I never thought I would share this publicly, but here we are.
After going through multiple failed IVF cycles, emotionally draining, financially heavy, and mentally exhausting,, I’ve decided to start the surrogacy process.
It’s not because I can’t carry a pregnancy. It’s because after repeated disappointments, I had to ask myself how many more cycles I was willing to go through.
IVF is not cheap. It’s not easy. And the emotional rollercoaster after each failed attempt is something only those who’ve experienced it truly understand.
So I made a decision: instead of another round of hope and heartbreak, I’m taking a different path.
I’ve officially started the surrogacy process, and as we progress, I’ll be sharing the journey, the screening, legal side, costs, emotions, and lessons.

Happy new year guys! Last time I was here, I had a failed cycle after using embryo glue, intralipids, acupuncture and all. I rested a little because we needed to recuperate from the millions that went down. Also travelling back and forth from the US was a struggle. Taking several days off work, and losing both time and money. We decided to try surrogacy. Grabbo hospital Abuja advised we look for a surrogacy agency. We did and went with Chris World surrogacy (someone here introduced me to them). To the glory of God…I am a mother of twin girls who are 1 year old now ( 1st try…2 surrogates = negative , 2nd try …. 2 surrogates positive). One of our surrogates lost her pregnancy after 4/5 weeks ( she was carrying one). The twins stayed, though they came early but are very healthy. This year, we are back to Grabbo for gender selection for a boy. Myself and two surrogates as advised by the agency. Testing is in a few days. Hoping for the best. IVF has no best hospital, you would have to pray, do research and ultimately do what works for you. Baby dust to us all. Plus the agency is affordable. Gender selection was not affordable and I promised not to do it again (about 12 million Naira for two donors). If you are like me and cannot afford to travel back and forth, you may consider surrogacy. My girls have their US passport valid for 5 years. The agency gave us all we needed for the embassy, also Grabbo hospital gave us all we needed too. All documents was accepted at the US consulate in Abuja one time. That’s why we have the liver to try again. So help me God.

I hope this info sets someone free or helps someone make a decision. Parental order is arranged by agency. I just watched a video on tiktok with a lady going back and forth to court to get parental order. I did not go through a single stress for that.

Mention your fears and discuss the option of cerclage (research about it).
You shall carry to term and deliver safely.

Happy Sunday mama’s.I am yet to get my Bfp but I know God has started his work in my Life and he will perfect it also.
I came to seek advice august regarding a fibroid measuring 36mm outside my womb and I was given many advice to get pregnant and work with a gynecologist ASAP as it might grow bigger but to my dismay after undergoing treatments and prayers and the fibroid increased to 44mm.
January 2 I went for scan because my period ceased and no bfp to discover another 40mm fibroid inside my womb and ovarian cyst.
I nearly fainted and start thinking of how to remove it and how to get money for Surgery.
Even dh was perplexed because the fibroid was just a seedling a year ago which they told me to ignore.
I took the result to my Mum and she told me to try herbal first and if no result I can go for the surgery.I just took the herbs they prepared for me to please her and I went for scan after a week and the outside one was 17mm and inside one was 14mm.I did not believe and told the scan guy to measure it again.How can two weeks scan be so different to each other.He did and said that is the result he cannot add to it.
I was happy and rushed down to collect another dose and did not go for scan again.
Yesterday I woke up with much pressure in my upper abdomen and the devil starting speaking to me that the fibroid is now bigger and I rebuked Satan.
I went for a scan that yesterday even took my mum along so that if the fibroid is there she can see and stop telling me to use herbs and go for surgery.
The Full abdominal scan showed ulcer and no single fibroid.
It took three of them to scan to convince me that madam you do not have fibroid.I know it is only God that can do it.
N.b: The herbs was not from Nigeria as the man got it from Cotonou.

As much as I hate being a carrier of bad news.. the possibility of survival of the baby outside the uterine cavity is very slim even in an hospital with neonatal care at 22 weeks... the birth weight will about 0.5kg or less... they don’t survive the first few hours because their organs are still extremely underdeveloped for extra uterine life..

The typical survival rate for premature babies born at 22 weeks ranges from 2 percent to 15 percent and is an uncommon event.

If your doctor can keep you on strict bed rest and the baby can stay extra 4-6 weeks which is not too visible before labour starts because of the membrane out already then viability with medical intervention increases..

Babies born at 28weeks and above have higher survival rate ...

I am so sorry for what you are going through..

I pray God intercede for you and give you the grace to accept whatever the outcome maybe....

Good morning house. Pls has anyone here used or heard of unique slim their fertility kit. They said it has a super kit for multiples pregnancy and normal kit for single pregnancy. Though the prices differ. The fertility kit is a natural solution to infertility. It comes as a kit which contains pills and fluid and the pills help to normalize the hormones of reproduction like LH FSH progesterone oestrogen and prolactin. In addition the pills helps to ensure that all cycles are ovulatory . On the other hand the fluid stabilizes the pH of the genital tract for the survival of sperms and also keeps the fallopian tubes patent and maintain a normal endometrium.

There is no specific time frame. Just keep checking ur account. I submitted my online app with upfront med on 15th July till now medical hasn't been updated.. So just chill and be prayerful.
