If I am to rate Nigerian army forces against my credible armies in a 1-100 scale, I give them 10.
The Nigerian army is credible against unarmed civilians or sometimes mini armed civilians. In sane countries, those are the police and special police jobs. Just look at the unprofessionalism of the army guy on a modified pickup shooting anyhow, looks to me it is without any regards of strategy. The navy and airforce display more professionalism than the army and they seem to do the army's job better than them, while the army command more respect and do a better job than the police; same thing play out between the police and yellow fever or lastma, while lastma and yellow fever perform better than agberos. One big misplaced priority cycle.

Is not many blacks that can make it Russia regardless of how hard you try. In America, there is racism, murder, hate, etc but they are working and trying to work on it. Anyway sha, I as an African, specifically Nigerian, cannot complain of racism; Wen at any point in Nigeria, I can get way worse treatment than the USA, Russia, Europe, and Asia can do to me combined. In Nigeria and lots of African countries, there's no atom of living dignity for their citizens. It is always fighting, insulting, stealing, misuse of power, religion, language barriers that can lead to death or war, etc. A lot of Africans would have chosen other continents if they were in charge of planning their creation, but with the same skin.

Russia is making noise; They are just a higher version of north korea(* see I as use small letters on top them matter - I mean am).
They(Russia) is trying to stir the pot of the world, but they are stirring without better solutions to the world. A very selfish nation and a very racist with impunity nation, if you ask me. They are an intelligent nation as a whole, but their leadership ideology - lacks creativity or innovation. There is nothing different from their leadership which reflects their populace most times, and African leadership, except for crazy weapons and more of better roads and power supply than many parts of Africa. They have no conscience.
Russia doesn't care about your country oppressing you, like major crackdowns or what ever or your well being if they are better than you; they just care about their own all the time almost like China, but China is a lot savvier than Russia economically. I don't feel like getting into the large differences between Russia and the USA alone or against other NATO members.


In terms of actual war though, hmm, no be mouth, Russia, China, north korea, iran, for the MOST parts will be a complete disaster zone in a matter of 2 months. For whatever technology(or-(gies) ) that Russia has, the USA alone and one other NATO country has it, and lots of times the ratio is 1 is to :10. Let there be no mistake about that. The United States of America would lead the general saner world back to sanity. It is sad that many will have to go like 90% on one side( Russia, China, and co.). *During the cold war, the United States was prepared for the Soviets, Chinese, Iran, and North korea and a few non threatening others. Now, we have Russia instead of Soviet union. A lot manageable if you ask me. When the soviets broke up, the USA turned that country upside down searching and documenting their weapons program; even storing some of them. Russia by itself or with its partners is no match. There will be no mercy during the bombardment. Great development. I hope they stay the course. Gather intelligence: create a website where people can report home address of known cultist in every area of concern; Rotate mobile police men and women in every dept. in universities especially where year one, two and three do their lectures, so that if any disturbance the force will be able to act promptly. Try and capture men that are known cultist and force them to give you names of other cultist.
The best way is to give every cultist a letter to carry with them making them know that you know them. Everyday of lecture, they should come and sign a paper of understanding, stating that they did not cause any trouble that day until they graduate and every time they come to sign, they should also give their fingerprint. Of course, in the beginning, take their picture for crime identification. The police and army can handle the cultist in the homes, the mopol and sss can handle the cultist in the schools. Flush them out of work areas eg banks, any security services, law, customs, and prison guards. They can work in any other field.
That's the only way to curb this rubbish in the south of the nation. You have to make them even more uncomfortable. Intelligence is key. Take their codes by making arresting them and making them give it to you and you giving them lesser prison time. If you get the wrong information, they will be given full prison time. Any cultist that start rubbish war in school or its environs, should be given 4years prison time, trying to bring someone in should be given 2years prison time with hard labor after the first warning.

