I repeat that you didn't read the post. You are implying that I am lying or posting under false pretense! I will hide from who? Has any one on this thread ever paid for my vacation? He is going for his second Masters degree.Perhaps, you want me to post his name and citation from Imperial College, London, then , we can ascertain who is the illiterate! Everyone on this thread as well , does not know how to use the Internet because by your understanding and logic,a person who knows how to use the Internet will not bother to be on this thread, all he has to do , is to Google it! Gluckauf!

It is distasteful and your reply leaves a sour taste in the mouth because it is clear that you didn't read my post.
My firm only send local staff to study at Gubkin,Russia or TU Clausthal, Germany. He got admission on his own at Austria, hence he is pursuing it , without backing from the Legal Department.
So, if you can't make a positive comment, it is more matured to let it slide.
I read your post and i got the contents. But the question remains: why are you the one striving for your "colleague", doesn't he know how to use the internet himself? I don't see what is offensive in what i wrote except that you feel i shouldn't point out the non-existing person that you put into the picture

I said No. But it is actually no because we are all travelling at different dates because of our various work schedules . ie. i intend to travel 23rd, my sister 21st, my brother 20th. Please i need a reply asap as i'm about to book my appointment for tomorrow. Also, do you know if a re-application takes long to process?
folashade1111:
They said a certain amount of money entered my account and there was no proof of source, and that was the last transaction before i printed my statement. I have sorted that out now. I just don't want them to refuse me again so that is why i am thinking of attaching my siblings and mum's visa/ticket pages.
You have just committed a violation called MONEY LODGEMENT, this is an express ground for REFUSAL. You can not get a visa with such account unless you are able to give a satisfying evidence of the legitimate source of the money.

Anyway, it is worthwhile to declare that you are all together in this trip howbeit travelling on different days.
Regarding whether re-application takes longer, well, NO, it takes just as long as it takes to apply for a visa.

Hello, I'm new to nairaland. Just a quick question, I applied for a family visit visa to spend christmas with my sister who is a british citizen. I was refused. Now i want to re-apply. The question is, my other siblings and my mom also applied(we did not apply together) and they all got theirs. I did not mention it in my initial application that the entire family would be going to the uk for christmas, but now that i'm the only one that got refused, i want to know, can i attach my siblings and my mum's visa pages and their tickets? just to show that it is a family visit and i will be coming back?. When they asked me why i was traveling, i told them i want to spend Christmas with my family. Please i need an urgent reply! Thanks
Well, every application is treated in its own merit.
In the part of the application form that says, "is any one else traveling with you?" What was your answer?

Just a question please. If someone has applied to come to the UK as a tourist and has booked a hotel in London,he is issued a visa but later changes his mind about staying in a hotel and decides to stay with family in Birmingham, that means he's going to travel through Birmingham.Does this pose a problem?
If immigration officers at the port of entry detect the changes, you may have to explain why so: if your explanation is satisfying, it would be ok. But if they sense that you're trying to outsmart them, then you would be stopped and deported.
But even if you change your mind about your place of stay, it would be a big risk to cancel the hotel reservation which you declared during your visa application: immigration officers do check with hotels for verification

First of all, that "family friend" is a 419 con man.
Now, the thing that you call "the only problem" is in fact the whole lot problem: when visa application is concern, there is no greater problem than not having money in your bank as a result of joblessness

Hello house please ,I need an urgent response,I applied for UK tourist visa and I was refused, I am a student and also own a store, my store is registered(CAC) and I have a TIN number, when I wanted to apply I collected letter from my school, stating am a final year student going for Xmas holls to be back in 2 weeks before my graduation in march 2015,and I backed this up with all my school document. I filled my form and made a mistake :in the part where I was asked how much I receive monthly I filled 100,( I was thinking it was in naira which is 100k, I forgot it was in pound which is 26600k) and In my personal account I had 1mplus. I sell expensive hair n cream, the money that enters my account varies,as some months I have more while in other months I have little money. And again I was asked wen I started business I wrote 4/sep /2013, which was actually when I started,I put documents to back it up like, local government shop permit, LASAA original receipt, shop rent receipt, agreement form, and all my back dated receipt I have used to purchase goods, and also with pictures of me in my store n what i sell.I submitted my form and my result came out in 7 working day Refused.
The Eco said he refused me becos he is not satisfied with my account statement, he said I stated I have started business in 4/sept /2014( he made a mistake, I stated in the form I started business 4/sept/2013). And that I receive monthly income of 100 pounds, and I have 1m plus in my account, he is not sure of the genueity of the source of fund provided. He doesn't think I will return from the UK as stated by me, now my agent who help me befwith?aid he will attach a review and I will reapply immediately. Since I stated am going on the 20th of Dec 2014/ that they can still give me if I reapply. Please I will really appreciate if I get immediate response .thanks in anticipation.
How much money would you say you earn monthly on average?
Look, you can't be seeking advice from us if you already have an "agent" who dictates what goes... By the way, what is the agent helping you with?

please @ boss vicjustice I applied for an irish visa but I was refused with the following reasons

CP:- need to undertake the course in this state not demonstrated or warranted

F:- finances:- evidence provided is deemed insufficient or incomplete. The applicant has provided details that his uncle will cover his full costs. Insufficient evidence of why the sponsor of would pay the applicant rather than his own direct family is not shown. Evidence of relationship to sponsor is also not provided.

