Does that change our collective problems as a Nation?
Discussing the politics of a country that might not exist even before 2023 with the way things are going.
Politicians are selfish & self-centered. Our crop of leaders here in Nigeria & Africa deserve to be beaten to pulp.
This is just another reason to defect & give Ebonyi state to APC.
Nigerian youths within the age of 15-45 years constitute 71% percent of our population.
It's time for us to take over, our fathers generation have failed us.

APC & PDP is like a criminal that is about to be convicted, he has to chose whether to die by hanging (PDP) or to die by shooting (APC). Any which way, he has to die. No ideological differences between APC & PDP.

Politics / How Nigerian Police & Military Are Increasing The Cost Of Road Transportation by VickypediaPHC: 1:49pm On Aug 21, 2020
This article have become very necessary, as the Executive arm of government especially Nigeria Police & more recently, Nigerian Military, that are meant to be law enforcement agencies, have hitherto led to increased cost of transportation on Nigerians commuters. It's is well proven that over 85% of Nigerians travel by Road, hence the hike in transportation fare should not only be attributed to mostly increase in fuel, diesel, inflation and increase in the standard of living.
Nigeria Police and the Military are also major contributors to this high cost of transportation bedeviling Nigerians on the high way, via the following ways:
1. The increase in Road block & military check point all over the country as a result of security challenges by Boko Haram, Farmers Herdsmen clashes, activities of IPOB and Niger Delta Militants have enhance the level of bribery & extortion of security agents in Nigeria.
After a chat with a bus driver in one of the states in southern Nigeria, where the driver alleged that police & solider at various locations extort monies from them per trip, hence they have to shift some of those financial burdens on their passengers by increasing fare charges, under the disguise of fuel and inflation.
2. It's has been widely believe that some security personnel's in Nigeria are aiding & conniving with criminals to unleash several crimes on Nigerians traveling by road, this have made some towns and villages a "No Go Area". Hence, transporters who en route to these presumed " No Go Areas" charge higher cost of transportation for commuters who might compulsorily go to these towns and villages for business, visits & other purposes.
3. The increasing rate of killings of bus & taxi drivers in Nigeria by Nigeria Police & military has partly contributed to the increase in cost of transportation in Nigeria.
4. Experience have shown that police and military extortion's varies from State to state in Nigeria, some could be as high as N500 while some states, police and military extort N50 and above. The state commissioners of Police & Military Generals in various divisions in all states of the federation cannot deny not having knowledge of the levels of extortion's and these illegalities there subordinates have subjected Nigerians into, that is a clear deviation from the professionalism that goes with their jobs as law enforcement agencies. This show of shame by Nigerian security agents have psychologically made Nigerians to believe that Nigerian Police and military cannot change. Hence, since they can't beat them, you might have to join them.
One might attribute this levels of corruption by security agents on poor remunerations of security personnel's, but what ever the reasons might be, does not warrant this level of wickedness on Nigerians. They (Security agents) knew they aren't well paid & catered for before swearing an oath to discharge their duties efficient and with all honesty, hence one should not attribute any excuse to this shameful act.
Nigeria Police and Defence Headquarters must do something before it gets out of hand. They must find lasting solutions to eradicate this trend by security agents if Nigeria must make progress as a Nation.

Jobs/Vacancies / Open Letter To Nigerian HR Managers/recruiters. by VickypediaPHC: 11:42am On Jan 08, 2019
Unemployment in Nigeria has become a very serious issue amongst educated youths in Nigeria. As much as people have advocated for Enterprenuership as a driving force behind every growing economy, it is equally important to under that some individuals are career oriented and can only do business on part time to have more streams of income.
For me, Enterprenuership in Nigeria isn't was it is in other more coordinated economies of the world, the word ENTERPRENUERSHIP is been used by our Political class to shy away from their responsibility of creating jobs in the public sector and they haven't created the right business environment.

I write this short but fact-based article based on recent happenings in Nigeria by HR Managers/Recruiters. I have made few observations that I will love to share here;

THE A-FACTOR
Most HR Officers and recruiters have adopted the habit of technically taking advantage of most job seekers, you ask for 5 years experience, not more than 28 years yet you have a terrible and unfair employee emoluments, salary and poor remunations. Take advantage of high demand against supply is no yardstick for such unfair practices.
HR officers/Recruiters want quality personnels at cheap and degrading salaries. Most Job seekers have spent much in aquiring expensive but relevant skills and experience, only to be offered peanuts as remunations. For some recruiters, it's another way of telling you that they aren't interested in recruiting you.

