Two truths can coexist... sometimes jumping on trends can either make or mar you...it's a two edged sword. The world is moving at a very fast pace and what you knew 3 years ago can become redundant this year. |
Wow...thanks for enlightening us. |
And they will come out hardened. |
Nomerci:Make una pity the guy Biko...u dy even add amount...na u suffer pass? Ask him for games so you can win and not begging. Peace 👏 |
Chukwudi Iwuchukwu dn cash out with advert na...bad man. |
A mutual friend tried same sh***t with me with a known reputable company called Cargill...he asked for my details, told me about a job in Ivory Coast...and said I should start saving money to come over for transportation, feeding and accommodation...that the company has already subsidized the price and that an agent will be taking me from Lagos to the place so as not to inconvenience myself...I already knew it was a scam and played along...I come tell am to share his ID card and address, mumu boy go send NIN enrollment card for me and one picture he took with the company's vest...laf no gree me...na so I reverse am so tey...he come tire for my matter... Reapers are everywhere...of it's too good to be true, then it's definitely a scam. |
Hmmm...to thank God na for saving his life...it's not easy to survive dare devil criminals. |
[quote author=MITCHELL96 post=124562733]I can never work for anybody to earn peanut. I've always told myself that I'll be a creator of something and will rather employ people instead. It's when you don't realize your worth and capabilities, that's when you settle for less. I remember when Dinero told me back in 2017 "Mitchell, I can never work for someone to get paid 12 times in a year" Dinero now has a Benz, Ferrari and is now living outside Nigeria with multiple assets to his name. I'll recommend this few books I've read to help build your mindset and mentality (don't joke with it) 1. 48 laws of power by Robert Greene 2.Rich dad poor dad by Robert Kiyosaki 3.One Truth, One Law: I Am, I Create By Erin Werley 4. Declutter your mind by SJ Scott. 5. Do it today by Darius Foroux 6. The psychology of money by Morgan Housel These are the ones I have in PDF format and I'm not charging anybody for it. Other great books I have as hard copy aren't listed here. Just helping those that want to help themselves. Can you send to me? I need them in PDF format please |

Who are you please? You're so intelligent, exposed and have a way of engaging people emotionally. Like you want us to succeed by all means....ever since I discovered this thread, I've learned a lot... please continue. Na God go bless you ah swear. You too much. Sir/ Ma. Na this kind mentors we the youths needs whether virtually or offline. |
You're very correct...so many job opportunities will emerge both directly and indirectly... Competent hands looking for new jobs, challenges and with connections will get that refinery jobs, thereby making their former positions vacant. But what can we youths do to take advantage? |
This is the kind of post we want to be seeing everyday making the front page of this wonderful forum...all your testimonies really lifted me... I'm learning Tech already with my phone... just watching videos on YouTube.. I have already set up an Upwork account, I have LinkedIn account too... saving up gradually for a laptop... Digital skills all the way...make I list hot ones for anyone willing to learn...Cyber security, Block chain technology, UI/UX, Data Analysis, Machine Learning...tech too many... someone suggested registering in any online tech school, I think it's a wise suggestion...all of us go make am. FG or no FG... |
It's sheer wickedness... I think my place of work is the worst... I've never seen. Since this year till now, not even a single month has been paid to any worker here...not to talk of backlogs of last year... I made a resolution last year to get into Tech but it's as if the devil is trying to hinder that ambition. Money ritual is not only when someone kills u for money, this modern day slavery we are passing through in the hands of this company owner is ritual... I've become a shadow of my self, low self-esteem... sometimes I'll even scroll through my throwback pics and compare it to my present self and I'll just SMH...I dn turn introvert by force. Everyday na so I dy sleep for LinkedIn applying for jobs...my brother fear any company that is owned or ran by a politician. And I learned alot from here... e.g not quitting your job until there's an alternative. Shame just hold me. Abeg my wonderful people, I need a job in any location as long as there will be accomodation with moderate salary... I'm an Engineer with ample years of experience in diverse engineering fields. I can fit in different roles and also a fast learner. I have always been big on creating jobs for the betterment of many but I still need salary to kick start the journey since I can't borrow. Biko nu. |
He go track am later...we no where e go end. |
Abuja peeps and all white parties ehh are 5&6...and their hearts no white at all...ndi otu nzuzo. Alex what of ehmm this girl Jennifer Ephraim...ur paddy and Regina Daniels? Dem no show? U no dy give us Maduka gist again because he no win and u dn cash out. |
HumbleOptimist:None of the above Sir... I'm based in the southern part of Nigeria... I shuttle between PH, ABA, Enugu and Asaba... |
It's a good initiative but some of the aforementioned skills can take you more than 3 months to learn or master. E.g Automobile, AC & Ref, etc. And youths nowadays doesn't like to suffer ooo. A time will come when people will be throwing away their gadgets and equipments when it develops minor faults because of the unavailability of technicians. |
It hasn't been easy... sometimes e come resemble whether Dem curse person...this country sef.. person go get certificate+ skills yet hunger go dy flog am left, right, and center. Abeg make we vote right ooo...na wicked leaders put us for this depression mode we dy. Some days na 1 square meal, other better days na 2 square meal... Life is just unnecessarily hard. ![]() |
You're smart and also writes very well... So many lessons and humor to take from it. Kudos. |
My brother, Abiriba is worth all the hype... very beautiful place...they are predominantly importers/ business men...They call the place small London, I haven't been to London though but I can tell you Abiriba is so elegant. That's why from 15th of December every year, they have started traveling for Xmas celebrations. No wonder they are very proud, it's not their fault...they are so rich. |
An eye opener... Most employers doesn't care...if you like fall sick and die, immediately you'll be replaced... So instead of working long hours and burning out and thus depleting your health gradually, look for a way and increase productivity at a minimal time interval. Invest heavily in yourself by having multiple streams of income. If company A pays #5,000 and company B comes with a higher offer of #10,000 with vast window to grow, no reason am twice...move to B ASAP. |
That means na crowd dy involved in this drug business oo... almost everyday NDLEA is bursting this drug dealers and yet they keep devising means to outsmart the authorities...who would have thought? |
Abeg oo...he should go to UAE or USA...I don't want this young squad to fizzle out before their time. |
Very funny... |
It's nice that you're trying to sell yourself to potential recruiters and business partners... But try and proofread your sentences. Good luck. |
Keep it up my people...let's be our brother's keeper... integrity and hardwork is key to sustainable work/life relationships |
