Politics › Re: National Association Of Seadogs Petitions Inspector General Of Police by vioment: 10:23pm On Jul 17, 2015
I consider these type of things more serious than boko haram. I say that because if a student cannot focus in school to read, research, and do experiments, what then is a student. Cultism is the reason that no Nigerian that studied in Nigeria can build sophisticated things. I have never seen an all Nigerian team build roads, or build a high rise building, or invent something from beginning to the end to be acceptable by all.

God forgive my sins for being part of the problem. Cultism is more dangerous than boko haram, quote me anywhere. If book haram knew that southerners value education very well and they were seeing the results of the education in terms of physically and scientifically, they would be killing the olodos in the north. The only thing cultism does is to teach a person to think criminally, that's the only time Nigerian students work in a group or do teamwork. The state government need to start fighting hard against cultism. No be mouth mata because in the next 5 to 10 years presidents will be having cult affiliations already governors dun dey. It won't get any better, many Nigerian graduates are unemployable due to the unrest cultism causes. Put cameras in every classroom and campuses, insert intelligence officals in every campus, cause confusion and sabotage against the same confra people so that the new year one students go see say them no wan face enemies and then government, make attendance compulsory for every class excerpt the person sick or something bad happen, believe in our educational system and pay lecturers with benefits.
Politics › Re: Buhari’s Visit: Is The US Our Friend Or Foe? -by Hugo Odiogor by vioment: 10:01pm On Jul 17, 2015
I am neutral on the US and Nigeria relationship because they owe Nigeria nothing. US is one of the nations that can purposely take a gateman from a very poor country and in 5 years, that person will be polished and sophisticated in their thinking. USA has come a long way from grasslands to where they are today. I might not like their gay stance but in the USA they try to give everyone a chance and a voice. There is no local government in the world that does not have someone/descendant in the USA.
Nigeria is at least 90% black, but still cannot live together or work well together. We want USA to come and help us do this and do that. Even God does not help people that don't help themselves talkless of mankind. We have to exhaust every option first which we have not done eg no intelligence gathering on a serious scale yet against terrorism; We have to rise above our differences at all levels so that external forces cannot cripple our resolve; We have to frown at crime, which is the only thing we do very very well.

People can say USA didn't win in Afghanistan but who is in power there?, they have perfected drone technology while there, they are perfecting intelligence gathering while there, and they are keeping their enemies on the run since their enemies play hide and seek. Nigeria, abeg make we dey know our mates. America is not perfect, but America is a very great country that have their own agenda and if they see a country with intelligence and courage like them, they align with that country. No time.
Politics › Re: Buhari To Complete Zik Mausoleum by vioment: 9:38pm On Jul 17, 2015
I like you Mr President and you are probably the only northerner I trust, but what igbos need is fair leadership. Ensure that a port is built, call out non working governors, go very hard on cultism in schools by many intelligence means, ensure 2nd niger bridge is completed, let igbos know they are needed like the others, and let them know that the fight against terrorism and cultism is also their(our) fight.

We igbos love the great zik but Ojukwu reigns supreme because he showed courage and leadership against all odds.
Politics › Re: Obiano Holds Mass Burial For Unclaimed Bodies Of Fuel Tanker Victims (Pic) by vioment: 9:25pm On Jul 17, 2015
Good job governor. Now, be at the forefront of the fight against terrorism which includes cultism. Lead the igbos to greatness because you are the only hope now. Governor rochas dey mess up big time. We need to lead. Yorubas dun secure number 2 spot, which forces them to lead. Rid the igbos of fear by encouraging science intelligence. Lead your state as the science capital of Africa which should make other states follow your lead. Four years is enough to make a difference in the science world. God bless you and your state and the east and Nigeria.

A massive investment in year ones and year twos now in your state, will yield great results. Forensics my man.

Politics › Re: Police To Begin Stop And Search On Roads And Highways Nationwide by vioment: 11:13pm On Jul 07, 2015
Not a good idea at all. It would have been great if our current police have morals but now na unzuuzuu unzuuzuu tins now.
Watch how they abuse this idea. If you get money as a civilian for pocket or motor now, dem know how to collect am. Chei, police dun hammer.
Government should have just increased their salary to 70000 a month minimum salary, take care of their uniforms, refurbish their stations, and kids school fees minimum of three kids per family school fees paid for in their primary and secondary schools level only. Then pay teachers the same amount and do the same as police. Then increase training and retain competent ones, that way you entice the current year one or year two in universities to study hard to become police.

