Wiseoldman: Good day,
Kindly advice the schools in NSW that require agents. I have checked the pages of a couple of them, and I have not seen any requiring agent. I want to be sure, so I can approach the process more effectively.

nogara: Happy new year guys, I have been reading posts on the thread and I can see the alarming number of applicants on the waiting list and also the gradual increase on the number of new individuals that want to start the Aussie Journey. Nevertheless, one thing that is certain is that we are all on the same track. I passed through this thread and it was a great resource to me and I have given back to other people that have also been successful. Your GTE and financial requirement remains the crux of your application. Please , take your time and write captivating SOP and also write your English test. It’s better to have excess documentation and be sure all loose ends are tightened than giving rooms for doubts when you submit your application. I wish us all the best and Multiple VISA grants this month. Thanks bro for the encouragement. How is life in Aussie. I hope the struggle is worth it. |

Softkey: So sorry about your US denial, I've been there before so i know exactly the feeling.
To start the Aus package, i believe all docs you use in securing an admission to US would fits perfectly for Australia schools too, but unlike US schools, you'll have to make school fee payment of at least a semester before you can apply for visa.
To start with, search for schools that offers your course online, check their admission requirements and payments. Once you find the one that meets you needs, check if you can apply directly or it's a must you use an agent (some Aus schools would always refer you to their agent). You may find out by contacting the school as well.
Note: you might also want to check out some schools visa requirements before making your school choice.
Follow their admission process till you secure your admission. Once you receive your admission letter, follow the school instruction to make your payment and get your COE.
Go to the Aus immigration online portal, create an account and file your Application, submit all required documents, go for your medicals and Biometrics to complete your Application.
Relax.....PRAY...PRAY...PRAY.....and you'll laugh.
Hope you have something as a guide from there. NOTE: I'm still awaiting my Visa decision as well. Hello bro, did you later contact Pretoria concerning ur visa and why d delay? |

ibiyehmea: Good Afternoon Everyone.
The US embassy just wasted 18 Months of work by denying me yesterday. After 24 Hours of brooding, I have decided to look into Australia.
I'd need help to at least get someome to talk to about where to start from because I'm very confused.
Id like to study Engineering Mamangement for my Masters Degree. Can anyone assist? Start by securing admission. Use google and search for schools that offer engineering management Check Deakin University,Macquarie University, University of Tasmania, Monash University Prepare to write PTE even if the school u choose don’t accept it. Some schools accept MSc admission application only thru designated agents. Check d school website for the recommended naija agents Prepare ur fund for commencement deposit so that u can get ur Coe. Apply for their scholarship Once u have ur Coe u can now apply for Visa. Ur target should be July entry date Goodluck mate...ur victory is assured |

Glasses1: Update... so my school has terminated my admission because of the visa refusal therefore I cannot re-apply for my visa. it is well. Please I want to know if it is adviseable to start applying to other schools, also when applying, do I say i have been denied visa before? Will it affect my chances of getting admission? Please advice. Stating that you have been denied visa in the past has no effect on your admission and visa. But it is very important to state the refusal and back it up with the refusal letter when applying for admission and visa. Don’t give up pls..ur success is close by. Also explore the direct PR from here to see if u can fire that one. All the best mate! |

Softkey: Sorry to say, you can't really judge with your friend's timeline. Different cases with different COs. A lot of folks here including me submitted as far back as October or earlier and still yet to get the grant. It can come sooner or later, let's just keep praying or hoping for the best. If you submitted since October. I guess is wise u write to Pretoria, some guys here wrote to them as regard d reasons for the delay and they got their grant/correspondence the same week. |
