The same way I bought a plot of land and decided to plant plantains on it. Uprooted the trees with money, paid for the trees to cut into pieces and paid to be removed from the area. Went looking for suckers, bought them and paid for the helps I got in planting them. Nursed them and they started bearing fruits. Just then, thieves stepped in. I was still doing the weed clearing like two or three times a year but thieves were the ones harvesting it.
Na so I abandoned it for them. I decided that they too should come and clear weeds three times a year since they were the ones harvesting it. Today, no more plantains on it

Not at all cos I also sold mine to a mechanic too and I believe he still uses it till now sef. But I was relived I let go of it then sha cos it would have killed me.

Few years ago, during my NYSC days, I was involved in a business with a foreign clients(one of the UK Pharmaceutical industries) with a Nigerian man acting as middleman.
The amount involved was large and the quantity needed was over 30 tonnes.

After spending my money running around to get info on where and how to source the needed materials and logistics(find out how to move it to Lagos), the Nigerian guy played oversmart(greed) by cutting/shutting me off and getting the material himself i.e he wants to act as middle man and the supplier(me) at the same time, just to have the profit(over 5m naira) to himself.

Sensing that something fishy has happened, I kukuma spoiled everything by alerting the white men on his actions and giving them vital details on the sourcing.

Although he was sacked and the white men sourced the material themselves, but the pain that we could have shared the money if actually that is what he wants made me feel hurt.
