I have been following this thread but must have missed it. I'm planning to restock by the way. Do you think they will be fine provided I go through the correct vaccinations because I'm worried the disease is now already in my farm.
laposta: So, you missed gumboro on Day 28 and you didn't give them on Day 29,30,31 etc until they started dying. Your vet warned you that the mortality would be more but didn't advise you on what to do...Seems more to me like you wanted to see if you could evade vaccinations rather than a honest miss.
that's not exactly the case. I gave them Lasota instead of Gumboro. I was hoping to give them Gumboro but I was treating them for Cocci
Hi fellow farmers, I stocked 300 DOC pullets on July 27th and I failed to give them their 2nd Gumboro vaccine on the 28th day. On Sunday, I noticed 6 dead birds and my vet told me more was to come. Today, my birds are left 70.
Damalex4luv: Olodo made "an fantastic", also you said "what they noticed happening in an HR" And you claimed to have read the post. I pray all the curses stated in your post are all urs. You must be very stupid for even qouting me. Try go back to school because we're not mates idiot
@Vulcan was making a valid point though. The poster made valid points and you skipped it, apparently. Well, since you're still looking for a job, I suggest you read the post.
davidzfarm18: At a particular age. pullets react positively to increase in day lenght or Extra artificial Light. for example the average daylight in Nigeria for greater part of the year starts from 6am to 7pm(13hrs) Pullets coming to lay needs extra hrs of additional light to eat more food for consistent laying. Hence the need to give extra light in the morning or at night. literature has it that 16-17hrs of light most be achieved by 50% production. However. so many farms achieved good production % without additional light or photostimulation. The choice is yours.
davidzfarm18: Glad to see that the birds are doing just fine. you need to apply caution increasing the egg size. However. you may consider photo stimulating them for the egg no increase.whatever vitamins u are using for now.don't use more than 80% of the recommended dosages to avoid prolapse.
hi. Please what is photo stimulation? I got some 'foreign' results on Google but would like to know better from a Nigerian. Lol.
This country is funny. For my household, I'm not sure there has been a month we used electricity worth more than the fixed charge of 750 Naira. Infact, I'm so so sure.
inze: You ought to have reset the oil after the oil change which you didn't and as such your car is assuming you haven't changed oil. If you're expecting it to rest itself after the oil change then am sorry to burst your bubble.
Good day people. I noticed that my Honda DC still continues writing Oil Service Life -200% even after changing its oil. I noticed it came down from 75% to the point it got to 0%. I changed the oil when it was at 25%.

Marsh104: As per marketing, I don't know how ur area is bt my area here in Enugu is well under serviced. I breed 100 set of broilers every 50 days weighing 1.7 - 1.9 kg and the market is always ready. I supply to big restaurants and meat shops. The sales is by weight. I sell 1kg for N680, the head and leg for N50 and the gizzards for N800/kg.
At divine mercy, if u are making 0.3kg at 4weeks its a mess. I make 0.6kg in 17 days. I formulate my rations and its wonderful. Any who needs can reach me for directives, its free. Lets reason together and grow.
hi Marsh104, l'm hoping to go into broilers production and the weight your birds reach in that time is astonishing. Can you please help me with your formulation?