THE B-FACTOR
Some HR Managers and recruiters gather young graduate and experienced professional just to make mockrey of them. Why invite a job seeker for an interview only to tell him or her that they don't meet the job requirements. Did you (recruiter) not go through their CV/Resume before inviting them for the interview? Some are waiting for slightest opportunity for 1st class graduates to make a simple mistake, sometimes out of nervousness just to insult or question the authenticity of their certificate. Attitudes like this creates negative & biased feelings amongst job seekers, it's very unprofessional and has to stop!

THE C-FACTOR
Some HR Managers and recruiters invite job seekers for an interview when they have gotten somebody or already have someone in mind to offer the job opening to. The just waste people's precious time and money just to end up not taking anyone of them. Job seekers in Nigeria this day go as far as applying for jobs in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt and other states where opportunities exist even when they are not residing in those states because of the unemployment problems in Nigeria. Some enter night buses, fly airplanes and make sacrifices only to be technically mistreated. It's in human and very uncivil. Needless inviting someone for a job you have someone in mind, you conduct interviews to fulfill righteousness.

THE D-FACTOR
HR Managers and recruiters should try to avoid religious, gender, age, racial, University/polytechnic discrimination and physically challenged during recruitment excercises. As much as some could be used to reduce the number of applicants, some job openings should give equally and fair treatments to everyone.
Conclusively, these above unfair and unprofessional treatment of Job seekers by HR Managers and recruiters in Nigeria should be looked into by Nigerian government and Nigerian Labour Congress. To all HR Managers and Recruiters who have been unbaised, professional and fair to Job seekers, keep up the good work, also to all Job seekers, never give up, a breakthrough awaits you.

Jobs/Vacancies / Npower: An Open Letter From Rivers State Youths by VickypediaPHC: 11:11am On Nov 28, 2018
This is over 300 days after over 110 youths of Rivers State were trained and enrolled under the Npower Tax Programme in Federal Treasury Academy Orozo Abuja FCT, no single Beneficiary have been paid their N30,000 stipends by Npower NG for 10 months now despite most of us being deployed to Port Harcourt Airport Omagwa for the VAIDS programme.
Letters have been written to the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo who is In-charge of Npower through DHL, Ministry of Finance Abuja and Rivers State Internal Revenue Service RIRS Port Harcourt have equally being notified in writing, detailing all our ordeals.
This is barely less than three (3) months to the General Elections yet Npower NG is boasting of the success of the programme all over Nigeria despite complaining to several of it's social media handles what we her personnels in Rivers State are going through.

Rivers State Government through RIRS cleared told us that Rivers State did not sign up to the Federal Govt VAIDS programme, they denied having any knowledge of the existence of Npower Tax Programme in Rivers State, hence they cannot give you letters of deployment after working since February till now. They directed us to inform Npower NG to instruct Federal In-land Revenue Service FIRS to give us deployment letters.
Npower NG have denied it's personnels under N-TAX in Rivers State, claiming the problem is very POLITICAL, recently coming out to say that Rivers State Npower Tax CTLOs have not payment or deployment issues.

We are made to believe that someone somewhere is seating against our payments, intentionally denying Rivers State Youths from benefitting from this Programme and linking it up as being Political.
We will not relent until Federal Govt pay us all our salary arrears. We will continue to make our voices heard until someone will come to our plea. We equally will not trade blames to Rivers State Government or Npower NG only, as both authorities are both to be blamed.
Thanks! #WhyAlwaysRivers

