A teacher asked his students, 1+1= ?. A student stood up and said 4.A semi illiterate man passing by overheard the response, shook his head and said: " PDP has killed us in this country Everything has increased; transport fare, fuel pump price, cost of foodstuff, electricity tariff,... everything. Even 1+1 that used to be 2 has now gone up to 4.

APC: we will normalize crude oil price

Masses; that's just plain stupid! Crude oil is a world thing you know, this shows you are the real 'CLUELESS' ones.
Ode use your thinking brain. If we build refineries here and we produce and refine fuel locally, we will be able to reduce and regulate the price at will a litre of fuel is being sold here in Nigeria at least.

The remaining excess crude oil can then be sold for foreign exchange.

#saynoto importing refined petrol.

Adminisher:
I am an APC supporter but on this story of queues for commodities he did not a lie. The only problem is that he was criticizing something that was good and most Nigerians supported.
The Story:
NPN the rulling party before Buhari regime had looted treasury, oil prices were also down to $35 a barrel due to the international manipulations and foreign exchange was scarce. Buhari and Idiagbon were not going take foreign loans and devalue the currency. They were so sure that the problem of foreign exchange was a temporary one and could always be rode through that they rationed foreign exchange and all imported consumer goods had to be rationed. They also started partnering with local manufacturers Nestle, Cadburys, st.c to expand local manufacturing capacity.

So Jonathan is right, we queued but unlike him we liked it because we knew our naira was just N2 to the $1 and that all the ''essential commodities" were soon to be made in Nigeria. Anyway, IBB came later and destroyed everything and the entire country.

Why is everybody going against jonathan in dieing minute.

Am sure firefire, ichiidodo, temitemi1, babyosisi, gboliwe and even GEJ himself will soon make a U-turn and clamour for change.

Its only a madman that keeps doing the same things and expects a different result. We are all tired of PDP and am sure GEJ also is, but he seems stuck. He should not worry though, he would soon be rescued from the burden of presiding over our nation very soon so he can retire peacefully and enjoy his penision at otueke.

Nigerians don enter one chance.

In this jonathans administration, if you steal anything less than N10million then you are a fool and a criminal. N10million and above is okay. You will be pardoned by your states police commisioner himself. Just dash him N1million as tithe.

Steal N1Billion and above and Jonathan will personally congratulate u and give you national award.

The funny thing is that our mugunified president has always been in government right from the inception of this present stretch of democracy. Its not like he was just smuggled in yesterday. He has since 1999 been part of this same PDP he is blaming and has never effected any tangible change right from his days in Bayelsa first as a deputy governor, and then later as a governor.

He has no plans for Nigerians. He and PDP are hell bent on distracting us with the blame games. That is what all his government is about. Blaming the opposition for all the evils in his administration.

He will soon blame APC and buhari for not being capable of curtailing the excesses of his semi-literate wife whom am very sure bought all her educational certificates.

MOBJECTIVE:
Let me school you with a better scenario wink

3 children in the same school are to collect school fees from the same parents amounting to N20 000 each. The eldest of them lies about the amount, and says it is N40 000, so the parents give each child N40 000.
The second eldest has no problem with this and so collects the money. The youngest and most innocent however is troubled by this, but to assuage the guilt of taking all N40 000, he only takes his N20 000 and finds a way to secretly return the remaining to his parents purse. But he turns a blind eye to the actions of his fellow siblings and always plays mr good boy when he is around them.

Tell me, is there anyway he could have done things differently that would have been better for his family as a whole? Is his family still not leaking N40 000 each year. Is he really helping his siblings and washing himself clean of guilt by ignoring their actions?

My own answer: My conscience and Catholic faith tells me even this young boy is wrong in his actions. Simple.
Correct but he played a politics of wisdom so as not to tear the family apart because his brothers will always be his brother and exposing them can create permanent enmity between his siblings.

That's why religion cannot freely mix with politics cos you can't be 100 percent perfect but you have to try. Even god judges the heart and not actions so am sure the youngest guy will be in his good books.

Jonathan made no attempt whatsoever to stem corruption yet blames the opposition for every evil in his administration. On his first address to the nation this year, he said he is making plans towards addressing the issue of corruption. Tell me, after how many years. He isn't ready to do anythind differently if voted in to power. He will even perform was cos he knows he cannot be elected again unlike APC which would strive to atleast do something different and prove that they are better than PDP. This healthy competition will be to the masses advantage.