Op, I don't know too much about arabs and don't plan to know. I just know that unlike the Europeans/white americans, the arabs are unapologetic and even more willing to enslave blacks today. My own qualms are numerous but I still start with this - cultism in universities and now secondary school is at least 30 percent of our problem where religion and ethnicity have 30 percent each. Back in my university days, I was a very proud member of one of the confraternities like many were, 75 to 80 percent of my thinking revolved around staying alive, my guys staying alive, and how our frat will be on top of the rest. Sometimes, it was necessity because if you let your guard down, you may become statistics. We had the power to shut down the campus, disrupt classes, connect with past members who may be those contractors or officals that most times help us financially to acquire better arms and release jailed members. Even so called Jew men had to reorganize their lives, they can't read at night peacefully because of the roads they might pass, they are bullied in various forms on and off campus, etc. These people and even frat members were suppose to be the researchers, the correct type of engineers, the lawyers, etc not the mouth mouth ones we have now. Those times they had to defer their plans of study out of fear could have been crucial times in their academics and careers, and in a big picture perspective, for a better nation at large.
Nigerians are intelligent people, may I say very intelligent people when given the opportunity and the environment to thrive in. Go and check Nigerians in so-called better countries thriving and you will see the pattern. Is a lot of factors and real honest decisions that can make Nigeria great better than the past better days Nigerians could believe. Right now, most of our graduates are affected by the conditions of their learning environment and the mercy of their lecturers who are most times truly helpless. Our graduates now, are on reserve knowledge from their primary and secondary school times. To be fair, a knowledge or two from their university days but very limited because people can pay for better grades anyway.
Anytime I think about our country, I dey trip how India, or china, Russia, or iran, or even England and the US, how them use better pass us if we do things the right way. How? The Nigeria I know could have and can spark Africa out of the stupid age/state we are now. Nigerians could have been leading in this zika and lassa research epidemic now; Nigerians could have thought of and started producing self driving cars and self flying planes; Nigerians could have systematically empowered Africans to make good use of its resources and probably came up with different sources of efficient energy sources; Blacks worldwide would be proud to be African and be proud of Nigeria's prowess in various fields; Blacks outside of Nigeria could have been wishing to relocate to Africa especially Nigeria, to better their kids future even others too. Africa especially west, east, and southern parts could have been more united and less hostile and maybe decide if we still like arabs residing in our northern parts of Africa. Right now in 2016, Nigerians don't know the feeling of having 24hr light for say 6months straight and may never know for many more years if we are not collectively serious.
When people say God bless Nigeria or Africa, people take it lightly, but that is a very serious prayer like praying for your health and life and family, and prosperity combined. Right now, am a hypocrite once more, I just got back from Nigeria yesterday afternoon. I don't plan to have my kids in Nigeria when I am settled if luck permits me a great mate in the nearest future. I am willing to keep on trying to participate in the betterment of Nigeria and Africa at large in my own way eventhough the conditions are currently meant to strangle you. Even the president cannot help Nigeria alone.

Declaring that the Nigerian Armed Forces had already dealt “deadly blows” on Boko Haram, Mr. Buhari said the activities of oil thieves and vandals would soon be brought to an end, according to a statement by his spokesperson, Garba Shehu, on Tuesday.
“The oil thieves and abductors are a less problematic target. We will re-organise and deal with them,” he was quoted as saying.
Speaking Tuesday in Abu Dhabi, the president warned telecommunication companies operating in Nigeria not to place their desire for huge profits above the security needs of the country.
Speaking at an interactive forum with members of the Nigerian Community in Abu Dhabi, President Buhari said the war against terrorism can only be won with the collective effort and commitment of everyone.
Remarking that the registration of all mobile phone users without exception will help the security agencies to pre-empt terrorist attacks, the president said telecommunication companies operating in Nigeria must adhere to the rules and guidelines of the Nigerian Communications Commission in this regard.
‎President Buhari assured Nigerians at the session that his administration’s war against corruption will continue to be vigorously pursued.
The president pledged that more persons who have abused the public trust will be exposed and brought to justice soon, adding that his government was committed to re-establishing former standards of accountability and probity in the management of public funds which were jettisoned under past administrations.
‎The president appealed for more patience and understanding from Nigerians as his administration takes steps to safeguard the economy from the shock of falling oil prices.
“In the face of our new economic reality of dwindling oil prices, there are a number of things we can really do without to preserve our economy.

Build roads extensively and maintain them; Pay civil servants and keep it up; Build freight trains and not passenger trains first; Federal govt. should focus on the power sector exclusively - we are blessed with the oil and gas to support our endeavor.
