Amosiye: y re u talking like dis vicjustice. Stop it .I don't like it. I claimed it by by faith that is y I change it. In the first place re u God to judge the cause of peoples trials in life. I change it via my account. Not urs . Being the moderator doesnt give u right to do and say any thing u like. Amosiye: I trust in God I believe in spiritual words ,grace and faith. I change from refuse to accept. (Nuthing) much just claiming by faith. DID I write wrong about you.? No. Then y the Ill post. Being positive is the best in life. I am always positive I dont know about you. So @ vicjustice I warn you for the last time stop judging people. U re not God. U re just a mere mortal, stop feeling like a God cos u just an ordinary moderator in nairaland. U own not even ur self (As a moderator u re suppose to be polite and use the right words)Stop being unreasonable: You changed the keyword in that comment and you quoted it by my username in a fraudulent way... You should have made your own comment of "faith" instead of changing my word and then quoting it as my actual comment to soothe your own purpose. |
dremmy: I need help. From your narration, you seem to understand every point in the opening post, but why are you still asking the very questions that are answered in it? Well, I like to touch the issue of uncles as sponsors..: An uncle who had not been financially responsible over you, and is not your legal guardian would not be accepted as your sponsor for the simple reason that he can not satisfy the visa officer of the personal benefit of sponsoring you |
Amosiye: because God almighty is on my side. His grace is sufficient for me.Do you really need to tamper with my comment, editing it to soothe your own purpose? This was my original comment: Vicjustice: Why was your application refused? But you fraudulently changed it to the opposite despite all your talk about God and faith in him. Hypocrite, this is the exact thing that is putting people like you into trouble with visa applications and getting you banned... |
Castalia: Dear Gurus,1) Actually, visa application fee of any category can not be refunded. 2) The "earlier" application is invalid and forfeited 3) You can't do anything about it, you just have to let go. This particular application would have no effect on future applications unless they contradict. @ 3sha4lyf, i acknowledge your opinion, and I will understand if you disagree with my answers, kindly express your disagreements and the differences would be worked out. |
festop2002: I need help in completing the income and expenditure section on the Uk visitor application form (UK visas and immigration). Questions such as attached pictureWhat "help" do you need? |
Lepsywitty: pansophist I have checked the website and read through. I saw €60 as visa fee.(Single Entry) €100, double entry. And it says visa fee is Non refundable. Before I can make suggestions, I want you to declare your situations and circumstances, that should include social, occupational, financial, professional and family circumstances etc. Also, state your purpose of wanting to travel to Ireland... |
mikeyj: House please do I need to book an appointment for visit visa application? Or I just walk in to the ikeja office with my documents. When you finished with the form, and at the end, there will be instructions about what to do next. |
Kunleoduwole: Thank you for the response,I intend getting another passport for any intended future travel.so what do you advise I do whenever am applying to any other country apart from UK..thanksSimply stay in Nigeria until you are capable to genuinely travel abroad. |
Kunleoduwole: .Thank you so much bro,for a favorable response.i have written a letter through an immigration lawyer,I would like to know,if my passport is released can I still use the passport to apply to any country i.e shengen states or should i go ahead to get another passport. The passport is still valid for visa applications to any country, even for the UK, but the negative thing is that the fake stamps would be the focus of attention, and every visa application could be refused for reason of that. Now, if you go for a new passport, you would still need to declare your experience with the UK embassy whenever you apply for a visa to any country because, there is a field for travel history as well as previous visa applications: So, what are you going to answer to the question: "Have you ever been refused a visa to any other country?" If you answered YES, then you will need to explain the reasons, but if you answered NO (or lied about the reason), you would be banned for using deception. To be honest, your situation doesn't look good |
omolizzy: Written by Olusegun Iselaiye. With all due respects, i think this article doesn't make sense, how could immigration officers be ripping off pages from people's passport and get away with it? Whoever it is that told you this story is a liar and a monger of lies, otherwise, s/he might have been one of those who attempted to travel with questionable passports or other forged documents: this is the only way that immigration officers can have the guts to rip off the passport because, they know very well that many Nigerians who are genuinely qualified to travel abroad are also capable of taking serious actions against them. |
larrymoore111: The amount is definitely more than enough, but the money is not the main thing that the visa officer is interested in, they rather like to look into the origin and how the fund was built up, they are also interested in what you do and how you plan your activities: just ensure that you meet the general requirements[/quoteWell, i assume that you are single, therefore, i think you are good to go as i do not see what is lacking. Waoh! It seems like here has been a battle zone |