Am tired of cluelesness please. This is not hating.

MOBJECTIVE:
*scoffs* "set a good example?" If ignoring corruption is setting a good example the idea of a good example has been bastardized. An example of a good example is Achebe turning down his national award ENTIRELY and TWICE in protest of the corruption that was going on in his home state, Anambra, which was supported by Obasanjo.

If Buhari wants to form mr incorruptible:
1) he shouldn't partake at all in what he himself termed corrupt

2) he could have taken concrete steps to stop what he termed corrupt, by possibly sponsoring a bill to stop it

3) most importantly, he should not ignore corruption.

Otherwise, he should take the money and stop being a hypocrite.

Btw, what does my father have to do with this discussion?
So u mean collecting his pension is corrupt abi.

Let me school you with a scenario

A student is to pay 20,000 for fees and asks and collects 20,000 from his parent compared to his classmate who instead of collecting 20,000, demanded for and collected 150,000 at home for the same school fees.

Who is corrupt and dishonest amongst the two. If u had a business, who would you like to entrust it to amongst the two.

Or maybe you mean the student should forego his\her fees in order to proove all righteousness to his\her parents

It would not be wrong if it were just pension. The person who i quoted wrote this:

"All heads of states collect on the average 23 million Naira every month, apart from General Muhammadu Buhari. He (General Buhari) objected to collecting most of the allowances, insisting they were bogus and therefore amount to corruption."

I dont know any other country that pays former heads of state the same salary as a head of state, or gives them allowances, which is what i infer from this post. This means mr buhari can collect what he is entitled anytime he wants so his current actions are cheap: collect what i feel right and leave corruption to fester, which is wrong. Ignoring corruption is wrong.

I hope you get my post now.
Are u a Nigerian, cos I sinecerely don't understand u. You mean ignoring millions of Naira is a very cheap thing that anybody can do. Why your papa no donate the meagre thousands he is collecting to the poor and needy before judging someone who has decided to forego millions so as to set a good example

President Goodluck Jonathan is the Best Head Of State in Nigeria since 1999 Democracy.
All sectors in Nigeria have been touched in a positive way.
Nigeria is the Largest Economy in Africa now.
New Federal Universities/TETfund projects.
Railway sector is been reformed.
Polio is a thing of the past with many fed. Hospital ben rehabilitated and reformed.
He supported the Agricultural sector and Power generation have improved.

Just my 2cent.
No be bill gates money and initiative stop polio. Jonathan is not a man of his word so I can never believe anything he says. He says he will never go for second term...look at what we have today. He said if he cannot fix electricity in four years he is a bastard. He has used six years and the electrical situation is even worse than he met it. Our can u explain being the largest economy in Africa and yet our external reserves are depleting in per seconds billing. His government is a government built on lies. More than 3 years ago he said he knows boko haram sponsors. Has anyone been named or convicted, yet you believe he is actively fighting terrorism. Military is underfunded. Army cheifs are corrupt, yet the foot soldiers are beind sentenced to death for protesting

Am sure you're not Yoruba because we aren't empty chest beaters like some of our brothers in the east. Go and ask your mum who your real father is.
You will be shocked.

Am not in anyway affected by the Nigerian Economy cos even though I grew up there, I have since moved on to a better country and am doing great.

Am just ashamed at the effrontery of this government to even begin to think of campaigning. Put yourself in my shoes. Imagine you're here in the US and all the news you hear daily from your country is bombings, massive looting of the treasury, our president saying stealing is not corruption on national TV, our army rendered useless, ur relatives always disturbing u to send money cos of the economic situation there...will u be happy with the president.

If not that you're directly or indirectly gaining from the ineptness of this administration, you won't be there spewing trash. The so called wealth your family has illegally acquired can dissappear in the twinkling of an eye if something is not done to stem and pacify the agitations of the suffering masses anytime soon.

Of course you won't know there are people suffering and that lots of them aren't happy with the present government cos u lie down in the comfort of your room to type nonsense. Go out and feel the heat. If they born u well, enter the north...but of course you won't. Even jonathan your father and mentor has chickened out and refused to go despite all the security apparatus in his disposal. He is not only clueless but a coward who cannot control even his wife.