ID:- insufficient documentation submitted in support of the application

OB:- obligations to return to home country have not been deemed sufficient

OC:- condition - The potential cost of the trip is high in comparison to the applicants means, and given that no compelling reasons for the trip have been displayed, the visa officer is not satisfied of your intentions to leave the state following your visit.

OC:- observe the conditions of visa - the visa sought is for a specific purpose and duration:- the applicant has not satisfied the visa officer that such conditions would be observed.
SP:- gaps in education or employment not accounted for. No evidence of education or employment since June 2013

Vicjustice, for that last one, I have not been employed nor went to school during this period so please what do I do because I need to appeal...... A reply would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much
What are your circumstances like, and on what ground are you appealing the decision?

A colleague of mine is in a conundrum . He got admission to study Masters in Austria, and also on company sponsorship. Since company policy rejects the use of company bank accounts for staff welfare, the money is usually transferred into the account of the Welfare Manager, who is also his Uncle. 3 million Naira was transferred prior to his application . The Alien Office at Austria contacted him through their Embassy in Nigeria, that he has to show more financial proof. He sent them a bank statement of 3 months ( that's d rule, not 6 months ), closing balance of 2.1 million Naira . He is worried about his chances of getting his permit!

@ vicjustice, i applied for a UK visa in May 2014, but i was refused a visa because my invitee used a signature that was different from the one on his bio data page. To be candid, i never saw the difference until it was pointed out. All effort to make him sign his real signature did not end well. The visa officer said that the signature does not look authentic. I want to re apply but i want to use another friend of mine. What are my chances? Thank you.
In this circumstance, swapping from one inviting person to another (within a very short period of time) is a very good indication of your desperation to travel to the UK, therefore, your intention is very suspicious.
By the way, you don't need invitation from anyone in order to apply for a visa, therefore, you can do without asking anyone for invitation letter. Book a hotel

Good day friends. Please I want information regarding applying for UK visa. In 2005, I applied for UK student visa and was rejected. I appealed the decision and lost the appeal. I want to reapply for a student visa using the new e-passport with same name and but different date of birth. I have used my new passport to travel to South Africa, Senegal and Ethiopia. I also have a valid kenyan tourist visa. Please I want expert advice if I need to answer yes to the question " Have you been rejected entry to the UK"? since I will be using a different passport with same name but different date of birth.
There's no way that you can escape the repercussions of this fraud if you ever applied for a visa for any European or western country. so, it is better you apply now and get your ban or you just have to forget about European countries for good.

Sure, there should be some documents that actually verified who the inviting person claims to be.
In Europe and America etc, invitation aren't done by citizens only, a person with legal status can invite someone. I don't know about Asia etc

Yes, any legal entity can invite someone, and such company can give out invitation, but whether it is approved or not is a different thing

ok sir, so lemme just mk it one sponsor(my uncle). But any need for the lettet of support and consent from my widowed mum.
Gone are the days when uncles are recognized as legitimate sponsors, but with new requirements, unless the uncle is a legal guardian and he can demonstrate what he will gain from sponsoring your study, he will be deemed as inappropriate sponsor, and that would mean REFUSAL

* if both will be possible, will both SOA be mandatory.

Or better of what's ur advice in this step

Thanks.
It is allowed to do whatever you want in applying for a visa, but that doesn't make it likely to get the visa.
Now, using two sponsors only reveal one thing: and that is, neither you nor your sponsors are financially imposing enough to be capable of taking the cost responsibilities without assistance, and that won't look good.

Please, be considerate to use standard spellings.
Well, bear in mind that the number one personal verification method in Europe is a person's Date Of Birth, therefore, as far as international matter is concerned, these two documents (your birth certificate and your passport) can never be used together: you have to get one sorted to match the other.

Thanks for the reply. The skool is giving me 7 days supplementary accomodation. Which is clearly stated of my offer letter. After that 7 days I intend moving to my family frends house. So I can den settle down to look for a suitable accomdtion. Should I bring in my family frend, with introduction letter and biodatapage of irish passport. Or is there any other way I can handle the accomodation issue. Or how is the accomodation issue handled in the visa application.?
Things to consider are:
1) The Location of the family friend's accommodation
2) Tenancy agreement document and utility bills in his name
3) Adequate room availability
4) Property owner's consent document.
5) Documented terms and conditions of your staying.
If he has all the mentioned, then, you can declare him, otherwise, he is irrelevant to your application

It is not a requirement to make flight itinerary, and as a student visa applicant, other itineraries are not necessary for you. Do not make the mistake of booking a flight before your visa is issued, your money would be forfeited if your visa is refused.
It is also unnecessary to bring the "family friend" into the picture, he will be useless in this situation unless he is the one accommodating you

You can travel to the US via a UK airport without a transit visa provided you stay at the airport even if your onward flight is several days away, but you need a transit visa to leave the airport