Yahyabutt: Dear !I repeatedly answered your questions to the best of my ability and yet, you kept on asking the same answered question even though i explained again and again that your nature of (cash-in-hand) job is unacceptable as it does not meet the requirement especially as you work in an unregistered sector: so, therefore, you asking me how you can "justify" your employment is something that you need to answer yourself as someone who knows how your system works in Pakistan. Here is the quote of your last query: Yahyabutt: Respected Sir! |
Kunleoduwole: Hello House, yesterday i was at the uk vfs to pick my application .Upon opening the package,i discovered my passport was not inside, but the note inside the pack said my passport has been retained because it had counterfeit Nigerian and Ghana immigration stamps. Though prior to my applying for a uk visa, last year i gave my passport to an agent to help me stamp on it to show fat i had a little travel history. The note further said enquiries will be undertaken before the passport will be forwarded to Nigeria immigration abuja..Dont know what to do now.Only in Nigeria you see Syndicates calling themselves "Agents", Criminals calling themselves "Consultants", Touts calling themselves "Connection-men", Nuisances calling themselves "Hustlers", Scammers calling themselves "Smart-guys", Thieves calling themselves "Guy-men" Extortioners calling themselves "Business-men" and Document-forgers calling themselves "Bank-Insiders". Next time, beware of "agents": that is if there will ever be a next time since you have been banned for 10 years. |
Olisedinma: Hello House,No, as a person travelling to an EU country, you do not require a transit visa nor a tourist visa to enter Turkey |
larrymoore111: Justwise n 3sha4lyf's n gurus in the houseThe amount is definitely more than enough, but the money is not the main thing that the visa officer is interested in, they rather like to look into the origin and how the fund was built up, they are also interested in what you do and how you plan your activities: just ensure that you meet the general requirements |
missyjolanda: Hello,If not that you specified you are "looking for fellow Nigerians" only, i would have suggested you consider other alternatives. Well, i still want to suggest these links to you. they might just be what you need. By the way, i'm in Ireland, south-west. 3sha4lyf: VicJ, truth to be told, that was a good question the poster asked... simply put, "do I wait for sms from vfs or status change on their website or go to their office after 2 working days?To you, it was a good question, but to me, it is nothing but one other person asking the same question which has been asked over and over and over again. The question wasn't directed at you, but to me, so I treated it as I deemed appropriate. Again, it seems you people are angry with me for not answering it, otherwise, tell me what I did or said wrong? |
AceMiss: Well,Mr Vicjustice I apologise for bothering you with my trivial and irrelevant question.Going forward,I will ensure my questions are directed to the right people. But I still believe you need to be educated on how to talk to people, nothing gives you the license to speak to people in such a manner especially when you don't know who's on the other side.Have you ever heard the sound of my voice? How then did you say that I need to be educated on how to speak? By the way, how did I "speak" ill to you, I mean, what bad language did I use to you? |
abaskekere: You do a very good job here bro, but you need to understand that not everyone is as experienced in issues like this like you are, and some time anxiety sets in...Vic J u bash people with too many harsh words and discourage them as well, not so cool to be so strict. no offence meantFirst of all, what did i say or do wrong? Well, i prefer to be strict when I feel I have to, and i do my voluntary job the way I prefer provided I do not break the forum rules... I am not under anyone's employment nor am I being paid for what I do, so, I don't need anyone to lecture me on how to do it. |
AceMiss: Justwise will NEVER give a response like that. Just because we ask for advice and opinions doesn't mean you should be rude in your responses. Always remember that nobody know it all,not even you.Well, I am not Justwise hence I ignored the irrelevant question when you first directed it to Justwise, and I only responded when you invited me into it. I never said that I know it all, and I expect every one (including you) to know the meaning of that text: and yet, you chose to ask it because it is free to ask whatever irrelevant question: and to expect one to waste his time responding to such while there are more reasonable queries that need attentions |
AceMiss: AceMiss: Justwise and VicJustice......still waiting for your responses. MerciSo, you require Justwise or a "guru" to interpret the text for you in other to understand the English? |