The down side is politicians will not be able to carry money in billions and even millions but will be dignified personalities which I don't think they like. Even if police is going to do that, why not plan for body cameras before implementing. Now as it is, I forsee a lot of Nigerian police killing people and claiming they resisted searches and they don't want to take no chances.
Politics › Re: Nigerian Army Can’t Defeat Boko Haram Alone – UK High Commissioner by vioment: 10:50pm On Jul 07, 2015
Why won't they say that when they can just look and see the lack of organization happening internally. Internally, all governors are worried but not fighting with the federal government against this menace and is going to get very worse soon, I mean southern Nigeria attacks. Your shooku shooku red eye no go save you. na small small dem dey do am.
Governor Obiano should have been leading this fight amongst the governors now. He for be the man of the moment with President Buhari. Instead of pointing to governor Peter Obi, you for dey use the opportunity convince Anambra people as per why you go need invest more money for state security and why things suppose change. Things suppose change like recruiting campus students but your main focus for campus na year ones, and some year twos wey never blend, to forensic science, electronics and computer communication, physics. I mean like sponsor this people wey pass the test and the screenings, feed them, allowance them, school them, and dey always reorientate them until them graduate. Keep their identity secret and the organization go tell them to never reveal their identity while in university, tell anambra people say na because of security reasons; That way, you kill two birds with one stone by creating uncertainty among campus gangs, because them no go know whom to trust. Confra activities go drop drastically because you no go know who be government agent for campus, these good students can stay on the side lines in year one and two and just watch how the few current experts wey suppose dey on board now dey create havoc for confra guys in school, that way by the time these students enter fourth year, them go dun already leave school mata dey focus on preventing attacks, intelligence gathering, etc.
These things and many more effective measures can be deployed against bh. If them know say science and engineering go win them everytime, them tactics go change, before them know, them go dey educated if them wan counter measures. Army alone cannot win this type of thing lie lie, especially naija army wey fit help bh recruit, when them go dun go one area, beat everybody(good and bad), kill your papa, rape or kill your mama and sisters or wives, I mean denegrade you, totally disrespect all of una. Even for south, nobody like them talkless of when e set. Them no get enuff tactics for them arsenal. Na show in force to an area or ambush an area with no thorough intelligence. We need change of reality for Nigeria.
President Buhari is trying to set up strategy, governor Obiano seize this opportunity. Your gains are uncountable like having the forensics center of Nigeria and maybe Africa. Intelligence wins wars ask yankee. Them see as them enemies dey do, now, them no fit finish all of them at once, but them keep them on the run, and when always on the run, they are liable to make several mistakes which you can capitalize on.
Crime › Re: Two Students Murdered By Fulani Herdsmen Today (graphic Pictures) by vioment: 12:44am On Jul 05, 2015
Sad!!! This is why Governor Obiano needs to take initiative on this prisoners issue to build a sophisticated state. This is proof that our educational system(Universities) is at the bottom of substandard. Where are our geology graduates to be probing for underground movements with nondetstructive testing mechanisms like x-ray equipment, so that after an operation, they can be sure that the area is at least humanly and materially accounted for; Electrical engineers for decoding and intercepting communication from ground level through mobile movements or stationary status; computer engineers for data centers, data extraction, and computer communication security; all the way to prison guards with skills on collecting information and comfortable in using chosen equipment; the repairers of those things. You need to invest in two years of skills retraining to the willing intelligent novice and competent graduates. Be part of the solution and give intelligent input to the president, am sure he will hear you out. Sometimes it takes the populace time to catch up. Be wise Governor Obiano, play your card well as a leader, you fit succeed President Buhari.

May God bless your souls, your killers days are numbered for pay back.

Lol. Sister u funny. I feel you sha, because we dun dey fear since ages. We need action on all fronts. Bobos and babes in sambisa and it's environs check mating those idiots, then intelligence in samba or regional wide and outside too. The east need hold one for pocket. With good high standard intelligence -electronically(phone, bank, and various forms of intercepts) and physical (eyes, hair, spit, blood, relatives, mannerisms, their captured equipment characteristics, and many more). All those intelligence data can be stored in the east because it can be seen to have those forms of infrastructure. Then we can also be innovative and create environment that fosters detection physics which could be applied for security measures. We need to contribute to the fight against terror or unrest. Sideline, no go do am.

Fear will not give salvation. Sister, abeg apply knowledge for this matter. That's my whole point. The east of nigeria, has to have something tangible in terms of critical importance. This is an opportunity to be very sophisticated. Imagine collecting intelligence from disruptive idiots, data centers being built, counter terrorism training from experts in the east, forensic labs that can challenge any other in the world, financial forensics and physical. This could have been the start of the engineering eastern hub of Nigeria. This is something we needed to do anyway, but if we did, them for dun Sabo the tin. But now them give you money make you use because them they fight and you Wan reject am.

