And the Noodles unsually got so soft and sticky very quickly ..

Check out tokunbo hot plates, they are the best, you use it till you get tired and dash it to your younger ones . I bought one when I was in school then, I used it till my friend mistakenly dropped it and it broke . I had to buy another one which I used till I finished school.

Below is the picture, I got it from google though, the hotplate is fast and efficient.
You can buy one round own for 3k, two in one like the one in this picture goes for 6k. You won't regret it.

Low voltage or those separate cookers usually white colored that has knobs can be slow.

Use the tempered glass ones instead.

mine is the white coloured one with knobs.
