view on issues without being bullied. Arrogance will still not allow you know you're wrong. Pearl1910: Better develop yourself. It's people with low self esteem that see arrogance in other people. Or maybe u don't see anything but just want to continue attacking me cos I entered u 6 months ago. Either way grow up |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Vela01: 9:40am On Feb 11 |
Although, you still displayed your arrogant nature. But the last paragraph is a good question. I think someone goofed there Pearl1910: I hate to see this kind of posts. Someone has repeatedly told u how he operates but u are either too dull to understand or too slow to catch up. Either way, u aren't fit to offer any opinion. Nobody can work 18hrs daily consistently but that doesn't mean if it is required ones in a while it shouldn't or can't be done. The people carrying ur wife 5k to d island in d morning may be doing it for various reasons like u who confidentially once said u can carry 3k from VI to Ketu cos u are heading home. It doesn't mean generally that's the price drivers are working with. What's ur grouse again with someone saying he earns so so so amount that is bigger than ur head and shows proof to clear any doubts? One thing is sure, not everyone's experience will be same, just like u are enjoying Tinubu regime, while others are lamenting. U should just agree that u don't have the head for Uber business, leave it and have peace. U can preach ur own experience but don't tarnish or try to diminish the testimony of another person. *Come to think of it, U are working in VI and ur wife is taking Indrive to d same island. Why?* |

Okay. Because one of my guy wey dey use EOD hustle too, na that pattern he dey use, he doesn't wait, e get his own time wey he dey change ball joint, sound or no sound. I still see one hustler EOD drop for middle of the road at jakande yesterday, I really felt for him inside hot sun. Gentlelife50: I have been using Honda for years now! |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Vela01: 9:13am On Feb 10 |
Na Honda you dey use work? Gentlelife50: That's if you're not experienced, a good boll joint will last a very long time. Why waste money changing it when they are still good, well like i said you can be doing that when you are not experienced on how those things work sha. |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Vela01: 8:51am On Feb 10 |
Bro, that pattern wey @kumuyi dey use is the best for every Honda user. Don't wait till you hear sound, just change. Biodun1929: You change all 4 ball joints? I use Honda too (evil spirit). At a point my mechanic was changing vall joints almost every month, till I para for the guy. I guess he was replacing it with fakes...since I para for am, I haven't changed ball joint for like 3 months now, and ko issue. |

I did this rubbish btwn July and September last year. When the wahala started with my car, Crankshaft, Oil pump, overheating, metal break etc. That's why, I will NEVER work in the afternoon again, especially when it's sunny🙄 tobby98: Nobody can drive straight from 5am to 11pm. I have broken down how I operate, from 6am to 12pm, take break and resume by 4pm to 9/10pm for 4 days in a week. Just learn not to take any and every kind of trips. Even if you work for longer hours if you're not strategic, you would just circle around Lagos with no aim or little money. Nothing is wrong in also sharing operational and earning experience, it actually helps too, don't just take it from a point of envy or oppression. This is what helped me when I started last year September or so, kudos to everyone who constantly gave advice and shared experiences. |

It is thunder that will fire every driver that has taken her from ketu to island for 5k. Even if it's just destination trip, thunder go still fire them. dapotemi: Honestly, I don't have a prob with your figure tho. I don't just like how you simplify the Hussle as if others don't know what they are doing! Investors are wailing, drivers are not delivering,a high percentage of them! If you put 5M as an investor in this biz today, you won't recover it! Except if you PLAN well! Those who are raking d numbers as you claim have one thing in common, LONGER HOURS! I won't advice even my enemy to drive for 18 hours, it's suicidal. I won't allow you drive my car for 18 hours a day! To get a single trip of 10k on indrive now, you'll almost drive from east to west. My wife is now taking 5k on a steady from Alapere to island everyday. That's ridiculous! On 839 naira per litre, 12.5 commission, very expensive part! Yes you can still make ALOT of money, by driving 5am to 11pm! That's what most of you are doing but won't dare say it. I'm making money but this is what I AM DOING! Better than trying to sugarcoat things as if indriver dey give you special trip different from what others are getting... |

