Npower stipends is over because the outgone adminstration is handing us over to the incoming as part of it's liabilities not asset, so we are at the mercy of tinubu. Only if they pay us the outstanding then we know what lies ahead going forward.

I'm not saying it will continue but I think the outstanding of January to May will be paid, I also doubt june and the rest will be paid.

Good morning Nairalanders, as the country inaugurate a new president I hope the new govt perform much better than the present one. However I will like to point out one or two things which make me ponder if religions do us more harm than good.
I have read some comments and post here and even screenshot some, that say Tinubu will not be sworn-in, where the self-acclaimed "pastors" or predictors even said unless there is not God that's when he will be inaugurated as the 16th president.
As far as I'm concerned, some of these people were told by their pastors or alfas and they believed those visions by hooks, line and sinker. There is nothing like God told anyone that Tinubu or any other person will not win or be sworn-in, rather it is the hatred they have for Tinubu that made them to be saying such a thing. The election was marred with irregularities though just like the past ones, as no election was truly free and fair in Nigeria, intact 2007 presidential election was adjudged the worst.
I think to kick APC out of power, a formidable opposition is needed just like outgoing and incoming presidents did, unless this is done, we will continue to be governed by the party we claim to hate for years to come.

Close this thread, NPOWER is over. We were lucky to get 3 months from these wicked vultures and it was for election, these people don't value us. The APC government is a collosal failure, Sadiya Farouq is a perfect example of it's failures, imagine peacefully handing over with stipends yet unpaid, nobody asking questions, this our batch suffer sha, no batch was ever owed for 5 months. There are people without any other sources of income who hope and pray for this stipend every month but they always get their hopes dashed. I really cannot wait for a better Nigeria. Question is, will it ever get better? It gets worse with each new government, we can't even decide our leaders.

And if they pay again, you will ask the admin to open the thread again?? We were deployed in October but got paid in February, so don't just conclude it's over like dat bro. If by the end of June or early july they fail to pay then we can say it's over.

Most of us if not all (C2 especially) have lost hope of getting paid, simply because the country is messed up. On a norm, we don't have reason to be sceptical of whether we will be paid or not since the money is not Sadiya's personal money and the memorandum is one year, but this is Nigeria where anything goes. The funny thing is, even some of us who are npower beneficiaries if be in Sadiya's position will elope with the money if it is possible to do so, that is how bad things are in Nigeria.

On a norms the money will be paid after Sadiya leaves office just like when Buhari paid the last batch of SURE-P people a programme initiated by Jonathan. But this Nigeria Sadiya and her people can go with the money. But I believe even if C2 will not be paid for a whole year, the four months arrears will be paid by the incoming govt.