Politics / Re: SURE-P Vs N-Power: Which Is More Transparent? by VickypediaPHC: 7:56pm On Nov 09, 2018
Npower, but Federal Govt is punishing Rivers State in Npower, especially Npower Tax. They have not been paid, attributing it to Rivers State Government. Also, 2016 Npower was more transparent than that of 2017. States like Osun & Zamfara has more beneficiaries than Rivers State because of Political reason. I am an Npower Beneficiary from Rivers State, since February 2018, I have not been paid!
Jobs/Vacancies / NPOWER: An Open Letter To Federal Govt & Rivers State Government by VickypediaPHC: 8:03am On Nov 06, 2018
This letter has become very pertinent at this time as both the Federal Govt of Nigeria & Rivers State Government through their agencies ( Federal Ministry of Finance & Rivers State Internal Revenue Service RIRS) has decided to play Politics with the Youths of Rivers State.
Over 100 youths of Rivers State were meant to be beneficiaries of Federal Govt Npower Tax programme after their training at Federal Treasury Academy Orozo Abuja in September & October 2017 & February 2018 for Stream 9, 10 & 24 respectively. It is worthy to note that Rivers State alone account for 12% Tax generation in Nigeria, highest after Lagos State (37%) for the Federal Govt of Nigeria while Tax revenue account for over 60% of IGR of Rivers State, yet Community Tax Liaison Officers (CTLOs) who were key advocates of the Voluntry Asset & Income Declaration Scheme (VAIDS) an initiative of the Federal Govt that have yielded over N30b & have always advocated for Tax compliance on both Federal & state level have been abandoned.
Over 100 youths of Rivers State have been owed N30,000 stipends arrears of over 9months, some for 5months while some few have their status still on hold. Despite several attempt to get to the authorities of both the Federal Govt & Rivers State Government in writing & visitations have yield no result to the plight of these young youths. We have been denied a mere paper called "Deployment Letter" from Rivers State Internal Revenue Service RIRS, as Staff of the agency claim to be acting on orders from above, precisely from the Governor Rivers State since it is an initiative of the Federal Govt and hence we (Rivers State Npower Tax CTLOs) could act as spy on the IGR of Rivers State. The Federal Govt through Npower Programme & Ministry of Finance has accused Rivers State Government of frustrating their efforts & hence have refused NOT to pay Rivers State Npower Tax CTLOs their stipends of N30,000 for months now. They have both traded blames at each other, as we (Rivers State Npower Tax CTLOs) have been told in clear terms by staff of both RIRS, FIRS, Ministry of Finance & Organisers of Npower, that the reasons for our Non-payment and Non-deployment are Political. The Federal Govt also have been very nonchalant & displayed insincerity on their own part, in that one would wonder why it will apportion blames on a Rivers State Government and have not made any effort to know and settle what ever could warranty the non-payment and non-deployment of it's Npower Tax CTLOs in Rivers State.
Indeed when two elephants fight, the grass suffers. Over 100 Rivers State Youths are now victims of a political struggle & power play between the Federal Govt & Rivers State Government for a programme of which youths from 35 other states of the federation are benefitting from. Npower Programme is meant to be a 2-year contract programme under which the beneficiaries are not meant to take up any other paid employment.
Why always Rivers State? Ideally, are we meant to call for public outcry for over 30k stipends before we will be paid? Why can't Npower Programme shift us to FIRS? if RIRS is not willing to absorb us, why not shift the Rivers State CTLOs under N-TAX to other Npower platforms like N-TEACH, N-HEALTH or N-AGRO? Why is Vice President Yemi Osibanjo & Governor Nyesom Wike silent over our plight? Is Rivers State not part of the Npower Tax programme anymore?
Why do we keep receiving emails from Npower for Tax training when we are been owed for over 250 days now? Shall we continue in Sin that grace may abound? - Romans 6:1, Maybe because we are educated youths and aren't Ex-millitants who will resort to blow up Oil pipelines & installations when they are being owed their amnesty stipends.
We are law abiding, hard-working & resourceful youths of Nigeria & Rivers State, we deserve better than this injustice been melted on us by both the Federal Govt & our State Government. According to Clearance Darrow "True patriotism hate injustice in it's own land than anywhere else"
We can't continue to do the same thing and expect a different result, let love lead..

Jobs/Vacancies / Rivers State Npower Tax Beneficiaries Protest Non-payment Of 8months Stipends. by VickypediaPHC: 12:38am On Oct 30, 2018
Npower Tax Beneficiaries in Rivers State protested on Monday, 29th of October 2018 at the premises of DAAR Communications Plc, owners of AIT Port Harcourt over what they termed as a neglect & non payment of their 8 Months N30,000 monthly stipends by the Npower Tax programme of the Federal Govt as a result of a power struggle between Federal Govt & Rivers State Government. They complained that several attempts to reach out to the Federal Govt, Ministry of Finance, Rivers State Government & Npower Programme Social Media handles, have yielded no results. They were reliabily informed that the reasons for their non payment & No deployment letters despite working for over 8 Months was Political, as both authorities of Federal Govt (Federal Ministry of Finance) & Rivers State Government (Rivers State Internal Revenue Service RIRS) has traded blames at each other.
