Hello mummies in the house, last year June 2019, after what seemed to be a perfect stress free pregnancy, I suddenly lost my son at 23 weeks due to pre-term labour/ incompetent cervix. We were in utter shock and disbelief. To God be the glory exactly one year later before the anniversary of my first loss, I was blessed with a BFP, hubby and I are so thankful and elated but also scared and anxious due to this incompetent cervix gist. Please mamas in the house, I need an advise on the questions I should be asking my OB/Gyn, I have an appointment in the next few weeks and want to be prepared. Also please pray for me that I will carry my baby till term and deliver like an Hebrew woman. Thank you. 3 Likes |

Hello Doctor, Please I need advise, I lost a pregnancy June 2019 due to Cervical insufficiency at 23-24 weeks.Conceieved through IUI due to PCOS Jan 2019. My husband and I are mentally ready to try again. The issue now is I have two fibroids but both outside my womb and my former OB/GYN believes it has nothing to do with the fibroid and advised a cerclage once we get pregnant again. We are torn with the option of removing the fibroid or just going ahead with TTC, also added with the PCOS we are using a more natural approach based on diet, exercise and good supplements, my cycle is 33-35 days. I would appreciate any tips/advise |

Good evening mamas,Am a First time mom and I am really confused and need your advise.i have been leaking watery discharge for weeks and didn’t know it was my amniotic fluid leaking until it followed with heavy bleeding with clots when I tried to poop.I ran to the hospital as early as 4am and they said I have low lying placenta at 21 weeks 3 days.I was put on bed rest and the bleeding stopped. At the point of discharge 2 days later I stated to spot again with same watery discharge and went to the rest room to clean up.While cleaning I noticed I was able to feel my water bag almost at the tip of my vagina and quickly alerted the Doctor. They tried to do an emergency Cerclage but could not.I have been placed on permanent bed rest and antibiotics to avoid infection. The doctors are telling me that at 22weeks my baby is not viable if I go into labour and would need to let go. My baby’s heart beat is still strong and he is kicking.I feel he should be given a chance since he is still alive than just write him off due to risk of infection,my blood pressure has been fine and temp ok.I need advise should I transfer to another hospital with neo natal unit as I discovered they have no neo natal unit at this present hospital.Am just a jumble of emotions and don’t know what to do.I need advise. Please help |

Guys i think on some level the report is correct, look at some of the areas the government had tried re-shaping in lagos, what have we done to maintain some of the roads, drainage systems that the govt had worked on. What about our own duty to land? see dirt and rubbish everywhere on the newly built lanes and roads leading towards orile and mile 2...the most annoying part is the market people, they dump dirt on the pavement, block the newly installed gutters with dirt...my point is we also have our own duty as residents, our community responsibility if you may call it so. iif we do this am sure govt will do more... 1 Like |
