I am sincerely down, just put to birth 4 days ago. After 1year plus of trying to get pregnant , took in, husband stressing me emotionally during pregnancy and having an extreme high bp. Delivering through cs eventually. Now the major problem, after delivery my husband called my family members and his. They all came to hospital no privacy for me or my child, eventually i was discharged. I don't make any decisions of my own, my husband sibbling wants to make all decisions for me. My room is fully occupied with them, i can't rest because of them. I just found out that i am having spinal headache from the injection that was giving to me during cs, i am in serious pains, they feel i can't handle my child as a newbie. I am just so tired and confused. They won't even let me change diapers. I know they are helping me out but i want to bond with my child* crying*. I can't tell my husband, he would feel i am over reacting or don't want his siblings around. We have other rooms, they can be there and let me bond with my child at times . Maybe i am having trauma or over reacting. Literally crying now

I have this same issue as well, and I'm currently taking boiled Poroporo leaf and drinking it with milk. I'm also taking tote'hema and ferrous sulphate. I've been able to boost my pcv from 24% to 32% in 2 weeks and I'm 8 months pregnant.

As for the malaria you need to take your anti- malarial drugs religiously. My Dr gives me Fancidar every two months.

I am Four months gone, got pregnant through ivf. I completed 29 this march. Been married since 2019 December. I just didnt want to wait as my husband was putting pressure on me. One thing i noticed from my husband was that even during ttc time he only makes love to me on my ovulation days, and we always quarrel because while we were dating he wasn't this way. He told me that he was on his way home from work, and i told him that i was bored that we should be on the phone till he gets home, because his work place isnt far to our home. He kept on insisting that he wants to talk to his sister, and that he called her to confirm if i have gotten there already? I lied that his sister went to get fuel, just to distract him. Then i realised he was close to the house after i noticed his car headlight. Then i told him that i should help him open the gate, next thing i saw a girl ran out of his car, i told her not to bother because i have seen her. All to my surprise she is my husband's worker's younger sister. I just went inside and told them they can both come finish what they started in my matrimonial bed. The most painful part is that my husband makes love to me 3 times in a month and it was during my ovu period. Since i got pregnant we have only made love 3 times now after the first 3 months of my pregnancy! He doesn't touch me and to even think that friday morning i literally knelt down to beg him of sex but he refused all for him to send me to his sister and then brought a girl home. I have born so devastated. This pregnant is still early . Just need advice on what to do cause i am so confused

Its not compulsory don't let anyone fool you. For surrogates it's compulsory because they want the baby's arrival to be timed but for the real parents and if 1 baby it's not compulsory if all parameters are ok. You still have a long time b4 delivery so you can always get a second opinion. Drs advise CS because they believe its safer for those who have waited. If u are young, in good shape, baby is ok don't see why you shd be forced to use CS if you don't want to. Always get a second opinion from another specialist. Abi have u paid delivery in advance wt ivf fee? If answer is no, no answer am just do ur antenatal jeje n waka when time reach
My time d clinic my company referred me to South Shore refused CS sef. Dr Alabi said since everythg is okay I don't need CS. Na me run cos I wasn't ready for pushing things when Georges already gave me date to see my babies @37wks lolzzzz, so it depends on what you want. If u believe u dont need CS n second n 3 Rd opinion confirms same, Babe pray about it and ask God to take d lead. U fit even offload sef naturally before the CS date so don't allow anythg worry you at this time. U don't need it. One love

If your Doctor says you should have a CS,I believe he must have his reasons.Maybe he is trying to manage you well to avoid any complications.
If he says CS,do it so far as you are sure you are in trusted hands.The most important thing is for you and your baby to be alive and well.

it was the seminar he held for us before the procedure, i am just 4months gone. But he is saying all IVF pregnancies must use CS. I am just concerned if it is compulsory to use CS for delivery, when there is no pregnancy complications.

me that Lily said my enemy has cervical adhesion, and the little fibroid i had, has distorted my cervical plate or so through using an ultrasound. Hsg said my tubes were patent nothing HSG SAW. Imagine?
I had to go to two different ultrasound center and they said the fibroid was measuring 0.7cm the other said 0.6 cm, and it is just too small to be reported and that it outside my womb or so. They also said ultrasound cant detect adhesion. I remember going back there and the doc advising me that if they don't do the hysteroscopy, my cervix is closed and they wont see where to retrieve and transfer my egg. I was already intending ooo, my husband kept on saying he won't allow me to do the process. I wanted to dodge and do it, untill my husband sperm result came out from Lily and they said their husband sperm count is 2million, this is a man that has 53 million sperm count always. They said Morphology is 0. My husband was so pissed, that was how i jejely ran. Now i am few months gone after my transfer from another hospital. Infact i remember taking all my test results to this other hospital, Doc even suggested IUI insted of IVF, but i insisted that i will go for IVF, i told about what they said in LIly hospital, he just laughed and said ultrasound cant pick adhesion and if my hsg that i did recently is saying no adhesion and patent tubes, then they don't know what they are saying. He check my cervix and said my cervix is good. Just taking out time to write this long epistle to encourage you , and give you hope. Most of this hospitals just want someone to spend money

Hello mamas in the house. So I'm about to start my ivf process with nordica, done all tests.

I was told i will have to do sonohysteroscopy, to scan my uterus for any abnormalities. Now they said they can find something there (most likely fibroid), and this can be a potential threat, even after i conceive.

So they said i have to do hysteroscopy to check properly and take out what's there, before i can begin the ivf process proper.

Someone is telling me that it's just a way for them to milk me, I'm a bit confused and worried. The hysteroscopy is going to cost about 300k +

Pls who has been in this situation? How did you go about it � pls

Same thing Lily told me. Infact ehh if not for sense ehhhh. I eventually went to another hospital. I am 2 months gone now

Please l would like to know if we have someone with my similar experience l can talk to
I was to start my ivf injections on Tuesday, went to the clinic this morning to do baseline line scan but the doctor saw 35mm cyst and advised l aspirate the cyst before starting my injections.
I am booked for the minimal invasive operation on Monday and then l can start my injections on Tuesday.
He said this is in a bid to rule out issues with OHSS as the cyst will get bigger if l don't aspirate it before the stimulation.
My period started today as well, l was think stimulation should start day 1 of ones period but with the chart they gave me it's starts on Tuesday.
I will expecting experienced mamas in the house to help shed more light and likely questions l can ask the doctor during my visit.
