Seems to me that significant Biafra separatist supporters live in Scandinavian countries and have white spouses. If many have the same sort of self-hate, racists’ views, as Chukwuebuka Enekwechi's Sister, this may explain some of the unacceptable, anti-black, comments often expressed by supposed IPOB members on Nairaland. It’s not my place to offer advice to separatists, and I’m not, but black organisations or movements for the betterment of black people should avoid all none blacks, mixed race individuals and blacks married to white people, if you intend on achieving success and enduring success.

Talking of travelling by road to the south of the country, interesting road trip - doesn’t seem policed, unless edited away and rubbish roads. Not true. Nigerians are the ones that mostly stand up for other blacks in trouble in the West. None Nigerian blacks are generally like the ones on this thread that always seems to automatically see Nigerians as wrong, while whites are always seen as right. In the West, blacks generally act cowardly or show signs of having been tamed by Whites.Blacks will not support one another against Asians, whites or the establishment. They will not do so in the work place, Housing, Emigration, streets or anywhere but Nigerians will often try to support other blacks in such situations. In doing so Nigerians often lose their jobs, are reported to authorities by the very blacks they are trying to back up etc. Nigerians have not been tamed yet, which is why there is concerted efforts online to demonise them.

If you are Nigerian allays ponder why something as technologically advanced as internet is rapidly reaching all Nigerians (it is pushed hard on the population) but common electricity is almost as moribund today as it was decades ago.

Freedom to build house anywhere without fear of contravening any building or planning regulation. Freedom to sell food to the public without contravening health and safety regulations. Freedom to vex saying he/she will no longer pay for electricity knowing that they can get someone to illicitly connect you to the grid. Freedom to molest girls without fear of prosecution except in most heinous instances publicised in the media so that authorities are shamed into acting. Freedom to set up anything without qualification. Freedom to fish. Freedom to pluck fruits. Freedom to tear down parts of public infrastructure such as bridges railings in order to make something to sell. Freedom to set up keke business without passing any safety test, without satisfying identity or criminal records. And in fact freedom to do almost anything you can think and if you have the ability because government footprint is negligible and police unfit for purpose. Just avoid police, which is very easy in Nigeria, and one can get up to all kinds of things impossible elsewhere in the world.

Nigeria is taking this tolerance thing too far, tolerating all the hate from the rest of Africa coming our way. It is about time we begin to retaliate. I do not mean kill anyone. All we have to do is take Nationality seriously and the rest of Africa will eventually stop taking us for granted. A part of taking Nationality seriously should involve the following: We need to have Nigerians registered in someway so that the wellbeing of Nigerians is prioritised through the recognition of Nigerians as belonging to Nigeria. No longer should we extend kith-and-kiness to fellows from Cameroon, Niger, Chad or Benin Republic by virtue of primordial relationships or to wider Africa by virtue of shared Africaness. Buhari is right to ban foreigners from Zamfara mines. Same should be done to Ghanaians and other Africans. Kick em out if they have no documents. Implement new immigration systems and enact more stringent immigration laws. Nigerians should begin to document our cultures and take ownership of them. We have let the rest of Africa take too long and too much from us without given credit. We should, each of us that are Nigerian, get into the habit of declaring our achievements for Nigeria and not for Africa. No longer should we let outsiders dismiss Nigerian Nationality by declaring something that is Nigerian as African, which is something I notice outsiders don’t do with other African nations. You will hear African Americans mention Senegalese hair, or Ghana this or Kenyan that but if a thing has Nigerian origin, there is ether hesitancy to mention Nigeria or an apologetic tone if done so. Usually something Nigerian will be declared African or West African. It is time for all that to stop. It is time we fight fore ourselves, it is time we open our eyes and stop trying to make everyone feel comfortable and not overwhelmed.
We should not join the Africa free trade crap and we should renegotiate or leave ECOWAS. Nigeria needs a dose of NATIONALISM! When we are more nationalistic, challenging those narratives our enemies’ and their supporters put out about us will come naturally. We’ll be challenging India and their ‘all African crimes can be blamed on Nigerians’ rubbish. We’ll be trying to find out just exactly who these people are that go about trying to set us at each others throat whenever we need to challenge outsiders. Nigeria will no longer be pray to foreign powers sponsoring terrorist against us. Nigerians will be more likely in future to put the wellbeing of the Nation above that of tribe. We’ll be more likely to elect politicians that can deliver for everyone or that would like to do so. We’ll be challenging and advocating for all our people that find themselves in difficulty in shithole places like Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Libya, Italy, Indonesia and so on. We’ll be honouring our soldiers killed in action, compensating their families, commiserating their memories in lavish annual ceremonies. We’ll be our brothers keepers. Obviously South Africans are behind much of the ethnic hate steering among Nigerians on this forum. Either that or some group sponsored abroad are experimenting on Nigerians, using the age old divide and rule that has always worked on Africans. It is fascinating how Nigerians are always guided away from attacking foreigners responsible for atrocities against them into attacking themselves. It is kind of galling to imagine that those responsible for this slight of trick are laughing at Nigerians and congratulating themselves.



I guess they get away with it by seeming to be Nigerians when you check on their profile and you read past post seemingly on Nigerian issues like local politics. But this is what you would do if you aim to fool your victims. You would create local history and use core local terms and drawn inferences.
