LaBellaMafiaZA: Probably never because some (whites) are very delusional. You'll have to put value on yourself because they will never do it for you or do it willingly. And you'll often have to give them a dose of reality check every time their god complex displays itself. Very tiring but amazingly, they check themselves very well around people with healthy self-respect.Granted, some whites can be really racist, and that is quite unfortunate. However in this case I actually see nothing remotely racist about this couple's preference. They gave ample reasons why they wanted a white donor and it all sounds plausible to me. Besides they have every right to choose the race they want their child to be. If they hate the negro race that much, they almost certainly would have aborted the baby at the initial stage. I honestly feel they just didn't want their kid to suffer racial prejudice as a result of being a product of mixed parentage. I understand that such kids usually suffer rejection from both black and white communities in America. We can put ourselves in their shoes and imagine how we'd feel if we had asked for sperm from a black donor at the bank and instead later find out that we're pregnant from the sperm of some guy from a different race, perhaps a Chinese, a Somalian, a vietnamese or any other race. It can be a really disheartening experience. That hospital should be made to pay a hefty compensation for such gross incompetence. |
Awesome piece. I'm following intently. |
Twenty million Kobo I guess. |
This doesn't sound romantic at all. Try the health section. |
Sorry bro but this post aint funny at all, you failed woefully. You're still a learner in the trolling biz, try harder next time. And I suggest you use the jokes section next time. |
If this story is true, then shame to Sahara Reporters for suggesting that Shekau was not killed. |
After all this drama just to propose, I hope the marriage will last more than 2 years. |
PerfectFortune: Nicolas Ibekwe has finally found a way to get public attention and become popular and it seems to be working for him already.Ok, lets assume for a moment that you are right in your assertion. The pertinent question to ask yourself is: Is it morally right for someone who calls himself a man of God to indulge in such? Is it right for him to give money to journalists to 'launder his image,' is it morally right for him to indulge in "things of the world''? |
I really appreciate all your contributions. Nice to know I'm not alone in this. |
CityNG: Owning a car is not overrated, it's actually quite useful and the benefits are great like some that you mentioned.Wow, thanks a lot. That was quite illuminating. |
I don't believe this shitt, I don't believe the authorities will be stuppid enough to put up such a daft and pathetic defence. However, if this is really true then... I give up. |
Words are not enough to express how desperate I am to own a car. I fantasize about it a whole lot and can't wait to experience what it feels like to have one. I literally drool at the sight of my neighbours cruising around in their rides and I can't help but ask baba God when my dream will come true. I visit the auto section of Nairaland almost everyday just to feast my eyes on the vast array of cars on sale there and to keep my hope alive. I am so sick of boarding okada or treking everyday to and from my place of work and other places. There's nothing quite as painful for me as occasions when there's no okada, keke or bus available and I have to trek for hours under the scorching sun. It's even worse when it's raining, I'll just be cussing under my breath and wondering when this 'sufferness' will end. Almost every night I see myself riding a BMW 5 series in the dream only to wake up in dismay and with a huge sigh. If not for the dire state of our economy and the stifling expenses one is saddled with, many of us would be proud car owners. I'm saving up now though, and I'm mighty optimistic that in the next few months I'll join 'da club.' I really would like to know what it feels like to cruise in a cool ride, and have peeps, drool over you and see you as a successful chap. I bet it'll be an awesome feeling. I wanna experience the thrill of going wherever I wanna go in my mob and feeling snug in the comfort of me ride when the sun is angrily bearing down on the earth or when the clouds are let loose in a monstrous deluge. I am optimistic I'll have that feeling one day...soon enough I pray. Guys in my shoes please feel free to share your experiences or vent your frustration. Peeps with cars can also contribute, perhaps owning a ride is over-rated, let us know. |

I'm a highly skilled cook. There's no dish I can't cook. Soups are my speciality. I cooked my first soup at the age of 11. I still remember vividly how it all happened. We stored our soup in the freezer and my mum had told me to warm the last remaining plate for lunch. I placed the soup on the fire and slept off. I woke up about an hour later to a burning smell, the soup had burnt beyond recognition. Fear catch me! Mum will kill me! I had to rush to a nearby market and with some moneyI had saved for years I bought all the ingredients for the soup. I rushed home, and with no prior experience in cooking soup, save for a few times I watched mum cook, I was forced to prepare ogbono soup, else mum will kill me...literally! In the end the soup came out fantastic! Mum didn't even notice anything odd. It was much later that I told her what had happened. With that awesome experience, I went further to learn to cook many other dishes, and have become a very good cook...even if I say so meself. I don't even allow my fiancee to cook, I prefer to do it myself, t least 95 percent of the time cos I believe no one does it better than me. Abeg pardon the long story, I couldn't help but share the story of what made me the great cook that I am today. |

Rubbish questions Bill Gates, Mark Zukerberg, Steve Jobs etc, cannot answer those questions. Why subject their would-be-employees to such ridiculous and pointless questions? Those silly questions are not a test of one's intelligence quotient, period! |
Please tell me something else, I don't give a fuuk bout a religion that has brought immense terror, suffering, violence and brutal killings to the world. |