The 2 statement are correct na, both AC and bad catalyst affect fuel consumption 100% Gentlelife50: Lol, there was a time I argued this thing here. But Nigerians believe AC make car chop more fuel and if car chop fuel its catalyst. |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Vela01: 3:11pm On Feb 09 |
Uber is the best 😃 tobby98: Omo, at this point, one must give it to Bolt, if not for them, I for dey deal with those consciousless people on Indrive. For you to survive on Indrive, you must be highly knowledgeable of Lagos roads and timing schedule of traffic if not, you go hate yourself. Bolt might have higher commission but if you target rides well especially when there's surge, you would be shocked when you end a trip. I carried someone from Freedom way this morning to Apple Junction(Festac access road) it was initially 13k but on getting to there, it showed 19k, note the road was extremely free, coz it was around past 9am so we were literally going against traffic. |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Vela01: 2:20pm On Feb 09 |
Lol, you no wan work for them at all, by now, bolt for don give you lifetime ban😃😃 Sometimes I dey pick all those rides to boost my acceptance rate. With the road construction going on lekki road, I think Uber and Bolt are the best. I dey always go from Gold to Platinum on Uber, I never see this kind 0% acceptance rate before😃 😃😃. You no even send their papa Glithronix: @Vela01
So, is it because my acceptance rate is zero, na why Uber removed me from the platforms wey I suppose dey make 1 million in a week?
Make dem no worry nah, make I keep am on zero like that since I no fit dey take those 2k-3k-4k net trips of 15-25 mins pick up wey dem dey throw at me.
Much respect, sir. |

You try o, to come out inside this hot sun. Na morning I night I dey do, once sun dey show face, I don find one tree park and sleep better sleep. Unless you see long trip without traffic that will help the performance of the AC, working in the sun no worth am. Take tolls on you and the car. All the same, na everyone know wetin he dey pursue Sha. TUBLEZ: Waiting for request inside this weather has been very challenging |

Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Vela01: 4:09pm On Feb 07 |
I agree with your points, but Struggling to make 1m a year? nah! Don't exaggerate, how will you struggle to make a profit of 1m driving for a year. Haba! Ibadan drivers sef not fit talk that one, let alone abj and Lagos. northbird: 8
No one is defending any leader..I'm saying the fares are not matching up.. How can you invest 5 million naira and you are struggling to even make a profit of 1 million in a year. Is that business?..
That's why most investors who are interested in transportation have left the Uber /Bolt sphere.. |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Vela01: 3:34pm On Feb 07 |
Fair enough. Kumuyiii: Lol i dey market am becus it favors the pocket... Who no like better tin? Left for me na rx 350 2014 I go use do the work.. Yes na... But we live in reality... Say ur toyota no worry no mean say na so ebe for others... My own sent me to the mechanic every week, my eod dey give me joy.... Unless it's toks, it's a dicey business, person wey buy my muscle, God help him, cuz na repair i repair the gear, water enter gear.... You don't plan for shit to happen but shit happens, i loved the car, but unless I'm rich, i won't commit to a car wey the parts fit bankrupt me..... It's like buying a benz.... And yes I'm marketing eod and not even 2010 accord, becus dat one part to cost... EVERY CAR GO DEVELOP ISSUE. That's the best mind to buy a car with, so prepare for rainy days. Car is a machine, ego mess up when e wan mess up..... Everybody get bad experience for every car, so leave ur baby boy matta... eget people wey go swear say their range rover no dey worry dem, some go wan swear say na devil motor. Ultimately, have money to repair if anything sup, and if it's uber, i maintain, DON'T BURY TOO MUCH MONEY BUYIN AN EXPENSIVE CAR, BUT RELATIVELY CHEAP, WHEN URE READY TO MOVE ON YOU SELL CHEAP AND BE HAPPY. MY eod paid for itself 3 months after I bought it, wetin i dey chop now na profit salaa, if na 3m i see wen i wan sell am, i pocket am face front.
I'm sure ure familiar with the statement, to buy motor no be koko, you get maintenence moneyyyyy? |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Vela01: 9:23am On Feb 07 |
Do you consider the second hand value Toyota products have over Honda?. And you're always talking about price of Engine and gear. Honestly, how many years I don dey use motor now, I've not experienced anything of such. No be every car go develop that issue. You can't because of that no go for quality. We all know, any day, any time, Toyota remain the best. I've use Honda Baby boy before, I vowed never to near Honda except for high end ones. Na EOD you dey market like say na better car, you even get mind to dey use EOD for Uber. Kumuyiii: If na uber you wan do, i sincerely don't know why some of you bury over 4m in this uber business, a business that depreciates ur car even further... Get a car you'll quickly realize ur capital back and wey engine and gear cheap to replace.... Unless it's for private use, pls face another car. That car engine na 1.2m, gear 1.1m.....let's be wise in our endeavours, God bless. Go find eod for 3.5m wey sharp if na uber you wan use am do, if you're stubborn go carry ur corolla, good luck buddy.... Even if no be uber sef, still avoid am, unless ure well to do, In that case try get toks |
