Many tribes in Nigeria are like the Ikwerre, culturally influenced by the neighbouring big tribe.
An example are the Ogorri of Kogi state. The Ogorri have their own language and customs...yet many of them bear Yourba names..and can speak Yourba.
(Am aware of the great 'Are Ikwerere Igbos? debate...so don';t go there ). oga, they are igbos who are deceiving themselves |

Jakumo: Twenty five hundred dollars ($2,500USD) is the value of 2.5 million naira at today's currency exchange rate in which one thousand naira equals one US dollar.
It is absolutely astonishing that anyone in good health and who has the means to make a living would go to the extent of committing suicide over the loss of a piddling twenty five hundred US dollars. The man reported to have killed himself over losing the equivalent of $2, 500 was without question mentally disturbed and would probably have offed himself anyway over something just as trivial before long. you are not serious at all |

Where in the world don't they pay tax? the taxes collected do far in Nigeria, of what use has it been to the masses and the country at large? Give the masses a reason to pay taxes and they won't complain about it. People of Nordic countries pay up to half of their income in taxes without complaint because they reap it's benefits. You can't tax a country into prosperity |

But I don't see Nigeria going below 1.7mbpd next year then we leave the organization. Nigeria is a developing country which needs as much funds as it can get. We shouldn't allow gulf countries to drag us into their political wars. There is a reason why OPEC+ exists |
