It's called packaging. Most customers are more comfortable and want to think that they're dealing with people rather than an "I" or a "me".

Okay, bye.

Hold on, Sonny. Lemme try and help you out, that is if you are willing to learn.
If I may ask does HMO cover occupational injuries which occur as a result of a workers job?
Does your HMO take care the cost and rehabilitation Of workers who lose any part of their body in the course of doing their work?
Does your HMO reimburse Employers for all they must have spent in treating an Employee that got injured in the course of doing their job?
Does your PFA or HMK take care of a deceased workers dependents (Wife, children and/or parents) till all the kids are done with their University Education or till when the deceased's would have been retirement age?
NSITF does all of the above and even more. I'd advise you to insist your employer gets registered and also make the required 1% contribution on your behalf. It's for your own good.
Go to NSITF website for more information. Note, I don't work for them but I have benefited a whole lot from the scheme.

I see your point A'zagbor, I'm talking from my own experience. It's possible you've benefitted from NSITF personally. But from what I know, most companies just comply because it's a law and not necessarily because they want to benefit.

I've not met a single person physically who's benefitted from NSITF.

Thanks fur the enlightenment.

@virtualaccounts pls assist o. D company i work for though small has about 4 - 5 staff members. For embassy/visa applications do i have to make use of company tax documents? Or i have to pay my own tax separately? If so pls at what rate? Salary is btw 40-45k monthly. Thanks

For visa application, your tax clearance certificate (Tcc) will do. You can ask your company to help you process your Tcc if they haven't done that already. To do this they must have been filing your annual taxes.

You are getting things muddled up. NSITF handles injuries and even death which occurred in the course of work. Occupational injuries and accidents encountered in course of doing one's work. In case of death, the dependents of the person are well taken care of till the age which the deceased would have retired.

It's unfortunate that lots of staff do not know the benefits of keying into this. Many staff have lost their jobs due to injures sustained while doing their job, which should never be.

Funny enough lots of companies own by non-Nigerians are enjoying this while our Naija companies just siddon dey look.

HMO covers injuries and whatever sickness. The pension act covers death up to 3 times the annual salary of the deceased person. I know exactly what I'm talking about.

The NSITF Act is a duplicate Act. Totally unnecessary.

Career / Re: NSITF Begins Aggressive Enforcement Of Employees’ Compensation Scheme by Virtualaccounts: 2:29pm On May 01, 2018
This is good news and long awaited. Somewhat duplicated if you ask me as many companies already have HMO. It should be targeted to specific industry like manufacturing etal and other companies without HMO.

If you're not sure how this affects your company, please Holla me and we can help you plan your staff cost for efficiency.

Business / The Importance Of Bookkeeping by Virtualaccounts: 10:15am On Apr 17, 2018
Hello nairalanders,

Accurate bookkeeping allows you to see whether or not your business is actually making a profit. It is surprising how often business owners fail to keep track of this but it is obviously extremely important.

Bookkeeping also allows a business owner to have a greater understanding of how much progress has been made. You can look back and see patterns and draw comparisons with previous business years.

This can provide a greater understanding of the areas within the business which make a profit and where costs might be trimmed. This kind of financial analysis can help you to avoid problems in the future.

Ladies should learn for this. There are no fixed rules to getting a man you desire, bottom line is that you didn't snatch him from someone. Better off than you like a man who likes you as well and you keep styling from him and causing a lot of tension. Then you become bitter that a seemingly random undeserving woman throws herself at him and he responds.

At the end of the day, love resides where it is welcomed and what a man basically needs from a woman is peace and respect.

You have to understand just how expensive it is to hire employees.

For a solid accountant, could be 250k/month.

Plus you're talking....
- Vacation
- Healthcare
- Pension
- and all the risk of having an employee!

BUT!

If they work with you for half the cost as an Outsourced Accountant...

Not only do they save money.

But generally they're going to get a higher quality person.

Someone who has the GUTS to go out and work for themselves can relate in a different way.

They run a business and know how to *think* like an entrepreneur.

Because they are one.

An 2500k/month employee could be good.

But it's just not the same.

And clients can literally get ANGRY they've been overpaying for employees.
