Bro you See, these things boils down to individuals. Though engineers will give you mechanical reasons why a brand is better than others, you might also see such reasons yourself(I know my BM is more luxurious and has a better engine than the ford)

For example I have a colleague, she can afford top range cars however is sticking to Peugeot 505, she has about 2 of them.

I would consider Ford cars better than BMW.
Not like my BM is giving any issues, I just feel more comfy in a ford. Maybe my it's my thinking.

Ford edge is also good but make sure you thoroughly inspect whichever ford edge you want to buy. Also do your research to know the year of Ford edge that has been reviewed by users to be problematic.

The Focus was a tokunbo car. I was scared at first mileage was about 230k. But bro no exaggeration the cars was good even at that number. Better than some rolled back corrolla.

For the Ford edge I will definitely do my research. when the time comes

Great plus it depends on the model and year of ford you are talking about because "ford pass ford".

It was a 2009 Ford focus. I regret selling.

The maintenance is quite top notch but I went over a year and half without any major repair other than the servicing.

I have used a ford focus. Great car. Best car I have used. With proper and timely servicing I didnt repair the engine for once.
Only worked once on the legs due to bad roads which a good kazeem will do.
People only run from Ford's cars based on hearsay. You never know about something until you try it.
