but that woman sha, whatever happened to her handbag. I ve not heard of such, everybody i know always have their money and travel documents inside their hand bags. had it been her travel documents were with her, probably she had a return ticket. (If na me na to go back i no do xmas 4 naija again.) Some travelers do not fancy putting their money in their carry-on bag or hand-bag for the simple reason that people often expect travelers to have money in their hand-bags thus making it a target: The money and the documents are actually safer where she had put them in, she was just not vigilant enough or she was just unlucky |

You don't just take a photo of an isolated neighbourhood suburb and generalise it as London, You have the responsibility to officially report the condition to the local authority, and trust me, they will be happy to send construction workers to repair it in no time. You could have brought it to the attention of the local authority instead of trying to shame them here |

Do not mind those superstitious and ignorant Pastors or other unreasonable so-called spiritualist who would judge you as being demonically possessed... This is natural, any man (or even woman) could experience wet dream if s/he stays away from sex (especially after being sexually active before). Wet dream is an indication that you are sexually excited and aroυsed, howbeit, you do not have practical intercourse. The occurrence would reduce in future and it could even stop occurring on its own when your body gets used to abstaining from sex. |

What is more pleasant than having a Christmas celebration in Nigeria? But yet, due to promises made to my little ones, that's the promise of white (snow) Christmas, I chose to celebrate this year's Christmas with my family in (snow guaranteed) Latvia, as snow can not be guaranteed in Ireland nor the UK. We are currently in the Eastern region of Latgale, and here are some instant photos taken with my cell phone. Courtesy of Babefishing dating community, the ideal free Nigerian dating site. Carterh: Here are the issues raised by the ECO 1. On the basis of evidence provided, you appear to have no dependent relatives and little in the way of personal income or assets in your own country. 2. Your spouse’s 31 October – 30 November 2014 bank statement shows periods of low balances and is overdrawn in a number of occasions. It is clear that funds in this account are subject to financial commitments. I am therefore not satisfied that his finances are as comfortable as you state or that funds held in this account are available for the purpose of your proposed visit. 3. In light of all the above I consider that you have failed to show sufficiently strong family, social or economic ties to satisfy me, on the balance of probabilities, that you intend to live the United Kingdom on completion of a short visit. Therefore, on the balance of probabilities, I am not satisfied that you will be maintained and accommodated in the UK without working or having recourse to public funds or are able to meet the cost of return or onward journey. I just realized that your husband's account is guilty of Money Lodgement, therefore, i am of the opinion that you can't get a visa with such. |

Carterh: Thank you. My father in-law is a Doctor and doing very okay. But as u said i think we shud keep him out of it. So now that my husband works full time and earns £1400, and he will have at least £5000 or more in his account when we apply next month, do u think that will be enuff? And again do you think it's worth applying again or? I need ur advice pls. I'm not in position to tell whether you can get the visa with the amount of money readily availabe, the answer has got to do with how long that you intend to stay for, what you would be doing in the UK, how your visit would affect his financial condition and importantly, what you would be returning to Nigeria for. Also it is up to you people whether you want to re-apply or not, but there is no regulation forbidding you to re-apply though. |

Carterh: Hey guys @justwise @Vicjustice . My brother just collected my Documents and it's rejected. I saw it coming though so....Btw my husband is so worried about it and he said we should re - apply. I told him we not going to do that till I get advice from you guys.lol I haven't seen the rejection letter yet but my brother told me they raise issues bout me not having strong ties to Nigeria plus my husbands bank statement plus they think he doesn't earn enough (£700) to take care of me for 5 months while I'm there blah blah. After all he stated in his later that he was doing part time job before but he is now working full time and he earns around£1400. And btw @Vicjustice they didn't say anything that shows they doubt our marriage. Nways now the thing is I have 2 plots of land in my name which was given to me by my dad, and I live in a rented property which was rented for me and in my name for 2 years starting July this year. Do u think that can be a strong tie even though I do not work? And do you think having £5000 pounds in my husbands account will be enuff? And because my husband lives with his parents in London, do you think we should include his dad's bank statement since he is providing accommodation for me while I'm there. And since I do not work, do I have to provide my own bank statement? The two plots of land would be described as properties that stand in isolation, therefore, they do not represent tie. Your joblessness wouldn't have been a problem had it been that the conditions of your husband's employment and his financial state is satisfying. You are not required to provide your father in-law's bank statement even if he is accommodating you, yet, it is not a bad idea for your father in-law to get involved, but then, this will discredit your own husband and the application may be subjected to more questions especially if your father in-law is not very financially comfortable. |

