Afternoon guys, I've been thinking about something for a while now. can you receive money to your payoneer account as payment from an individual? similar to say PayPal? what do I send the person? In order to receive my money into my payoneer account. I'm just curious... any one willing to explain this in details to me?

Mustack: It's your choice. I'm asking if it's possible to ask for this particular model a new one? instead of refund, but the guy at the pick up station said I could only get refund and then order again separately. |
Phones › Re: UMIDIGI DISCUSSION THREAD by vickertony(m): 8:42pm On May 22, 2020 |

de3lar: The best way to contact them is via mail.
Someone has provided their mail for you. I've returned it. |
Phones › Re: UMIDIGI DISCUSSION THREAD by vickertony(m): 8:39pm On May 22, 2020 |
saint2ace: You can take it back to the pickup centre, for them to help you process the return but they'll still ask you to call customer care.
Alternatively if u're in Lagos and on the mainland, their experience centre at Yaba e-center can collect and process the return for you.
The choice is urs I've done that, I'm not base in lagos shaa, I de Abia, I waited almost a week to get the phone. I've sent it back to them, through the pick up station here. |

osic: Fill this form, you will be contacted in 2 working days. You'll be asked if you want a refund processed or you will like to purchase another item https://www.jumia. com .ng /sp-contact/ I went to pick up station, where I picked it earlier, filled a form on jumia app, then I dropped the phone with them. so I have sent it back. waiting for refund, would have loved to order this particular phone again but I didn't see your mention earlier. I felt bad today, me that was planning on how to show my friends the beauty of umidigi phones. |

de3lar: Vickertony Sorry for your experience.
One thing I know is that you didn't have to drain the battery before you can charge it.
Let me share my own experience.
I got the phone on Wednesday and when I got back home, I wanted to remove the sim tray but I mistakenly on the device. I met the battery at 97% I just setup the fingerprint and pin then I switched it off back.
I on generator to charge it and I met the battery at 84% from 97%.
If you check the nylon that was on the screen, it was written there to charge it for like 30minute if it doesn't power on. But so as to avoid stories that touch, I kuku charge it till it reached 100%.
Request for a refund and you're free to go.
What was the percentage of the battery when you switch on the phone? I met the battery at 81% so what's the way forward, I called jumia its saying network busy, what are the steps to return it? should I return it back at the pick up station? do you think is just the battery had died down? I didn't read that nylon Pasted on the screen. |
Phones › Re: UMIDIGI DISCUSSION THREAD by vickertony(m): 11:49am On May 22, 2020 |
zxcvbnmlkjhgfds: it's possible. Mail Jumia customer care and request for a swap or you use the refund to purchase the phone. You have nothing to worry about once it's not a fault caused by you. @Mizik and other Jumia agents in the house could better enlighten you. the fault is not from me, I have said it already na, I only tried setting finger print and pattern when the phone hang. |

zxcvbnmlkjhgfds: From the initial post, it'll seem like you got a defective product. I'll advise you return it asap. Returns on Jumia are not as stressful as you think. Just return the product, pack it has you got it and expect your refunds in few days. I'm speaking from numerous experience. can I return it and get this particular phone again? I'm confused, everything worked perfectly until I tried setting that finger print and pattern. Infact I'm shocked, I love to return it but I like the phone, I love to get this particular product too, after getting a refund. is it possible they exchange it for me, instead of refund? |
Phones › Re: UMIDIGI DISCUSSION THREAD by vickertony(m): 8:58am On May 22, 2020 |
saint2ace: Could be possible you got a defective device, but not to worry. Just call the Jumia customer service line and schedule a return. They'll fix a date and send someone to come pick it up, then check the device themselves, if all corresponds with what u claim then u'll get a refund which u can use in reordering. everything I just said is what happened, I even took photos to test the camera, this thing just happened not up to 30 minutes now. I'm confused, I will call them. me that was planning to go out and get a new sim. the phone is plugged on my pc now and it's making noise like the pc is recognizing it and not recognizing it. Abi, it's because I have not charged it since I got it,coz I was planning to drain it before charging. |

I have Done that power button hold, it didn't work. how do I return it to Jumia, is it possible they gave me a defective phone? This my first time of using jumia. |

VictorBode: I charge $30/hr on upwork and being a Nigerian has zero effect.
The problem is most people dont know how to send proposals and optimize their profiles.
I'm also on fiverr too and still doing fine.
What people dont know is that Nigeria is better than so many countries. what's your niche and skills you offer Boss? |

naijacutee: Caveat: I'm Nigerian and on Upwork, but I don't live in Nigeria so I don't know if my advice counts.
From my experience as a black person on Upwork, I get around 1 out of 4 jobs I bid for. So basically, if I want a job I bid for 4.
I charge $35 an hour (I jumped from $7/ hour to $35/ hour after I woke up and realised my worth) and clients have no issues paying me my fees. If they can't afford it then no problems. Hi, I'm seeking to learn more from experienced freelancers, guess you are a copywriter. I hope to learn one or two from you, just started out fresh on fiverr, but I want to learn from you. I sent you pm, I'm a writer, copywriter. Best Regards. |

DontBullshitMe: Nigeria girls respond in such disappointing manner to guys they don't like. If a Nigeria girl digs you, she will always want a long and interesting conversation with you.
Once you sense a bit of reluctance in the response of any girl, end the chat immediately and never chat her up again but DO NOT BLOCK her. your last line tho, why shouldn't I block her? just curious to know. |