Is amazing the level of arrogance and ignorance being displayed because of prisoners location. Even our so called elites lack vision on this issue and many other issues to be fair. We cannot continue to isolate ourselves on every issue while everyone else gets help. If they had suggested this proposal to any south west region, they would protest but their elites would take full advantage of the situation. Former Governor fashola comes to mind.

I don't know why we lack foresight on many levels. Eventhough, we know how cruel our federal government can be towards us in terms of sabotaging anything they think would make us happy but this is different. With this situation being the top priority in the country right now, it needs to be understood properly to prevent or contain future situations.
Less talking, make I state wetin I think the advantages go be:
1) jobs, jobs, jobs, careers, ..... I can't even over emphasize that. This jobs are for some of the best and brightest not just from anambra or other southeasterners but also from all other parts of the nation. From prison guards, to Intelligence personnels, to judges and lawyers, to psychologists, to architects and builders for those in and around the area of interest, and all those that would benefit in restaurants, cleaners, dry cleaners, etc. I mean how can you go wrong.
This jobs might not pay you Maga money, but it can begin it's own civilization and help train future generations.

2) it is a way of contributing to the nation as a whole too. The governor of this hosted place is suppose to put the government's feet to the fire and hold them accountable for promise not to abandon their responsibilities. Afterall, we are all in this mess together. This is maximum type tinz.

To place more emphasis on point 1, and to counter those that say there will be a backlash, i say bring it on. A good governor or government will take this opportunity to make a sizable portion of their residents experts in communications and electronics intelligence, make it a world class place where idiots like bh no go get mouth and even house the world's worst people if need be and the pay is right. With world class forensic labs because it will be required to run such operation, i mean, many possibilities. Intelligence training for security agencies world wide. It can spur innovation of many spheres. Is crazy how we can't pass this small test.
Anambra is a great state in Nigeria and a pride of the igbos in and outside Nigeria, no stupid group in or out of Nigeria will disrupt anambra like the north or any other place, and not be checked at the point of aggression by other igbo states.

Make we reason am, we should strive to be part if not all of the solution.
To be continued.
Education › The End Of Cultism In Nigeria. Nextgeneration by vioment(op): 8:04am On Jun 16, 2015
Before you swear for me. I must confess that I am guilty of this rot in our higher educational system and I am remorseful.

I won't identify, so no waste your time on my affiliation. Change of heart, I am/was one of the so called sailors but I no fit swim or even anchor ship. Anyway, I have done naija bad by ining enough guys to our mata during my time. Along my life journey, a couple years after school, I began t realize my mistakes and worried my heart out not necessarily for me but for my community and nation as a whole. Long story short, I have decided to be part of an opportunity to fight it.

Straight to the matter. How can cultism in Nigeria be defeated?
I say, we have to go for extreme measures and I don't mean mass killing or anything like that with army or any of those.
I mean we have to dive deep into forensics. So at the beginning of every semester, every student, profs., anybody on campus, needs to be finger printed and databased (end time tinz) I know but e reach like that.

Known cult members, should not only be documented like the rest of the students with fingerprints, blood types, hair samples, eye scan, but also be forced to give up names and turn on their confra members. Which creates distrust among members. This can be achieved by, making sure they attend classes which can be checked through attendance record in class and at the school security post everyday. E go tire men. Which can later be extended to other students say three years later after restructuring - maybe just class attendance.

Graduates who were confirmed men, should be cheated out the work force excerpt is their own business. You say is going to increase crime, I say so be it. They will have to go to schools from secondary to universities, three times a month for a year. which should be chosen for them.

E no go easy but if organized properly, e go dey unappealing.

More to come later. I wan chaw. Yankee tinz.

Politics › Re: OPC Pulls Out Of NNPC Pipeline Surveillance by vioment: 7:25am On Jun 16, 2015
why do we need militants of any faction to secure our lines. That should be the question. Our country is just sickening. I thank God say I get chance come US for four months from last week. Na so person for no take know say life dey enjoyable and say hope dey in the world.

Back to the matter. Since this is our main source of lively hood that is threatened, it calls for extreme ideas like:
Making sure our pressure gauges works by monitoring them in a central location and other satellite locations. This is a no brainer, because a drop in unplanned pressure indicates trouble.

If someone is siphoning along a pipeline, then the next pressure gauge is going to relay the drop in pressure which begs for maintenance inspection.

This whole scheme calls for reliable and fully powered and computerized control room. Like someone complained a couple weeks thread ago, that "why do Nigerians not value IT " electricity is your answer. Plants like this, require mechanical and IT maintenance crew around the clock and also reliable power which am sure they have but I can't vouch for the reliability part.

Sh*t, I smell a business idea here that for now, I plan to keep mute.
