Hello house.

I got delayed due to insufficient funds. This is the only issue pointed out by VO. actually my bank statement from my sponsor wasn't good enough.

How do I tackle this issue of insufficient fund cos my sponsors don't want to release account with large balance reasons best known to them.

Is there any agent that can help me tackle this singular insufficient fund pls

Also is it possible I use someone that is not related to me as sponsor. The person will get an affidavit of sponsorship.

Kindly help me lay emphasis on this pls

Hi

Oh! Sorry for the mixup. I think it's safer and better to use the sponsor in Canada. He'd be able to pay ur tuition, and raise bank draft for you. Ask for his last 2 or 3 years Notice of (Re)Assessment and bank statements for the last 6 months. There's no harm at all in disclosing you have someone in Canada. You only need to demonstrate to the VO that you intend to leave Canada after your program in Canada.

I wish you Goodluck.

Thanks bro.

Please what's the "Notice of (Re) Assessment " all about, so that I can easily explain it to him.

You may want to confirm this information, but I think funds available for your studies can only be in your country of residence or destination. Submitting bank statements which is neither in Nigeria nor Canada may have caused a prob for you. Anyway, that's gone.

On the current issue, you may be painting yourself shady by claiming you have someone in Canada when you told them earlier you didn't. If your new sponsor trust you well enough, tell him to pay your tuition for one year, and raise a bank draft in your name for your 1 year living expenses. You won't have to change anything. You'd retain your old sponsor and have him write you a letter that he paid your tuition and raised bank draft in your name for your living expenses.

Thanks bro, but there is a little mixup, I'm not d moniker that talked about the issue not having someone in Canada in his former app, and want to use him as sponsor in his new app.

Iv never applied for a study Visa bfr, this will be my first. I saw ur reply and noticed it relates to my present issue.

So I want to enquire if I can use my cousin(Same surname) who resides in Canada as my sponsor. As d proposed sponsor(maternal uncle) said he cannot pay my fees and transfer to my dorm acct.

Is it still safe to use a relative in Canada as main sponsor( owing to home tie issue being experienced currently )

I will have to say to prevent all these multiplicities of sponsors, just pay and show CIC that you are genuine with a receipt of payment. Saying you have nobody in Canada and now having a sponsor in Canada might be a death knell to your application. I will advice you stick to old sponsor and pay up and explain relationship with old sponsor in a detailed statement of explanation.

Speaking of using a sponsor who is based in Canada, this is my case which I'm trying to tackle bfr submitting my application for Jan school entry.

I initially chose my maternal uncle based in U.K as my sponsor, but after speaking to him, he made it clear to me that he will not be able to pay my fees and transfer fund to my dorm account, but he can provide other documents, like SOA, Landed Property doc in U.K. Even when he eventually sent his Personal Company SOA, the balance wasn't good enough just 2,700 GBP. I became worried.

But I have a Cousin, same surname with me who is a Medical Doctor in Canada, PR. That can comfortably sponsor me by paying my first fees and transfer to my dorm acct. Though I'm yet to inform him.

So my question is, can I go ahead and use my cousin that resides in Canada as my sponsor?, will it raise any red flag If I do so in terms of home tie."possibility of returning home after study"

Gurus, everyone Please kindly make an input

Thank you

Ottawa told me to expect a decision for winter anytime from 6-10 weeks(late October - November) and Concordia said they would start review after their deadline which is oct1, my question is, is this normal at all? as anyone been in this situation.

NB: had submitted my application to Ottawa since june.

Probably Ottawa will shift ur admission to Fall, 2018 as they have numerous applications. I submitted my application on d 15th of Feb this year for Sept, 2017 entry but I got admitted for Winter, 2018, they gave me d offer August 29th.
