Honestly I don't like complaining about things like dis but I think this is too much. I got married to a man dat is every woman's dream. (Glory be to God) but my mum in law is actually annoying and I think am tired of her problems I need to sort it out once and for all.Dats y am here for better advice. I got married with her daughter dsame month dsame yr but I did only trad. Marriage but her daughter did both white and trad dsame day. It wasn't up to one month dis woman started disturbing me DAT she want grand children. I was like mum am still in my finial year and have not done my white wedding please calm down d person in good position to give u grand child now is ur daughter not me.Hubby told her to leave me alone dat am still in school, Any day dis woman sees me she will be pressing my tummy asking if nofin has entered. Imagine ooooo. Next thing she will say is dat her son is now slim dat I don't feed him well, he will be saying all dis in d presence of her son ooo so dat my guy will start feeling dat his wife is not taking good care of him. I kept on enduring all those things simply because my hubby don't listen to her. He loves me die. As God may have it am done schooling I have done my white wedding give birth to a bouncing baby girl, Due to certain conditions my mum couldn't come to do my omugwo. I wanted to manage my self not to invite anybody but I couldn't due to d fact dat am a first timer and hubby and i dont have any exprience. We needed eldely woman to help.Due to her character hubby sugested we should invite her sister instead of her. I wanted to accept dat but on a second thought i know it will bring great misundetstanding and hatred towards me. I told hubby lets invite her. Hmmmmm Dis woman wont let me be ooo. This time around she said her son is darker now than when she gave birth to him dat am not taking good care of him UPON EVERY THING HE IS DOING FOR ME. The ones in bold letters got me mad. At any slightest talk she will be saying dat in d presence of my hubby.In as much as he still care for me as usual but am afraid this thing her mum is always repeating might affect his character towards me may be at time goes on. I have decided to confront her any times she speaks in dat manner to me but I don't know how to do dat.



Nb not as if I don't care for my hubby as she says Honestly I do, I help him well in his business and also combine dat with my household duties as a wife. Still she won't let me be.



Any person dat has a better way to tackle to issue should please help out. I will so much appreciate dat.

Honestly i laugh so hard at seun for his chronic myopic disposition, odoriferous shallow mindedness and intellectual stuntedness in handling this on-line forum.

He has forgotten totally that only him can never make naieraland what it is and nairaland is what it is today because of people who signed up for one reason or the other but today he has allowed himself to get carried away by the euphoria of owning the largest African on-line forum.

I have no grudge against him but i am seriously appalled by his level of intelligent quotient(IQ) judging from what has been happening of late.

It takes absolutely nothing for anyone with fairly good cash to set up an online forum such as this and gather so much attention in a very short time but the truth is that many people are just looking away from that and decide to embrace nairaland which seun has obviously taken for granted and he who the gods want to punish, they will first of all make him stubborn and grow deaf hears to warnings.

Anytime i read the new rule 16 i always see nairaland as primitive and Seun as a stark illetrate...thank GOD for intelligent moderators like lalasticlala who is really doing a great job in making Nairaland an online forum to reckon with.

I am using this medium to call on Seun to call himself to order before he wakes up to realize that nairaland has become a shadow of itself.

Please if you are from Mbaise in Imo state, ask your parents to reveal your culture, tradition and history before is too late. I got to know my uncle in 2008 when i just relocated to Lagos from Abia state. I was called by a friend for a job offer in Lagos, i needed a place to stay in Lagos before the job will be given to me. My Dad arranged with this my uncle to acomodate me. When i met this man, i was very happy at how his entire family received me. In 2014, my uncle relocated back to my village with his family. Two weeks back, i got a call from him and he requested i should send him some cash to enable him see a medical doctor. He told me that he was having a contineus hiccup. I managed to transfer some cash to him, and he was very grateful. To my surprice, my dad just called to inform me that my uncle and his elder brother just died. I was very shock and divastated with the news. Few days later, the third brother to this my uncle was about dying from the same strange hiccup. After some enquiries and consultations, some elders revealed that 36 years back, my unlce's dad died and they were supposed to burry him by slaughtering a cow but they could'nt because of their financial stand back then. They made a promise to slaughter the cow when they grow up, a promise they forgot to fulfil. The tradition is that until they slaughter a cow for their dad, they will never taste a cow meat when they attend any burial ceremony in my village. Some how they had a taste of a cow meat in one of the burial they attended and the result is death. This tradgedy can only occour when a wicked old man who inderstand the history and tradition triggers the clause. For instance, if an old man who understand the culture report you to the gods by performing a libation to the gods and reminding them that you had a taste of the meat without slaughtering to your late dad. The demons incharge of this tradition will kill such person. RIp to my uncle! He was burried today. I still wonder why we continue to practice this tradition irespective of the growth of christianity in the land. Please know the culture and the traditions of your land to enable you avoid rubbish tradgedy. Admin please push to the front page for all the learn
