Tinubu should take away import permits from independent marketers of petroleum products and open up departments in core MDAs (Petroleum, Industry, Finance) in the petroleum sector for that sole purpose till we are able to stabilize oil and gas price.. Obasanjo was president and Tinubu was governor then. Both were bitter enemies. Obasanjo would have use that to destroy Tinubu by declaring state of emergency in Lagos as he did to other state governors.

Accused finger was never pointed at Tinubu and investigation was not carried out even though funsho Williams belonged to the ruling party. His death was done by the PDP. It happened just before the PDP primary election in Lagos