THIS IS YOUR QUOTE AND MY CORRESPONDING ANSWERS. YOU IGNORED POINT NUMBER 1 AS WELL AS POINT NUMBER 4, THESE POINTS EXPLICITLY SUGGEST THAT YOUR TRAVEL HISTORY AS WELL AS YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES ARE NOT APPEALING FOR A LONG TERM VISA, AND YET, YOU CHERRY-PICKED POINT NUMBER 2 WHICH WAS A RESPONSE TO YOUR QUERY ABOUT YOUR INTENTION TO TAKE AN UNNECESSARY TRIP.esosa4real: Please I need yall input on this: Just for Remembrance sake, i am the medical doctor who was seeking guidance/advice on my application around the month of August and i visited this thread everyday for a month before applying, got my visa and travelled for my medical conference. I also visited Brazil a month later for another conference. i plan to visit the UK by Gods grace in july,2015 just for tourism. But enh, my 6months visa expires in february 2015. These are my questions i need clarification on as regards my next move(visa renewal). 1. Do you advice i apply for a 2year visa? am scared about that o cos i visited the uk once. Or is it wise to apply for another 6months? NOTE: my travel history is this (Nepal,2010 for conference, Ghana2014 for tourism, Uk oct 2014, Conference+tourism, Brazil 2014 (conference + tourism) 2. Or is it compulsory i go once more before it expires in february. will it increase my chances of a 2year visa renewal? 3. My employment status has changed, i was initially employed in a teaching hospital but my contract has terminated. I am working in a private NGO with smaller pay + i dont recieve payslips like the former? is this not a drawback? what can i do? 4. Considering my travel hx and all, will i stand a good chance with a 2year visa request? 1) The 2 years entry clearance is not issued on the basis of sequence, but on necessity when considered a frequent traveller who is constantly in need of a visa. 2) Although, you were issued a 6 months multi-entry visa, but the number of times that you traveled to the UK is irrelevant, even if you didn't eventually make the trip. 3) If you're not up to one year in your new employment, then how can the visa officer be satisfied that it is an employment that is sustained? And though, you do not necessarily need to provide payslips, but your bank statement is expected to display your earnings. 4) There is no harm in trying, but I don't think your circumstances as well as your travel history qualifies you for a long term visa. |

We are planing to appear again by Feb, do we go to Abuja or Lagos because I was told that abuja is better? No visa application centre is better for reason of the location, every application is treated in its own merit, and the treatments are according to the rules and regulations setting the required standards for visa application. The decision making has absolutely nothing to do with the location of the embassy, it just depends on the individuals that are in charge of each case. Once again, i like to strongly discourage you from paying any syndicate called "agent" with every emphasis at my command as i describe them as useless, meaningless, fruitless, needless, profitless, valueless, helpless, worthless, futile, inutile, ineffectual, vain, unavailing... plus any other word with similar meaning |

Carterh: Hi @justwise. I'm new on here and this is my 1st post. Been going through this thread n I can see u have been of great help to people, Kudos to u bro. My issue is I got married to a British citizen in early August in Nigeria. Being away from each other immediately after marriage is a bit difficult for us (he had to go back to uk for work) and we haven't reached the requirements for spouse visa so we decided to apply for a visitor visa so I can go have time with him, celebrate his 30th birthday amd new year with him n his family. I do not work but I do small Scale business where I buy and sell fabrics at home. I depend on my husband financially so he is going to be my sponsor. My husband sent me his 2 months payslip as well as his bank statement (unfortunately 1 month). I have mentioned in my application that I intend to apply for a spouse visa when I get back to Nigeria so I wouldn't wanna jeopardise my chances by over staying. I have all the necessary supporting documents including out wedding pictures and the rest but my worries is I dunno if they will give me a visa cos of I don't work plus don't have any family responsibilities which is ties with Nigeria. And then I said I will be there for 5 months....What are my chances pls? You said he left for the UK immediately after your marriage: well, in the logic of a Visa Officer, that doesn't look like an example of a marriage that is credible or that is sustained, it looks more like one of convenience. To be honest, it is hard to see how you can get a visa with just a mirriage certificate and pictures, but without reasonable physical togetherness. And also, your personal circumstances do not meet the requirements of a tourist visa: and the man that you are presenting as a sponsor does not have an acceptable bank statement nor does he meet the requirements in other regards. |

peculiar2000: Initially my daughter applied to Miami to meet her father's friend on a visiting visa , the woman is a citizen , an agent said its because the woman over there is a citizen that's why she was denied and also because she's young and inexperienced with no job, this time I'm thinking the woman thinks we want to go to Miami because of the woman because she said 'why Miami ' when we got to the embassy the officer asked why I'm leaving my husband and my other family and taking just my two babies I told her because others are married and my husband is at the port because he works with an oil company , that's all I said I don't know where I made mistake I don't know maybe its because she asked for places in Miami and we didn't really give her a good answer , thank you Please, beware of "agents", these are people who brain-wash visa seekers to think that a visa application can only be successful with the help of an influential insider, or a paid professional mediator: but on the contrary, they are good-for-nothing syndicates who are the number one cause of getting people banned. Example of such is your "agent" who suggested that your daughter's visa was refused because her contact is a US citizen: it is clear from this that he could have suggested her to lie in this regard whereas, being a US citizen has absolutely no negative effect to the application. Regarding future application, I strongly recommend that you do Google search about the state that you want to visit, be familiar with the areas of interest and the airport of arival. Read the opening article of thread comprehensively, and if you have further questions or concerns, ask here. |

Though she applied for Miami and again we picked Miami but the visa officer wanted to give us the visa but she asked my daughter if she have applied before she said yes as soon as she said Miami she just brought our passport forward,i'm 51yrs my husband work with one of the oil company's there is no way I could leave him my other children are here with their husbands, I have 15yrs more to put in. Soon I will be a director of nurse by then, please advice me on what to do bicos I am planing to try again my children just want see what america look like kindly advice me 82.000, is not a small money peculiar2000: I do not really know why we were denied but she used this statement 'why Miami ' , we want to apply again next year what do you think we can do?.... Thanks for your reply Somehow, I suspect that the reasons for the refusals are related to the lack of geographical knowledge of American states locations and your declaration of your places of interest and activities as compared to your intended port of arrival and accommodation details. The USA is way bigger than the whole of west Africa, and though, Miami is in same East coast with New-york, but the distance from New-york to Miami is further than the distance from Lagos to Abidjan in the Ivory-Coast. Miami can not just be a reason, you didn't state the obvious reasons for previous and current refusals. Please, provide details and I'll be happy to guide you through on how to make it successful... depending on whether you fulfil the requirements. |
