i have only met one couple that fought this fight and won
my boss during my service year is AS & his wife AS
d gist was that they met during fellowship in camp (NYSC)
started dating, went out for 4yrs
then wanted to marry only to discover that they were both AS
their parents naturally were aganist such union
according to my boss, he & his wife tried to break it as well
but somehow, they cldnt.
after much persuation, their parents agreed
but on a condition that they will adopt

accordn to my boss, they now found refuge in God
he said that they prayed like neva before
he said that it was the most tormenting period of his life
then his wife had the first two kids; a girl, then a boy.
but 2yrs later, she took in again
they immediately thought of abortion
but she was 2months gone and they also felt that it is murder
so they prayed yet again
she delivered anoda AS child

he said that they no longer sleep togther without some protectn
as of that time, he said that his wife will go for permanent birth control.
it was a big story after the 3rd child
bc it sounded like nollywood


though i am very happy for, i wont even take such risk!

two guys with potentials but underachivers in my opinion  

talkn about miracles,

i had a very interesting encounter with some pple on my way home recently
i was a little distracted and lost in my thoughts
but unconciously, i was staring at this two women who were selling food stuff
it was during the strike period and hardship as you can well imagine was biting real hard.

these women were eating; one bread and the oda amala
mere looking at them, it was easy to tell that it might be their first meal for the day
and certainly not enuff for them
my mind strted wandering,
i wondered how this women take care of their children, pay their house rent,
provide clothing, pay medical bills etc
i cldnt figure it out!

then the woman that was eating amala, finsihed the food andd guess what?
the woman eating bread collected her plate and started lickn it!
i felt really sad!

that day, i was actually angry with my siblings for preparing what i didnt like or rather what i didnt feel like eating
from my conversation with the taxi driver, he said, these women hardly make reasonable profit but have lots of pple to cater for
therefore the food i saw her eating might as well be her food for the day!

this event can never be erased from my mind
bc, it recorded  subconciously

again, i learnt few lessons;

we shld be grateful to God for every single thing in our lives
everyday is a miracle
our lives no matter how difficult, is a miracle
no matter how low things might become, we shld always put up a smiling face (believe me those women looked more pleasant that day)
God neva abondones his own!


i tell you, things havnt been all rosy for me
but i have made a silent commitment
never to let anything get to me
if God can give hapiness to those we feel are sad
how much more us, u and i ?

i pray for one thing everday, that God will give me the right attitude becase with that i can overcome any event

its a new month
a new week

it is also, a new somng
a nw blessn
a new hope
new aspirations

it is a new quater

i thank God for his glory in my life
i thank God for my life
my parents, sibling, friends lives!
i thank God for continually keepn us safe from all dangers!

i thank God for having made us see this day, week, month, year
we cant stop thankn him for these unmerited favours!

we praise you for the directns and hope u have provided in times of hopelessness