3sha4lyf: Sorry VicJustice, that clause " the documents in the name of other person is readily available here in nigeria " doesn't necessarily mean that the applicant submitted false documents. It may mean, and in this case, that the documents provided are not sufficient enough to convince the ECO of a genuine relationship between the applicant and his claimed cousin because, like they clearly state, documents are easily ready from any source in Nigeria.I have personally seen many occasions in which the particular expression was used, and all of them are regarding the presentation of fake documents that are readily available even at the eembassy's gate. If only Hopetee (the complainant) would provide the exact context in which the phrase was made, that would have answered the question. 3sha4lyf: As per 30k-salary-fit-for-travel, well, I made that suggestion based on applicants claims that (s)he as another source of income cum business asides employment. And don't forget that applicant claims to also have apprx. 1.2NGN sitting somewhere in done bank.Well, the amount of money that he has is not what satisfies the Visa Officers, buy the sources of income and the method of earnings are what they are interested in... And as we can see from the obvious, his official earning is just N30k, and his other sources of income are undocumented and unregistered: and even with a suggestion that he registers his business, it will still take a whole (taxation) year for the business to meet the requirement. |
3sha4lyf: Hey, you may need to address the issues raised in your refusal letter before you attempt a reapplication or you'll waste ur funds and get another refusal. Reason 1, they were right, you've admitted u didn't include ur palm reaping. Be sure to state the habits of your income eg. How often the monies come in, what range etc. Also add supporting documents like receipts (I'm really not sure if you can pass with this or you have to show proof of its business registration but I'll imagine you can put this as your informal pet-project aside your job- pls don't quote me on this. Lol)Do you really encourage him to connect the dots and reapply despite the fact that he officially earns N30k a month? Also, you don't seem to understand his point #3 as you don't seem to be familiar with this particular expression "the documents in the name of other person is readily available here in nigeria". This expression (which is used by Visa Officers) means that the document in question is fake and that they are used to seeing similar ones in other people's name. Except I am the one who is misunderstanding the issues, this, in my opinion, is a 10 years ban |
nickson03: My wife was refuse a visa and we when to court and the judge allow our appeal. Now my wife had be called to bring her passport to the british embasy in abuja for her visa. My question does any know how long for they to issue the visa or how long it take for the passport to be ready for collection?Whether you know how long or you know for sure that a visa is guaranteed, it is very unwise to purchase air ticket before you have the visa in hand: A bird in hand worth than a million in the jungle. |
hopetee: hi every one. can some one help me here, is urgent. i was refused entry clearance by the UK embersy reasons thatYou officially earn N30k, and you want to visit the UK as a tourist? Anyway, you have been banned for 10 years for the reason given in point number 3. |
ogompaul: please house, what are the relevant support documents from my legal guardian?? he has been the one sponsoring my schooling and living expenses ryt from my secondary school but I've never been asked to provide evidence to provide dat he's my legal guardian, pls kindly assist me on how to go about this issue of legal guardianship for visa purposes. Thanks. If you call him your legal guardian, that means he has the legal documents to that effect, so that is the document that you need |
sboba: Hello Vicjustice sboba: Yes she is going to declare thisThough, your combined income is ok, but I am a little concerned that your savings are not encouraging for the category of the visa sought: be aware that some delivery costs can amount to over $20.000 especially when there are complications requiring the use of incubators or other life support machines. I do not wish this experience on your wife, but it is reasonably to understand some reasons why visa officers are not encouraged to approve such visa to applicants who are not very wealthy. You might have have thought of this idea because you have seen or have heard of those who traveled abroad to have their babies, but trust me, these people use deception and conceal their pregnancies: but they eventually get banned (some for life). The best way to go about it is to obtain a long term visa so she can use the later period of the visa for the baby delivery, but yet, it is not entirely legitimate: she might need to contact the embassy |
abaskekere: @3sha4lyf, JWise and VicJ...pls my mom's e passport expires in May next year, she has been to the UK severally, and she wants to apply for 2years visit visa now, please can she do this or it must be done on a new passport with longer validity, pls your advices, thanks all. abaskekere: @3sha4lyf, JWise and VicJ...pls my mom's e passport expires in May next year, she has been to the UK severally, and she wants to apply for 2years visit visa now, please can she do this or it must be done on a new passport with longer validity, pls your advices, thanks all.She can use the passport to apply even for a 10 years visa provided the validity date is more than 6 months. A valid visa in an expired passport is usable. |
filcast: pls why so?Because, it is current: money can flow in and out without much restrictions |
DisGuy: Do you blame them? with this kinda story when a grown up student dont know her real age, where an educational organisation like WAEC can 'give' somebody a date of birth, when it take 20plus years to 'realise' the dates on your documents smhExactly my thoughts. Ornaments: Please NL, dnt jst view this pls drop a matured comment,Well, I advice you to visit your local immigration centre and they would refer you to Abuja where they can work on it. But remember that nothing goes for nothing. |
emma2ways: Hello friendsThen, submit a document that says you will come back... |
