If Buhari didn't compromise with the boko haram and the shiite groups then you think he will compromise on his stand with the criminal posture the militants are showing. By the time he takes strong military actions even the international community will not hear your voice... Politics › Re: The Foolishness Of Niger Delta Avengers And Stupidity Of Chevron by vincent10(m): 6:18am On May 07, 2016 |
Proudlyngwa: For some time, I decided not to write anything on Nairaland political section, because either the first ten posts is buhari is a dullard or after the first ten sensible posts, it becomes insults and tribal bashing, the days of analytical reasoning on Nairaland seems to be coming to an end.
On Thursday the fifth of March, Vanguard Nigeria reported that an oil platform belonging to chevron Nigeria was blown up by the Niger Delta Avengers, they promised taking the fight to gbamaturu kingdom, if he didn’t apologize via national dailies, as well as cripple Abuja and Lagos. Did they stop to THINK:I doubt if the thought their actions through, except they had inside collabo with the Chevron workers, who shut down well heads before their operations, did they think of the immediate environmental effect it will have on their communities, that is if that is their community. Do this people know the byproducts of crude, do they know how the underground water system works?
Their DEMANDS might be Met; but it will take longer for their attack on Nature to wear off, that action was wrong and is highly condemnable. THE EFFECT ON THE ECONOMY: According to a report, 1.5 billion naira will be lost daily. Will it stop the salaries of the President, Ministers, Governors or Senators?. Primary school teachers in Delta state are allegedly being owed 4 months, why do we always make the mistake that hitting public infrastructure always affects top government officials, it only attracts lip service.
THE MISTAKE OF THE FIRST AMNESTY PROGRAMME: America and Israel have a reason why they don’t negotiate with Terrorist. It never brings positive endings. Giving the militants monetary incentives was the worst mistake by the Nigerian government. WHAT ENCOURAGEMENT ARE YOU GIVING A GRADUATE OF THE SAME STATE WHO CHOSE PEN OVER GUN AND ITS STILL JOBLESS, WHEN A YOUTH LOOKS AT MILITANCY AND EDUCATION WHICH BECOMES MORE ATTRACTIVE? Establishment and empowerment should have been the norm.
THE STUPIDITY OF MULTINATIONAL OIL COMPANIES My conspiracy Theory: An Igbo adage says, it is the rat in the house that shows the rat from outside the way. Whenever there is vandalization on oil installations, repair contracts are won by the indigeenes, who subcontract the jobs to bigger companies who have these oil workers and some politicians as stakeholders. Tenders are raised and different departments prepare budgets expecting kickbacks, the money goes around……… What stops these companies from taking preventive measures instead of reactive measures? Are we being told that in this period of unrestiveness , such an important platform was left unguarded. Is the Chevron management telling us, they can’t afford long range night vision cameras with gprs capabilities? Are the oil companies letting us know they can’t employ bunker tactics to protect their installations? Abeg make we hear word. A big shame to CHEVRON TOTAL AGIP MOBIL AND SHELL.
BACKWARD AND INEFFICIENT POLICE: I don’t need to say much , other than Nigeria needs to disband its entire police force and contract policing to either Ghana or anybody else, they are just useless, lack digital footprint, moral bankrupt, embodiment of cluelessness and laziness, and I hope I added useless.
SO CALLED NIGER DELTA YOUTHS: Some of the Niger delta youths and IPOB members are always happy with this sort of news, my advice; see a psychiatrist. Asari, Tompolo, Ateke are millionaires today, you are busy wearing low waist and playing SCORO (Street cult). Your lands are being destroyed by your kinsmen, oil is losing its value as more nations discover crude. You are hailing them to scare investors away. POSTERITY WILL JUDGE YOU.
Lastly I would rather wish topics does not go beyond two pages and have meaningful contributions , than exceed ten pages and be filled with hate speeches, we need solutions not insults. THANKS AND GODBLESS YOURS TRULY PROUDLYNGWA GOD BLESS THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA

Politics › Taraba: Appeal Court Reverses APC, Alhassan’s Victory by vincent10(op): 12:56am On Jan 01, 2016 |
The Court of Appeal in Abuja on Thursday
reversed the judgment of the Taraba State
Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, which
had on November 7, 2015 sacked Governor
Darius Ishaku of the Peoples Democratic Party
and ordered the All Progressives Congress’
governorship candidate in the state, Aisha
Alhassan, to be sworn in in his stead.
In the lead judgment read by the presiding
Justice of the five-man bench, Justice Abdul
Aboki, the appeal court held that Alhassan and
the APC had no legal right to challenge the
alleged improper conduct of the primary which
produced Ishaku as the PDP’s candidate.
Alhassan and his party had approached the
tribunal challenging the declaration of Ishaku of
the PDP as the winner of the April 11 poll with
369,318 votes against their 275,984 votes polled
by them in the election.
In its judgment on the petition, the Justice
Danladi Abubakar-led tribunal had, in its
judgment on November 7, sacked Ishaku on the
grounds that he was not duly sponsored by his
party as required by law and ordered that
Alhassan be issued a new Certificate of Return
and be sworn in as governor.
The unanimous judgment of the tribunal held
that the conduct of the primary which produced
Ishaku as the governorship candidate of the
party failed to satisfy the provisions of sections
85 and 87 of the Electoral Act 2010.
The tribunal anchored its judgment on, among
other grounds, that the PDP’s primary was
conducted in Abuja instead of Jalingo, the state
capital, without approval by INEC and that the
party failed to give the notice for the conduct of
the exercise within at least 21 days before the
date fixed for it.
But the tribunal had dismissed the other leg of
the petition which alleged over-voting and
substantial non-compliance of the conduct of
the poll with the Electoral Act.

Politics › Re: What Happened To Our Reserves When Oil Was $120 Per Barrel by vincent10(m): 3:45pm On Dec 24, 2015 |
Gbawe: God bless you OP and may he shower an abundance of blessing unto you and yours going into the new year and beyond. One has to praise the Nigerians, like you, with the clarity of vision to see what is actually going on while also understanding what must be done to rescue our nation from the 16 year 'black hole' the PDP has sunk her in. PDP has led since 1999 yet where are the 'rainy day' buffers , now that oil is selling for around $35.00 per barrel under Buhari, when oil sold for over $100.00 per barrel for most of the 5 years GEJ was President? Where is the diversified and robustly flexible economy the PDP had 16 years to deliver? What is the fate of the SME (small to medium enterprise) sector that is the lifeblood of the most developed economies in the world? In fact the SME completely disintegrated under the PDP !!! We must also ask why the PDP, over 16 long years , has failed to provide the constant power and robust infrastructure every adult worldwide understand is a critical requirement for the robust and sustainable socio-economic growth of Nigeria.
This is the hand Buhari and the APC have been dealt and anyone expecting a miracle in a few months is simply an unrealistic and highly simplistic individual who has no space in their thinking for facts and the reality of what Nigeria is facing.
Like I tell my friends, Nigeria is facing worse than the credit crunch depression that crippled the economies of many western nations to the extent even leading and exemplary economies like the UK are only finding their feet today many years after the credit crunch and with economic stimulus measures such as keeping interest rates at an all time low of 0.5% for more than 6 years !!!!!!!
It would be better if some Nigerians take time educate themselves about the problems we face, courtesy of the mismanagement and corruption of the PDP, instead of constituting themselves into a menace and a headache for the Buhari government,. All. hands are needed on deck because this is what is required for the extent of the damage done by the PDP. The moment some Nigerians accept that we are in a serious economic downturn, albeit man-made, that is the moment they will understand they must be a part of the solution instead of making themselves a part of the problem with the ignorant and baseless demand for a miracle in a few months when the national income, diversified economy, strong SME contribution et al is simply not available to spur the sort of economic growth and well-being some want to see. When jobs were not created at a time we sold oil, which is responsible for 80% of our national income, at $110.00 per barrel is it now that oil is selling for $35.00 per barrel that employment will be booming? Nigerians need to think deeper, accept reality and make incrementally realistic demands. when fash and amaechi were dragging and hurling insult at gej for saving for the raining days like this you were sleeping. always blaming your failures on gej. |

Christianity Etc › Re: How Brainwashing Works by vincent10(m): 8:34am On Dec 17, 2015 |
Gayjesus: Brainwashing is a severe form of social influence that combines many approaches to cause changes in someone's way of thinking without that person's consent and often against his will.
Because brainwashing is such an invasive form of influence, it requires the complete isolation and dependency of the subject, which is why you mostly hear of brainwashing occurring in mosques and churches.
The agent (the brainwasher) must have complete control over the target (the brainwashee) so that thinking patterns and the fulfillment of other basic human needs depend on the will of the agent.
In the brainwashing process, the agent systematically breaks down the target's identity to the point that it doesn't work anymore. The agent then replaces it with another set of behaviors, attitudes and beliefs that work in the target's current environment.
This thereby explains why Islamic terrorist, church goers have no brains of their own. This explains why someone will work hard and give 10% if his hard earned income to a beings that "supposedly have everything" etc . They are victims of circumstances and every form of help should be rendered to them.
Famous Techniques of Brainwash
Repeating Your Opinion Makes People Believe It, No Matter How Stupid It Is
It is no secret how the same verses of the bible are being repeated to Christians every Sunday "Malachi 3:10 - Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that [there shall] not [be room] enough [to receive it]"
As for Muslim, just repeat this laialai inlalal lailai inlala 2 billions times and you will see the deadly result You have been brainwashed to think this way. |
