The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 20 suspected internet fraudsters in Benin City, Edo State.

Stunned Qantas Airways passengers watched out their windows as a large python clung to a plane’s wing during a two-hour flight from Australia’s northeastern city of Cairns to Papua New Guinea.

The 3-meter (10-foot) python fought to stay on the wing, pulling itself forward only to be pushed back by the frigid wind.

Passenger Robert Weber videotaped the struggle and told Australia’s Fairfax Media that the wind whipping the snake against the side of the plane left a bloody smear.

The python managed to hang on until the plane landed in Port Moresby, but a Qantas spokesman said the creature was dead on arrival.It was reminiscent of the 2006 Hollywood thriller Snakes on a Plane

Journalists and broadcasters in Ondo State today were thrown into mourning as they were startled with news of the untimely death of iconic TV personality and veteran broadcaster, Mr. Ayo Omotosho.

The news broke this afternoon in Akure. The circumstances of his death remained sketchy as at press time.

Ayo Omotosho belongs to the first generation of newscasters in Ondo State. He was notable for his baritone voice and innovative approach to broadcasting. He mentored many of the reigning television and radio stars and was particularly noted for his capability to inspire them on the job.

Ayo Omotosho was the first Director General of the first FM station in Ondo State where he motivated his staff to secure external finance for the building of an administrative block for the station without government spending a dime. He also served in the past as Special Assistant to Governor Adebayo Adefarati on Corporate Affairs.

He will be sourly missed by many.

It's no more news that Bisi Komolafe is dead.
The News now is that, large numbers of Fans and ANTP members Nationwide came to sympathise with the family of the deceased.
The talented thespian Bisi, departed this world at the age of 26 on Monday, December 31st, 2012 at the UCH where she battled with an undisclosed ailment. A close friend of Bisi told Pyemedia that she actually had a Spiritual attack (Unconfirmed).
The remains of the beautiful actress was committed to mother earth on Friday, January 4th, 2013 at Catholic Church,
Okepadi,Salvation Army way,Ibadan.
During the burial service, the Reverend who anchored the Funeral Service made it known to the congregation, that the actress made a confession according to the Catholic Christian Doctrine and she was anointed and even took the holy communion before she died.
On sighting Oluomotunde Ijaodola, the Canada based Nigerian husband- to- be of Bisi, he was seen crying and after sometime fainted when he got to the burial ground but was rescued by his close friends.
Meanwhile, Odunlade Adekola was among the crowd crying because of the great loss in the yoruba Nollywood but his fans at Olosa oko street in Ibadan didn't allow him to cry any further. They rushed in their large numbers to embrace him, shouting and appreciating his recent movie"MUFUTAU OLOSA OKO".*what a coincidence*.

The Nigerian entertainment industry was thrown into a mourning mood on Monday, December 31st, 2012 when news broke that popular Yoruba movie star,Bisi Komolafe is dead.

The talented thespian died at the University College Hospital (UCH) in Ibadan.

Findings revealed that Bisi battled with an undisclosed illness that kept her in and out of hospital for more than 3 months.
A close friend of the actress revealed to us that Bisi was a few weeks pregnant before the illness started, and that the pregnancy had to be terminated at the hospital to save her life when her condition got worse.
Further digs by us revealed that her death was as a result of several spiritual attacks she suffered lately.

Before Bisi’s death she was said to have suffered several spiritual attack and was hospitalised for weeks.
Narrating her sickness and how she died a source who prefers to remain anonymous said ”There is no doubt Bisi died of spiritual attack.She complained about several attacks in her sleep and the many nightmares she had.

Some people even threatened her through text messages but because of her nature she didn’t pick fight with anyone.
We actually thought she had gotten over the attack but is so disheartening that she finally lost the battle.” Bisi was a rare gem until her death and she was one lady that family and friends always wanted to be with.
Friends, family and well-wishers have been visiting her family house to offer their condolences
It would be recalled that few months back,Bisi was enmeshed in a husband snatching saga.
The beautiful actress was said to have broken a Canada based Nigerian couple's marriage.

Their names are Oluomotunde Ijaodola and Niniola.

The couple,who are 30 years apiece,got married in 2007 at Abeokuta Sports Centre,Abeokuta,Ogun State capital before relocating to Canada along with their two children,Simi and Dara.While Niniola worked as a nurse,Tunde shuttled between Canada and Nigeria selling cars.
The hubby reportedly had some issues with the wife and Bisi Komolafe was fingered as the brain behind the palaver.
Shortly after the whole saga, we learnt from an insider that Bisi has been a big headache to her enemies.

The country home of Nigeria’s former President, Olusegun Obasanjo at Olusegun Osoba Hilltop in Abeokuta, Ogun state has been damaged by a fire outbreak, which consumed the office building in the complex.

The fire which lasted for about 30 minutes was allegedly caused by a power surge.

The fire started just about 20minutes after the former president left his Abeokuta Hilltop Mansion residence on Thursday.
One of the attendants in the house, who does not want to be identified, said that as soon as the blaze was noticed, men of the Ogun state fire service and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps were contacted.

The inferno was reportedly brought under control.

Singer Toni Braxton has been hospitalized in Los Angeles.⁠
The R&B performer says in a Tweet on Friday that she’s been hospitalized because of “minor health issues” related to Lupus. According to her spokeswoman who confirmed the hospitalization but had no other details disclosed that “But no worries!,” Braxton has assured her fans that she will be out of the hospital any day now.”

The 45-year-old singer of “Un-break My Heart” revealed two years ago she has Lupus, a potentially deadly autoimmune disease that killed Braxton’s uncle. She also suffers from a narrowing of the blood vessels in her heart.

Two explosions followed by sporadic gunshot have been heard at the Zoo road area of Kano city.

Eye witnesses’ accounts say a police post in the area was the target of the attack.

According to reports, two men riding on a motorcycle hauled the explosives at the target around the densely populated Zoo road roundabout, injuring many persons.

The number of casualty is still unclear as sporadic gunshots rang out around the area up till 7:30AM.

Residents in the area are reported to have fled.

An explosion was reported around the same neighbourhood on Wednesday.

Zaria Road, a major traffic inflow to the city, was also barricaded by security agents after explosions in a luxurious bus injured four people.
